So i bought a 2018 Chevy Equinox from here back in March 14,2026 from Paramus Chevy. I was excited to purchase the vehicle for the main reason of it being a certified preowned vehicle so it had a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty attached. I was very honest with the salesman and was expecting the same in return. He showed me the car fax and the car looked like it had been checked for everything and nothing would need to be bought or replaced on it... As soon as i was given the key, i realized i was literally only given 1 key. I asked the salesman what happened to the other one? He said it only comes with one and i asked if they could give me another one and his words were "sorry you bought the car as is" i was extremely upset but none the less i ended up going to another dealer to get a new key solely so i wouldn't have to deal with my salesman or anyone else from Paramus ever again... Later on that day,i realized that the auto rear tailgate didn't open at all so i had to manually open it. Thankfully, it was covered under "carbravo" but none the less, it made me question how thorough of an inspection they did of the vehicle before sale of it... Fast forward to leaving the car wash..as im putting tire shine on the tires, i noticed that the tires look dried up/cracked and very worn. Upon closer inspection, the tires are from 2017.... A vehicle with the same tires since 2017 and 72k miles on it..? The car fax states that 4 tires were replaced and an alignment was done...i guess they replaced the originals with used tires? I honestly have such a bad taste in my mouth with this dealer. Just very deceptive practices and I'm just upset because i do like the car but i have to question the carfax itself, on top of that im going to have to get a new set of tires that were never actually replaced. My fault for trusting a dealer and not thoroughly checking everything on the car before buying it.. Stay far from here...service department was nice to me at least when i got to tailgate fixed but otherwise, im never coming here again... **Also attached is the car fax report of what it shows and also the 4 tires currently on the car**

Scratches that go down to bare metal which goes against GM CPO guidelines. Stay away from Paramus Chevrolet. Scammers.

Purchased a CPO vehicle from salesman Edwin Garcia Sarita ,everything went downhill when he didn't want to provide a purchase order for my bank unless I did a $500 deposit then I jokingly asked if he'll top the gas tank, declined and started begging to give him a 5 star review for a full tank of gas. Moving forward, at moment of e-signing document I noticed they had added 10 miles on documents on top of it's true mileage (basically once vehicle is out the lot whatever issue it has I'm sure I'd get told "well you drove it 10 miles already, not our fault). I made them correct this against their will. I paid for vehicle to get shipped from NJ to California , upon arrival the vehicle has huge dents on the passenger side ,rock chips, scratches that were not mentioned and not shown when asked for full car details, videos and photos (Edwin Garcia Sarita sent them to me via his personal Whatsapp and via text). Clearly he avoided pointing the camera at the issues. Contacted Ivonne Flores (some type of unprofessional manager who avoids and hangs up on you) , sent all the pictures I was provided by Edwin Garcia Sarita + pictures of transportation company pointing out the dents, rock chips, scratches, the broken RF mirror ,etc. after multiple avoided calls, she finally responded stating the damages were shown and they can offer 500 as goodwill. Crazy. That's basically them admitting to the issue and trying to shut me up by signing a document and accepting 500 from them. Next, took the vehicle to get it smogged, fails . Called GM,took vehicle to local Chevy dealer, they put the scanner on and it's throwing at least 5 different issues + Theft Deterrent System has been activated and won't let me start the car unless I cycle through pressing the push start for a while in hopes that the vehicle recognizes the smart key. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the smart key at all leaving me keyless. Called Paramus Chevrolet, was told Ivonne Flores (manager) was not in the office ,explained the situation ,advised of seeking legal help for fraud and misrepresentation,Ivonne quickly tapped in the call, was told to send smog failure documents via email, I did exactly that. Now Ivonne Flores is telling me I need to drive the vehicle to reset whatever issue it has. Keep in mind the vehicle has temp tags from NJ in California , not registered; I'm not exactly at free will to drive the vehicle for who knows how long . To begin with the vehicle should have been ready to go when it got here, the vehicle isn't even passing smog! Worst dealership ever, while searching for auto shipping company I was advised and warned by a carrier that Paramus Chevrolet went down hill after the original owner sold the company. After all these issues they're still avoiding me and telling me I need to drive/ take care of vehicle issues on my own. I feel a responsible dealership would have scheduled me with a local dealership to get vehicle inspected and quoted for paint/body work under their company Paramus Chevrolet and get it taken care of,instead of being offered $500 TO SHUT ME UP AND FORCED TO SIGN A DISCLOSURE. Standing by for their resolution otherwise I'm sure any attorney would have a field day with them, cosmetic damage, the theft deterrent system warning, and the inability to pass a smog inspection--constitutes fraudulent misrepresentation and a deceptive trade practice.

