I am absolutely furious with how this situation has been handled by Paramus Ram, and I would seriously warn anyone thinking about bringing their vehicle here for service. I bought my used Ram in January with around 35,000 miles on it. This past week, the truck started smoking and leaking antifreeze. After bringing it into the shop and going through a significant amount of troubleshooting, I was told the heater core needed to be replaced. Once the dashboard was pulled out and they were actually able to see the heater core assembly, they found something that honestly pissed me off even more than the $4,000+ repair bill. The heater core had clearly been replaced before, but the casing that was installed was cracked and broken in multiple spots. Instead of replacing the damaged casing properly, someone had tried to GLUE IT BACK TOGETHER IN THREE DIFFERENT PLACES and apparently thought that was good enough. I immediately pulled the Carfax and found that the previous owner had brought the truck to Paramus Ram last September at around 32,000 miles to have the heater core replaced. So this repair lasted a few thousand miles. I called Paramus Ram, explained exactly what was found, explained that their dealership was the one that performed the previous heater core repair, and gave them the opportunity to actually take some accountability for it. Their response was basically: too bad, you're the second owner, there's nothing we're going to do. That is what really sends me over the edge with this. I understand that I bought a used vehicle. I understand warranties have rules. What I do not understand is how a dealership can perform a repair, have the part later pulled apart and found cracked, broken and glued together in multiple places, and then completely wash their hands of it because the vehicle changed ownership. I'm now stuck paying over $4,000 to fix a problem that, based on what was found, very clearly traces back to the previous heater core repair. And apparently nobody at Paramus Ram thinks that deserves any type of accountability. I have photos of the damaged and glued casing, the Carfax showing the previous heater core repair at Paramus Ram, and the current repair documentation. I plan on making sure all of it is available anywhere I post this review. If this is the kind of work being done in their service department, and this is how they respond when someone brings an issue like this directly to their attention, I would not trust them with my vehicle again. Avoid Paramus Ram. I would not buy a vehicle from them, I would not buy parts from them, and I definitely would not let their service department touch my truck. Being handed a $4,000+ bill because a previously replaced heater core casing was apparently held together with glue is ridiculous enough. We will never go to this place again. In fact, our experience was so bad we will never buy a Chrysler, Jeep or Stellantis car ever again. The repair shop could not fix our car for over a month and never once gave a written estimate. What we thought would be a simple repair turned out to be more complicated than they could handle. They ended up sending an engineer out and he fixed it in less than a day. Shame on me for dealing with them for so long and not just pulling my car to go elsewhere. Watch out for them and try to not make my mistakes. The service representatives were nice to our faces and over the phone but I would not trust anything they say. I wanted to give 0 stars, I went to see a used vehicle which I did and made a deal with the salesman, then when I wanted to come purchase it the told me it was in the body shop. Two weeks later the salesman had no answers for me and the manager never came to see or talk to me. I now see its back online at a higher price. They're terrible businesspeople and I would never go back. So, before you get scammed and waste all your time GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Trust me I've been doing this a long time and multiple cars. I bought my 2022 jeep in October 2025 in less the 6 months I only put 2k miles on it Only taking it back and forth to work and the store. I got on the highway for an hr drive and got the death wobble. At least 4 times. I went back to jeep route 4 they ask if I had the extended warranty said it was all this front end work that needed to be done.waited 2 1/2 hrs My extended warranty denied the repair I continued to call and ask why they are not covering this repair. Left a number of messages it took for ever for them to get back to me. This went on for 6 weeks. Finally told me it would cost $695. Never called me to schedule an appointment. You know that saying "don't go to the dealerships for service.. they will scam you and up charge you for everything." I can confirm with this dealership that's 100 percent accurate. First off the service agent had an attitude when we didn't agree to a service due to pricing. Then he negotiated an amount that "my boss said can be this amount" which included multiple services. So we agreed to these services based on his "boss's agreed upon price". When the bill came, it was $400 over the agreed upon price. When the service agent was asked, he said he never agreed to certain services as part of the price which was a lie. Obviously if he had not offered that agreed upon price we would've gotten the services elsewhere. We got scammed big time. They gave me a 10k quote with some b.s manufacturer discount for a new engine on my 2021 Dodge Durango. My extended warranty was not honored they took it apart and tried to charge me to put it back together. I scheduled an oil change for 9am got there and they said my rear breaks and a water temperature/coolant was leaking. I was told every oil change they do is around 100-150$. what a rip off never again am I doing that at a dealership. But the fix for my coolant leaking was quoted for 1600 and was given $100 off which barely cover the taxes and fees. They also said it would be an additional $1,000 if I wanted to add the rear brakes in. Are they crazy! (They charge additional 3% use of credit cards). I was told it would be done in 2-3 hrs for the coolant leak fix only. The whole time I was there the coffee machine was broken. I have no idea why but to fix just the coolant issue it took 5-6 hours double what they said it would take. It was one of the worst times and most expensive things. