Easiest car buying experience of my life. What a breathe of fresh air. I arrived at around 10am on Monday morning after July 4th weekend, I did not make an appointment . I was greeted by Gio who was my sales rep the entire time. I immediately was greeted, I let it be known I was looking to purchase a Model y and instantly was offered a test drive. The test drive was great, Gio took me for a drive using full self drive ( very cool nobody has anything near this) and then he let me go alone. The car was awesome! When I got back from the test drive I said let's do it let's wrap it up. This buying part of this was so damn easy, simple, quick and just refreshing. No bs , no price gauging the price on the website is the price you pay. I completed a finance form through the app, unfortunately they didn't have any model us available so I had to order one but this entire buying process took all of maybe 30 minutes, if that. I brought Payton's and w-2 documents for the loan, never even needed them. Normally car buying experience is long, draining and annoying. Filled with bs and lies. This was the exact opposite, it's like the Apple Store of cars. Gio was amazing and I cannot recommend him enough. Idk if these guys make a commission but Gio was top notch, no pressure at all to buy he was just a guy who seemed likes he loved Tesla and knew a lot about them. This is the main Tesla hub in Bergen county, that has demo drive, service area, super chargers and order pick ups. I scheduled a demo drive on a Saturday within an hour, showed up at the store and got to drive Model Y within few minutes. I just had to show my drivers license and I was handed the key card with some minor explanation. After my demo drive, I had to wait about 20 minutes to see an associate to return the key card and go over some questions. I waited another hour to see a 7-seat demo car but it never came. Our associate was knowledgeable and answered all the questions. You cannot buy a car from the store like a dealership. The store itself is very nice, you get the Tesla minimalistic vibe. There are few cars on display, including cybertruck. In another corner, associate help customers with custom order and some with picking up their delivery. They have a basic lounge that has coffee, tea and water. Overall I liked the store. Associates are friendly and looking to help customers. It's when there's a lot of customers in the store, it's hard to get hold off an associate. The entrance/parking is also a bit chaotic with customers parking their own car, driving the demo car and towing service bringing in the troubled cars. The superchargers here are often busy. Per one of the associates it is also not the beat as a lot of the power is consumed by the service center and the store. They suggest going to the two nearby superchargers stations on NJ-17. read more

This was my family's first time purchasing a Tesla. It was a different experience than ICE cars because the purchase process was completed through the Tesla app and email. We traded in our 2018 BMW X5, gas guzzler, and purchased the Model Y 7 seater. On delivery day, Christa, our advisor, was invaluable when we had to sign the final documents. We have Irish twin toddlers, and Christa helped us transfer our dual car seats from our trade-in to the Y. So far so good with the Model Y and the most amazing thing is the FSD, which is mind-blowing. Good job Elon! read more

