I am filing this complaint regarding my purchase of a used Honda Accord EX-L from DCH Honda of Paramus, New Jersey, in April 2026. Less than 10 minutes after leaving the dealership, multiple warning lights came on. I immediately returned but was told it was too late in the day and that I would have to come back. I explained that I live over an hour away, work six days a week, and could not leave my car there for the approximately four hours they said it would take without transportation. I asked for a loaner vehicle but was told none were available, despite the dealership advertising loaner vehicles. The sales manager said he would look into a rental car, but nothing was ever arranged, and eventually my emails went unanswered. My mechanic also found that the protective splash shield underneath the vehicle was missing, leaving important components exposed. This was never disclosed at the time of purchase. I am extremely disappointed with the dealership's lack of communication and failure to resolve problems that appeared almost immediately after the sale. I am requesting reimbursement for the splash shield and an appropriate resolution for the inconvenience and poor customer service I experienced. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this Honda dealership in Paramus, especially during the lease return process. At the beginning, everything was smooth and friendly while we were signing another lease for our Honda Passport. However, things completely changed when it came time to return the vehicle. The staff became unresponsive and difficult to deal with. I won't name the individual, but I would strongly recommend avoiding working with him. We were charged $600 for what they described as "damage" on the wheels. The issue is that these were very minor scratches consistent with normal wear and tear. To confirm, I checked with a trusted auto body shop--including a friend who owns one--and they both agreed that these marks were minimal and should not justify such a high charge. When I tried to question and understand the charges, the dealership avoided providing clear answers and lacked transparency. It felt like they were pushing unnecessary fees without proper justification. Overall, this experience left a very bad impression. I bought a car certified preowned from this dealership only two days later the alternator failed! My mechanic inspected the car and told me that he did not meet CPO standards. There is evidence of front endcollision that was repaired (not on Carfax) and the front and rear tires on an all-wheel-drive do not match which is against CPO rules. The dealership offered to fix the vehicle under the CPO warranty, but will not rescind the sale in good faith. I know I have to go through Legal channels. They should not be allowed to sell a certified preowned vehicle (which costs more by the way) in this condition. I recommend staying away from this dealership at all costs. read more

You already have my phone # and all my personal information because your dealership failed to honor the terms of a vehicle's marketing and purchase, yet my phone has never rung. I've already wasted two days and money traveling to NJ and will not waste more. DCH Paramus Honda has shown me repeatedly who they are. Shame on me once, but I'd be a complete fool to entertain more. You've burned that bridge--there is zero chance of regaining my trust in your dealership or its vehicles. While you cannot "make things right" with me, I hope you at least change your practices. -------------------------------- Unless you're seeking fraud and deception, stay away from DCH Paramus Honda. On 8/29/25 I placed a $2,500 down payment on a 2023 Honda CRV that was falsely advertised as Honda Certified with heated leather seats. After traveling from Long Island, NY, I discovered at the dealership that the car was NOT certified as it has aftermarket leather, which automatically disqualifies certification. The dealership claimed it was a "mistake/oversight" and promised to "make it right" with a warranty and small repairs, including removal of a wire on the floor of the back seat area. When my friend asked why the front passenger seat wasn't heating and inquired about the wire, salesperson Harold Martin claimed he didn't know what it was, or what it was connected to. He said it was "probably" from a rear camera and assured me it could be easily removed. Trusting him, I agreed to move forward. After two weeks of delays and Harold saying that the wire was removed, sales manager Chong Lee admitted on September 13th that the wire was actually tied to the passenger seat heating system and that when they attempted to remove it, it damaged the electrical system. He gave me two choices: they remove the leather, and I accept cloth seats which he promised would then heat and the electrical system would work (which made no sense), or I could cancel the deal. I of course chose to cancel. On 9/17, (before I even got my refund), DCH Paramus Honda re-listed the EXACT SAME CAR (VIN # 2HKRS4H48PH400871) with the EXACT SAME FALSE CLAIMS - once again advertising it as Honda Certified with heated seats, despite them acknowledging to me this is untrue. Their 360 degree interior view (they removed photos in the 2nd listing) still showed leather seats (meaning it's not certified) and the exposed wire remained visible, which they admitted caused electrical issues -- a potential safety hazard for the next unsuspecting buyer. DCH Paramus Honda is fully aware of these issues and continues to market it deceptively. This was not a one-time mistake or an oversight; it is deliberate misrepresentation and a pattern of deception. Also noteworthy is the dealership's negligence of leaving the previous owner's registration in the glovebox, which raises privacy and data concerns. There are reputable dealerships out there, but this isn't one. STAY AWAY FROM DCH PARAMUS HONDA. read more