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I recently received from Alan Rosenberg. I have been a loyal customer for 13 years, bringing both my and my wife's vehicles here for service. However, due to this recent experience, I will not be returning. My recent interaction with Alan Rosenberg was unacceptable. I experienced significant difficulties communicating with him and was increasingly concerned about the lack of progress being made on my vehicle. Over the past 30 days, I encountered numerous communication issues, including unanswered calls and text messages. These issues caused considerable frustration and unacceptable delays in the repair process. While I understand that everyone can be busy, it should never be necessary to consistently reach out to a supervisor simply to receive a response from an employee. To illustrate the extent of these communication failures, I have attached screenshots of my unanswered calls and text messages. I would give minus 0 stars if I could, these guys are incompetent, sketchy, scammers, thieves, liars and very disrespectful on top of it all. I brought my vehicle to them about 2 months ago for check engine light and they told me I need tune up & spark plugs, which I did already just the month before from a neighborhood dealership and they pretended it was not done properly or not done at all, I proceeded to get it done with them. Check engine light didn't go away tho they said it would disappear after I drive around with it, came back to them a couple weeks after (about less than a month ago) they said the vehicle needs coils change and spark plugs (yes again) and some other bullshit, so I told myself well ok let's just take care of it all at once and solve the problem. They (supposedl) proceeded to repairs and I paid another $1400 for that. mind you the previous service was about $600, so roughly $2000 down the drain so far cuz soon as they were finished with repairs, I could still see check engine light on my dashboard, customer specialist Alberto the guy I kept interacting with whenever I get over told me to take the vehicle away and bring it back if the problem persists. I started having some double thinking but thought to myself well let's see how it goes, maybe I'm just bugging but nooooo, after 3 weeks the same problems were still showing on the vehicle so since they said to bring it back if issues persists they would tear down the engine and perform a thorough inspection right ? so I made it over, dropped off the vehicle, they said it'll take some time but not to worry theyll take care of vehicle. About just an hour after dropping off the vehicle they sent me a notification about PCM to be replaced $800. Now I'm like that's very weird, in their diagnostic it says previous Misfire caused faulty PCM, but I do know rather a faulty PCM would cause misfire, not the opposit. So I told them you know what let me think about it. When picking up my vehicle, it was performing super weird, and my check engine light was flashing, it wouldn't go past 40mph. mind you when I dropped it off it was driving just fine except the light on the dashboar. So I took my vehicle to another another RAM dealership elsewher and explained that I took care of my vehicle but the same issue persiste so they reviewed previous procedures through ppw I provided from dodge dealership in Paramus and they did a diagnostic and told me well not only the problem is nothing to do with PCM that's one (they were already adamant it's not the pcm before taking in the vehicle to check tho they have the part). But also the problem has never been anything with spark plugs or coils, which also has NEVER been replaced cuz the same original factory parts that came with the vehicle are still there on it, never changed, and the replacement have never been registered in the system for them to see and confirm. So basically I paid money for parts that wasn't the problem and never replaced on the vehicle. the problem was to do with the cylinder. They took the vehicle on a road test to confirm diagnostic, performed repairs, did a new diagnostic and took the vehicle out on another road test. Everything came back ok. No more check engine light, vehicle was performling now immaculate as new. Now the question why these clowns from Paramus took my money and never worked on the vehicle ? So I went back to understand what actually happened and mister wanna be specialist Alberto sent me to Alex Vargas the " manager" to have an explanation. This Vargas one now started downtalking about the repairs done from the other dealership and pretended their diagnostic was the best blablabla and kept trying to throw in some weird disclaimers and since he was not seemingly finding anything good to say he went straight on telling me theyve done their job and there is nothing they want to talk about anymore, so basic im good to go f*** myself somewhere else now if I wish. To which suggestion I responded thank you. And now Im up to take all other measures needed to make them pay for this scam cuz thats exactly what they did. After being told we needed a new engine, the work was completed, but after only 268 miles the vehicle had major issues and was towed back. We were then given conflicting explanations, told the engine failed again, denied a loaner, and repeatedly refused paperwork related to our warranty claim. Communication was poor, phone calls went unanswered, and management was dismissive and unprofessional. We were even told different stories about why the engine failed and later discovered a restriction was placed on our VIN, preventing another Jeep dealership