Mass Air Flow Sensor Wiring Harness - Asked to have this cracked Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring harness replaced, they only glued it.

I have included what is fraud on their mechanics' part, I feel bad as their sales staff has been good to my family but if the mechanics are crooks then it is time to run away. Look at the pins of the Mass Air Flow Sensor pictured. I come from a generation that worked on their car and 1'm not part of the participation trophy generation. So if you look at the picture from Left to Right there is 8 pins, pay attention to pin 8 all the way to the right, if you force the connector in that is what would happen to the pin bent flat. Why? The wiring harness is a flat plug with 8 holes, I made sure when I brought the part the pins were all straight, and when I installed it, the harness slipped in without issues. Here is the fraud, look in the middle to Pins 3, 4, & 5, there is no way the harness would have ever seated correctly and I drove to the dealership with this Mass Air Flow Sensor so how were Pins 3, 4, & 5 bent like that? FRAUD! Look at the shape it looks like a pen was used or a Philips Head Screwdrive you know what you need to use to remove the two screws holding it in place. I want Paramus Chevrolet to contact me but I know they are cowards and they know they are probably caught and will not address the issue. They scrambled and panicked when I asked them for the old part. Alway request your old parts good mechanics are not crooks and they will show you what they replaced. Do not trust them Paramus Chevrolet for mechanical work!!!

In Feb. 2025 I purchased a 2022 Silverado from Paramus Chevrolet with 18,000 mile on it. I was charged $998.00 for a Zurich Shield Which Protects the paint and the seats for one year. I never authorized this protection and I explicitly told the sales woman that I didn't want it. I was charged $800.00 for document fees, I was never told what they were for. I was charged $500.00 for Title and registration fees. I live in New York and I know it doesn't cost near that much. They had the nerve to charge me $20.00 to mail my plate to my house. All that being said, I have the vehicle for two weeks and I start to smell anit-freeze. So I bring the vehicle to my local Chevrolet dealer to take a look at it. My Chevy dealer told they found a bad radiator. They told me that someone was working on it because there were markings on the coolant reservoir showing the height of the coolant level. They told me that the truck should have never been sold like that. After contacting them I was told by the sales woman who I purchased it from to bring it back and some one would look at it. I wasn't going to drive it back 60 miles and risk overheating. There gave me a line of s***. I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with them. I feel like I was taken advantage of and was ripped off. I will never purchase anything from Paramus Chevrolet again. I will make sure that all my friend and family know what happened and advise everyone I know to stay away from them. OMG buyer beware. Yours truly, John Calvello