Worst services and dealership! I brought my Honda in for a fuel pump recall repair at 9:00 AM, expecting it to be completed within the 3-4 hours as they promised. By 3:00 PM, I still hadn't received any updates, so I called and was told the car would be ready by 4:00 PM. When I arrived at 3:45 PM, I was made to wait until after 4:15 PM, only to be told that the fuel pump BROKE during the repair, leaving my car UNDRIVEABLE. To make matters worse, they claimed they couldn't provide me with a rental car because the rental service had already closed. The lack of communication, carelessness during the repair, and failure to offer a proper solution left me stranded for the whole weekend and extremely dissatisfied. I expected better service from a dealership representing Honda. And to think I bought this car there! Stay fat away from this place- lack of experienced employees and terrible service. I purchased a vehicle from DCH Paramus Honda on June 25, 2025, and was told the dealership would handle registration and titling in Virginia. I was issued a New Jersey temporary plate, valid for 30 days, which expired on July 23. As of July 25, I have not received permanent plates, registration, or proof that my paperwork was submitted. Despite multiple follow-ups by phone, text, and email, the dealership has not provided: * Confirmation that the paperwork was submitted to the VA DMV * A case number, tracking number, or submission date * Any temporary operating authority or resolution I contacted the Virginia DMV directly. They stated they have no record of any title or registration under my name or VIN as of July 24. I was not given direct access to the title staff handling my case. I was only given a first name and reached the person once briefly by phone. Follow-up attempts have not been returned. I also experienced dismissive and misleading communication throughout the process: * From the front desk, I was repeatedly told: "Don't worry honey, you've got a lot of time," "Try to stay cool, it's hot outside," "It should arrive by Monday," and "It's a DMV delay." These responses were provided without any supporting documentation or status updates. * From my salesperson (Ray) and a manager (Osvandy), I was told the delay was due to the Virginia DMV. However, no proof of submission, confirmation from the DMV, or explanation of what was submitted or when was ever provided. I had to personally contact the Virginia DMV and research the registration process on my own. At no point did the dealership offer to take corrective action or provide verifiable information. As of this review, I have no valid registration, no active plate, and no assurance that the registration process was ever started. I have submitted a formal complaint to the New Jersey MVC. read more

Customer loyalty means nothing at this dealership. After multiple leases from DCH, I went to turn in my car, a sport model w/under 20k miles hoping to leave with a new lease and a possible upgrade since their loyalty program boasts ' low or no down payment', potentially lower monthly payments. I left there w/higher payments for a vehicle that was a stock model with absolutely no amenities which I wasn't even shown before leasing or I never would have agreed to lease it. Mind you I was so pressured I told them I wanted to leave, but was told they would give me a deal on a different model so I agreed sight unseen. The only thing the salesman was interested in was me giving him a 5 star review. So much so that he repeatedly called and left messages telling me to make sure I give him a great review. The worst business practice ever. Was working a deal with a salesman, numbers and trade was discussed. Advised that my husband was coming to participate in the rest of the process (I had stated that we were interested in and willing to make a deal that day). While I waited outside for my husband to get there, the salesman came out and told me the car sold. He claimed that another salesman got the second key to the car we were working the deal for, went for a test drive and then "grabbed" the folder with documents from his desk and sold the car (it had been about 20 minutes since I went outside.) He then stated he was disappointed as well and offered to show me another model of the same vehicle (a more expensive one to make the situation even worse). STAY AWAY - Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Sold With Major Safety Issues I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2021 Honda Pilot from DCH Paramus Honda in August 2023. Since then, I've discovered two extremely concerning issues that raise serious questions about the dealership's inspection and certification process: Missing Subframe Bolts - Shortly after purchase, my mechanic found that critical subframe bolts were completely missing from the vehicle's front end. This could have been catastrophic. We were driving our infant son in this car, believing it to be safe. I paid out-of-pocket to have the bolts replaced -- something that should never have happened with a Certified vehicle. Undisclosed Aftermarket Wiring - In February 2025, the vehicle suddenly lost acceleration and threw multiple system errors (VSA, EPS, Adaptive Cruise, etc.). A different Honda dealership diagnosed the issue as a short caused by aftermarket lights installed before I purchased the vehicle. I was again forced to cover the repair cost, despite this being a CPO sale. I've reached out to the dealership multiple times over several months -- calls, emails, voicemails -- with limited or no follow-up. No one has provided the CPO inspection paperwork, explained how these issues passed certification, or taken accountability. My wife no longer feels safe in the vehicle, and we've stopped putting a child seat in it. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has shaken our trust in Honda's CPO program. I strongly urge other families to think twice before purchasing from this dealership. read more