from helping us. Instead they sold me tires that have completely worn out and dangerous tires (1/32 and 3 are 4/32). Second i came there with pre-approved loan from but they lowered my credit report by making inquiries to ally (their bank) . Third, I called to complain about my tires, the sales manager (Milton) did not return my call for 3.days. Then when he finally called, he's angry and basically said he could not do anything. Took it in today to have my drivers seat looked at because the molding was loose around the buttons. Said it was not included in my warranty and needed to be replaced, but they didn't even see what was wrong because it was parked in the lot and not in the garage with a mechanic. This place lives up to its horrible reviews of both sales and service. I came in a few times before and thought this time would be different. I went in the other day for a coolant leak. I wasn't greeted by anyone as I walked into service. There was an advisor at every desk and not one said anything to me. My advisor was Alberto. Whom, at first seemed quiet and reserved until he found out I was a tech for over ten years. Then he just got very condescending and insulting. Our interaction showed that he had no knowledge of service nor warranty. My water pump went bad and I had told him that it was my water pump that needed replacing. The only reason I didn't change it myself is because it was covered under warranty. Everything was smooth. I came in the next day after waiting all day and night for someone to give me a call back and let me know what was going on. I had to call myself a few times and could not get thru. When I spoke to Alberto about this his exact response was "we're talking about your car now" as if it didn't matter that I*** had to make contact about my vehicle and the work being performed. I get a service notice on my phone about my car with a list of things I should replace. My water pump Being one of them along with my radiator and other things. In the notice a picture was taken of my windshield wipers and that I had to replace them. I thought this was interesting being that I hadn't received pictures of my water pump or radiator. When I spoke to Alberto about just doing my pump under warranty this is where is demeanor changed entirely. He became the typical condescending, pushy, selling advisor. He told me and I quote "IM NOT CHANGING YOUR PUMP UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE YOUR RADIATOR IS LEAKING AND ISNT UNDER WARRANTY" He then said if im a technician then why couldn't I find and fix the problem myself. Even after telling him about the warranty. I mean, his response didn't make sense at all. Mind you it's 6pm and I have no car and he's pushing me to approve or deny the repairs on my vehicle. I told him I won't give him an answer until the morning. The next morning I came in and went straight to the service manager MR. Vargas. All we needed was ten minutes to converse and fix the issue. He said he overheard my altercation with Alberto and approved my pump replacement under warranty because that's what should have been done from the beginning. The next day I come in to get my car and Alberto my service advisor had nothing to say to me other than good morning. I mean come on. Admit you were wrong and apologize like a man. Based off his performance and lies and other issues I've noticed with this place I will never come back. To be honest ALBERTO needs to be trained again or put into the parts department. Yes, Mr. Vargas rectified the problem but it shouldn't have gone that far. Service Employees need to be trained on everything warranty and hospitality. read more

I was here to get something looked at that should be covered under my extended warranty. After speaking with Alberto, he laid it all out to me before I went through with the process. That to me was exactly what I was looking for. No BS, no games. Just straight up. Since my issue was a recurring one I made the decision to go back to the dealership where I had originally had this looked at. Alberto needs ALOT of customer service training and should not be left unattended at the desk. He does not try to resolve any issues and lets the customer leave highly disappointed and shrugs his shoulders. Do not come here at all as clearly they need additional training with their staff and have staff who care about their customers. I was forced to pay in full for a repair that was 1. Not complete and 2. Partially covered by my extended warranty. I have reached out to the Better Business Bureau to confirm what I'm describing is considered unethical business practices and potential get involved in resolving the issue. Brought my jeep in to Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep of Paramus (CDJP) for a scheduled service along with a need to resolve a wobble with the vehicles steering. The dealership performed the service and identified the issue with the steering which required a new part be ordered. I was informed over the phone that part was ordered and I'd need to return on a later date to have the repair completed once the part arrived. Before closing I returned to pick up my vehicle. Before I was allowed to leave with my vehicle, I was forced to pay full amount of the invoice, including the service cost, insurance deductible and the insurance covered cost. Again, the full repair is not yet completed. I reluctantly paid and was instructed to reach out to the extended warranty provider for reimbursement. In talking to the extended warranty insurer, they informed me that they typically do not provide payment until after a repair is complete and it is not normal to do so otherwise. They also informed me that there was an open invoice from CDJP service department for the repair. Meaning the service dept was still looking to get paid from the insurance company even after I paid in full. My concern now is that the service department has their money and I may never get the part or the repair completed. CDJP provided no time table in which the part would come in or when I could return. (Fortunately my extended warranty insurer Allstate is understanding our accommodating in this situation) I would recommend everyone think twice about considering Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Paramus for repairs or services. If you are outside the standard manufacturer warranty, I suggest going to a more conventional mechanic. I will be emailing Jeep corporate and leaving a negative yelp review. read more