Tommasina (Tommy) - the female representative that I spoke to in Service was AMAZING. She was professional, polite and very knowledgeable as to how to proceed with getting a computer diagnostic evaluation done. I had previously called Tesla Lawrenceville, Tesla New Brunswick and Tesla Springfield. None of them had a straightforward answer as to how I could proceed to get this done. Tommasina (sorry if spelling name incorrect) had addressed and was able to schedule me an appointment within 5-10 mins. Lawrenceville, NewBrunswick and Springfield clearly did not know how to proceed as they sent to appts that had to be cancelled because the New Brunswick location said they did not do that work and that I had to go to Lawrenceville or Springfield for the work. Lawrenceville ended up being impossible to get through and Springfield said that they didn't do the work either. Thank you Tommasina at Paramus for making lemonade out of a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Tesla. Came to see if we would have better success getting our trunk fixed at this location-and oh my goodness, what a difference between this location and the Springfied location. I can't believe we wasted months dealing with the Springfield location and the run around they gave us and the unprofessional staff-including their Management. Came into Paramus and it was a world of a difference. We didnt even have to wait long before they assured us they had the parts. They were able to completely fix our trunk when Springfield service center claimed we needed to go to a collision center after their botched up attempt to fix our trunk hinges. We dealt with Joseph & he was amazing from start to finish. He was pleasant and was able to get our trunk fixed without any issues. Thanks Joseph. My service expeirence at the Paramus location over the course of 6 years abd two Teslas (3 and S) is making me reconsider ever owning a Tesla again. Noone there really does their job. We are in the process of purchasing a Cybertruck from this location. BIG mistake not reading the reviews prior to beginning the process. Everything stated by other customers regarding lack of customer service and communications is SPOT on. No one returns calls. I have left 3 messages (one with a live person) for our original sales person, Jesse, who we had a good initial experience. Zippo calls back and we have a delivery scheduled in 3 days. My 91 year old dad was curious about the cars he was looking at in the public parking lot at a store off of Valley Health Road. When I stopped to show him an employee pulled up in his car. I didn't get his name so I will refer to him as "DICK." ... The first thing "DICK" says to us is that we have to leave. So I explained to "DICK" that I was just taking a picture. Keep in mind this is 4:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. We were not two guys dressed all in black in the middle of the night. I understand "DICK" is just a lot guy that they gave a little responsibility to, But I think it went to his head. I feel that you should remind "DICK" that everyone he is speaking to could be a potential customer and should be more respectful to people. I ordered a demo vehicle VIN 5YJ3E1EB3MF013136. I arrived at the Paramus NJ dealer to pick it up last week (Set 23, 2021). It had SIX scratches, the back window was scratched, and the hubcap was damaged (see pics). An employee named Raymond said, and I quote, "that's just normal wear and tear for a demo"! How stupid do the people working at this location think customers are? I refused to take the car. I talked to another higher up at Paramus named Lewis, who said they would buff out the scratches and fix the hubcap, but the window would need to be fixed. He promised this by today (Sept 30, 2021), the day I was rescheduled to pick it up after the initial debacle. I asked that Lweis take a picture of the fixes before I drive 2 hours to pick it up. He outright refused! Thankfully I called him before driving out to get what I hoped would be a repaired demo car (minus the cratched window). Thankfully I did. Lweis told me NOTHING was fixed! He NEVER called in advance to tell me this or give me any heads up. If I didn't proactively call him, I would have driven another 2 hours one-way, only to find that none of the promised work had been done. Telsa, as a company, should be embarrassed by the Paramus NJ dealership. Totally unprofessional, arrogant employees with an attitude of "So what if you are not satisfied. Our cars are in too much demand to care about any individual customer" attitude. Disgraceful. Lewis lied, never followed up to let me know nothing was fixed, and his arrogant attitude only made it worse. As of writing this, the car I was going to buy is now back on Tesla's website as an existing car to purchase, with no disclaimer whatsoever about the extensive damage. My friend bought a Tesla from them using my referral code. My friend was able to get the $1000 off on the purchase of his new Tesla Model 3, but I never received my Tesla credit for the referral. When I went to my local Tesla dealer and gave them my friend's information, they told me that he was using the Loyalty program and that he was a previous Tesla owner. My friend told me that was the first time ever owning a Tesla and the sales agent at the Paramus branch entered the information wrong. I should receive a credit for the referral but when I try to call and have the correct the situation, it has been impossible to get through to a live person to speak to. They are not very accessible and they have short changed existing Tesla customers. read more

I went to Tesla, just excited to take a look inside one of their Y series or honestly any Tesla to see what the interior looked like as well as the main console. When I got there and walked into the building it seemed like the two individuals sitting at the table weren't the most helpful. Horrible experience. Went in to test drive a Y but was met with a smug salesperson who simply said no cars were available. He offered no viable alternative to help us learn more about the car (albeit I did do my research online). In fact, as my wife and I walked around the lot looking at other customers' Teslas the sales person seemed to be making fun of us along with another salesperson. Ultimately, this poor customer experience alone is pushing me away from getting into a Tesla. Not to mention the service shop line was incredibly long with Teslas waiting to get into the parking lot. When I honked at one of these Tesla owners to get out of the way so I could park my car and get into the dealer building the owner just stared at me with the "What are you doing here?!" look as I was in my Toyota. This is a review specifically for my phone call with the service center agent Jordan today. While it took 10+ min to reach him, I appreciated that while on hold the automated system gave me a heads up of that, including when there was 5+ min remaining. Jordan was super helpful! Every question I had, he referred to whatever resources he had to try to give me a response and an accurate one at that instead of just brushing me off. Whatever he didn't know, he asked me to hold so he could ask a supervisor. Plus, every time he came back to the phone from hold, he used my first name to ask if I was still holding. I mean that is A+ phone etiquette in my opinion. Again, really appreciated that he went above and beyond to get me answers and use my name when referring to me. Maybe this seems like basic stuff, but clearly there isn't enough of this around so it's refreshing to get back to real values. read more

I had a wonderful experience at the Tesla showroom inside the Garden State Plaza mall. The associates there helped me choose the perfect Tesla Model S for my needs. Unfortunately the green paint went away in 2014, but that's to be expected. Their upcoming rides such as the Tesla Cybertruck and all new Tesla Roadster are something to consider in the future. They also like to blame each other for their mistakes: ex. i ended up waiting over an hour for delivery of my car while those who came after me were in and out within 20 minutes.