So this is an addendum to my original post. Please, if you are in the market for a Honda, do not get a 2026 and by NO MEANS, subject yourself to the syndicate at this dealership. Liars who give zero care or interest about you or your experience. The general manager, Wyel Yunes, pretended to take interest in my situation with the 2026 crv-ex that I leased in November. I was dissatisfied from the get go but was told after 3 days it had already been funded and could not change the car for what I thought I was getting. Yunes told me he would speak with corporate and do what he could to get an " R. O ", which is a repair order and take that money and put it toward a different car. He said it would take a month. It's been 6 weeks and I've left over 7 messages none of what have been returned. Today I insisted to speak with him. I was transferred to a regular manager who told me he spoke with him and there's nothing they can do. Let me tell you the problems with this model. Major draft in driver side door that requires me to point the vent on high heat to that area to offset the cold. Infotainment center works when it wants to. Texts don't always come through, car play isn't always efficient, rear camera does not align with parking spot you are backing into even though the lines light up as if they are, if idling in your car for more than 15 minutes it just turns off, the upper vents to not push out much heat, the lowest setting on the seat warmer can feel like the highest. DO. NOT. Lease or buy any 2026 Hondas. Or if you do, it's at your own risk. And yes, I've had it to service twice..." can't find anything wrong with it". TWICE. Go to ANY OTHER dealer besides DCH. I've opened a case, called corporate, who also does not return calls. This place is a huge huge rip off. Stay. Away. I had to leave one star because you have to choose or you can't post the review but I'd leave zero if I could. read more

We recently visited DCH Honda in Paramus intending to purchase a car. What started as a straightforward negotiation turned into one of the most unprofessional and upsetting dealership experiences I have ever had. After speaking with the manager, the salesman told us he was authorized to give us a certain price and confirmed certain terms which he said were authorized by the manager. He drafted up the paperwork and we were in the process of signing them (in fact, had already signed one of the pages) when the manager told us he needed to increase the price. Although we felt we were entitled to the deal as agreed upon, we tried to salvage the deal by changing to a less expensive trim and changed the color to one which did not require an "up charge." It was our understanding that the remainder of the terms were the same. The manager then said that the deal would not include one of the items he had previously agreed would be included in the deal (and which had been included by the salesman in both sets of sales documents). It was bad enough that the manager twice went back on the deal and changed the terms, but he was extremely unprofessional and YELLED at us both times. In fact, on the second occasion, he yelled that he was revoking the entire offer and told us to get out. When I took the paperwork that showed the terms they had promised, started yelling even louder to give back the paperwork, clearly in an effort to cover this tracks. The situation felt like a bait and switch as he agreed upon terms that he changed twice after agreement was reached. Needless to say, we did not buy from them. If you value integrity and professionalism and a smooth car-buying experience I highly recommend you go ELSEWHERE. read more

I really don't like doing this but they did not handle my registration situation well. My plates were supposed to be transferred and were not. I had to get new plates. Also, the passport I purchased only had 16,000 miles but the tires looked like they had 30,000 to 40,000 miles of wear and tear. The car failed inspection in NY. So now I have to get 4 new tires. I'm very disappointed with the post sale follow-up from DCH Honda. We went in to purchase our car which went smoothly and then everything seemed to stop there. As the expiration for our temporary plates approached we called to find out the status of the permanent ones. "They're not here yet" we were told and "NJ DMV is backed up" were the excuses we were given. After our calling regularly for the next two weeks we were finally told the plates were there and we could come up to get them. No calls from them and no explanations. It's now two and a half months later and we still do not have our Title. Same excuses and then sending us to voicemail and no call backs. After 2 weeks I finally gave up and went to DMV to drop $60.00 for a duplicate title. Needless to say we will not be taking our business to DCH in the future. read more

I did my research on the car I wanted and started seeing a couple of dealers. One of the dealers I went to was GSH dealer that my sister has leased a total of ten Honda Vehicles from them. Currently she drives the HR-V and both sons drive the Civic Hatchback. I figured they would provide and honest fair price being that I informed them about my sister's continued loyalty to them.