They do not answer my questions about the breakdown. They are very deceitful. I have spent 3 days calling them, texting them, and no one will go over the price I paid for the car and their mistakes. They will not give me the common courtesy because they know they did us wrong. It was a late night, and they rushed through all the paperwork without us realizing it, and now we are paying more for the car and warranties than we spoke about. If you read nothing else of my review, read this: Please know this dealer and its owner are NOT welcoming to service members and veterans using USAA or NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. We are an Amy National Guard veteran family using USAA and were given the run around while trying to purchase a vehicle from this dealer. Our car buying experience exceeded two weeks with back and forth of miss information and "policies" no one shared with us until it seemed convenient for the dealer to utilize. Finance work was first sent illegible and incomplete to USAA from the dealer, on second attempt the amount of purchase from the dealer was incorrect, and after USAA verifying that funds were transferred to the dealer, we were denied the ability to purchase our vehicle on the previously agreed upon date. This was all done a week in advance, but because no one was available on a Saturday to check that funds were received we could not purchase our vehicle in the agreed upon day. This is after USAA personally called finance to verify that the correct funds were transferred on the previous day in the middle of the day! Blame was spread around to everyone else when speaking to numerous different departments, and everyone was mocking and speaking ill mannered about the other. I am disgusted in the "policies" that do nothing but prevent service members from purchasing vehicles in a timely manner from this dealer. I thank all our veterans and active soldiers for their sacrifice and hardships endured by themselves and their families when answering the call to protect our country. Like everyone else said and I should have read the others reviews. Told me it would be 1hr for an oil change, took 3 hrs. Then they tried to upsell me on tire rotation, lubrication of door hinges etc. when I got the bill I noticed they charged me $7.00 for washer fluid which I didn't need. Really is this place THAT DESPERATE that they have to try every which way to rip you? Of course I'll never go back. This is hands down the worst experience I've encountered in any service setting. The service advisor, Anthony M., made several conflicting comments about the status of my vehicle. My dash camera was rolling the entire time and the footage told an entirely different story and time line of the progress of my vehicles repair. Even after my vehicle was completed and stating the alignment had be fixed, I'm driving down the road with a crooked steering wheel worse than when I brought the vehicle in. I checked the dash camera and the vehicle was never even test driven after the alignment. The alignment machine may say it's straight, but you still need to adjust the toe angle to make sure the steering wheel is centered! My car was in the shop for nearly three weeks and they claimed to not have any loaner vehicles available... This dealership prides themselves on being the biggest CDJR dealer in Bergen County, yet claim they only have 5 loaner cars available and that for three weeks, not a single loaner was returned. Having worked in the automotive industry for a decade myself, specifically in service, I know how much customer satisfaction index (CSI) matters, not only for the reputation, but these surveys corelate to financial incentives and performance goals. I asked my service advisor and the service manager, Alex, to try to make things right by repairing my vehicle so that I could leave a positive review, but they have not returned my calls even after 3 voicemail and 3 emails. Final word of advice for the advisor, Anthony. You seem to still be "green" as a service writer. You'll get along a lot further in your career by telling the truth instead of lying to your customers and blaming others if something doesn't go right. Your intentions seemed to be there, but lying to the customer to try to tell them what you think they want to hear isn't the way to succeed. Be truthful and straight forward. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We made an offer to buy a used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee 80th Anniversary Edition, We put a deposit on a vehicle to hold it while Bank of America had their check in the mail. We signed a contract that I submitted to my bank to cut the check. The day we went to go pick up the car, The dealer received the check. The dealer sold the vehicle to someone else. The car was gone and this is illegal and very unprofessional. All they could tell me is that they hold a car for 24-48 hours. The contract does not state this. The deal was done and signed. This has to be the worst transaction I ever had buying a car. The dealer gave me my check back and I had to call my bank to cancel the check. I have yet to receive my deposit back. read more

This is the worst dealer to go to. They don't assist you with fixing your car unless you fix 100 wrong other things your car has. The prices are insane and they tell you one thing at the beginning but when is time to pick up your car they tell you another thing. The people there are also no that friendly. read more