From the moment I arrived, the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. I was fortunate enough to secure a next-day Saturday appointment, which made the process incredibly convenient. The service team was efficient and completed the work in about four hours. They even arranged for a complimentary Lyft to take me home, which was a thoughtful touch. Although I didn't need the return ride, I genuinely appreciated the offer. If you're in need of service for your Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep, I highly recommend Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Paramus. Their excellent customer service and commitment to making the experience smooth and enjoyable have made me a loyal customer moving forward. I am absolutely furious with how this situation has been handled by Paramus Ram, and I would…read moreseriously warn anyone thinking about bringing their vehicle here for service. I bought my used Ram in January with around 35,000 miles on it. This past week, the truck started smoking and leaking antifreeze. After bringing it into the shop and going through a significant amount of troubleshooting, I was told the heater core needed to be replaced. Once the dashboard was pulled out and they were actually able to see the heater core assembly, they found something that honestly pissed me off even more than the $4,000+ repair bill. The heater core had clearly been replaced before, but the casing that was installed was cracked and broken in multiple spots. Instead of replacing the damaged casing properly, someone had tried to GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER IN THREE DIFFERENT PLACES and apparently thought that was good enough. I immediately pulled the Carfax and found that the previous owner had brought the truck to Paramus Ram last September at around 32,000 miles to have the heater core replaced. So this repair lasted a few thousand miles. I called Paramus Ram, explained exactly what was found, explained that their dealership was the one that performed the previous heater core repair, and gave them the opportunity to actually take some accountability for it. Their response was basically: too bad, you're the second owner, there's nothing we're going to do. That is what really sends me over the edge with this. I understand that I bought a used vehicle. I understand warranties have rules. What I do not understand is how a dealership can perform a repair, have the part later pulled apart and found cracked, broken and glued together in multiple places, and then completely wash their hands of it because the vehicle changed ownership. I'm now stuck paying over $4,000 to fix a problem that, based on what was found, very clearly traces back to the previous heater core repair. And apparently nobody at Paramus Ram thinks that deserves any type of accountability. I have photos of the damaged and glued casing, the Carfax showing the previous heater core repair at Paramus Ram, and the current repair documentation. I plan on making sure all of it is available anywhere I post this review. If this is the kind of work being done in their service department, and this is how they respond when someone brings an issue like this directly to their attention, I would not trust them with my vehicle again. Avoid Paramus Ram. I would not buy a vehicle from them, I would not buy parts from them, and I definitely would not let their service department touch my truck. Being handed a $4,000+ bill because a previously replaced heater core casing was apparently held together with glue is ridiculous enough. Being told they don't care because I'm the second owner is a joke.

I was greeted by Gio who was my sales rep the entire time. I immediately was greeted, I let it be known I was looking to purchase a Model y and instantly was offered a test drive. The test drive was great, Gio took me for a drive using full self drive ( very cool nobody has anything near this) and then he let me go alone. The car was awesome! When I got back from the test drive I said let's do it let's wrap it up. This buying part of this was so damn easy, simple, quick and just refreshing. No bs , no price gauging the price on the website is the price you pay. I completed a finance form through the app, unfortunately they didn't have any model us available so I had to order one but this entire buying process took all of maybe 30 minutes, if that. I brought Payton's and w-2 documents for the loan, never even needed them. Normally car buying experience is long, draining and annoying. Filled with bs and lies. This was the exact opposite, it's like the Apple Store of cars. Gio was amazing and I cannot recommend him enough. Idk if these guys make a commission but Gio was top notch, no pressure at all to buy he was just a guy who seemed likes he loved Tesla and knew a lot about them. If every car dealer operated like Tesla the reputation of car sales would be essay different.

I went to the showroom unsure of which model I wanted. I was considering the Tiguan, Taos, and Jetta. He told me they could only offer me a good deal on the Tiguan. At the time, I was over my lease mileage, and I feel they used that to pressure me into buying a Tiguan that already had about 2,600 miles on it. I assumed it was simply a demo vehicle or one that had been driven by sales staff. Not long after I purchased it, the problems started. First, the airbag warning light came on, and they had to repair it. Then the vehicle began jerking while I was driving on the highway, and I received a transmission error message. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership and requested a lemon-law exchange because I didn't want to keep a vehicle that was already experiencing major transmission problems just a few months after I bought it. While I was on the phone with Volkswagen Corporate, the dealership manager accidentally showed me the Carfax report. That's when I discovered the vehicle was actually a corporate fleet vehicle, not simply a demo vehicle as I had believed. Even worse, the Carfax showed that the previous owner had returned the vehicle because of an airbag failure. I was never informed of this history before purchasing the vehicle. Now the car is back in the shop and needs a new Transmission Control Module. Throughout this ordeal, the dealership has never provided me with a loaner vehicle, and the manager acted as though he simply didn't care. I also haven't received the level of support I expected from Volkswagen Corporate. As a result, I'm stuck paying more for this vehicle than I was for my previous brand-new Tiguan lease, while dealing with repeated mechanical failures and a dealership that has shown little concern for my situation. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I strongly recommend that anyone considering buying a vehicle from this dealership do their research and think twice before making a purchase. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what my family and I have experienced.
