Went back again and it's just as terrific as ever. I have recommended Stallion Auto Service to 3 people over the past year. Every one of them thanked me because of how good a job Stallion did and how what they charged was very fair. Stallion is only 20 minutes from where I live in Englewood and if it was an hour away, I'd still go there. read more

He replaced my brakes and warrantied them and the price was fair. He gave me a warranty on the brakes which I don't think other places would do that. read more

Always a great experience here! Super friendly family business, honest service, very knowledgeable, and they're always generous with discounts. You can tell they really appreciate their customers. Definitely recommend! They also always show me the bad parts that they replaced and show me exactly what went wrong. read more

Very Professional reliable they know what they're doing reasonable costs.A++++ best machanics around.

Terrible experience. I called a week in advance to book my appointment, took time off work, and when I arrived, Fady, the owner, greeted me with an attitude. He said they were too busy to work on my car now. I suggested he checks it and I'd pay for the necessary parts and bring it back tomorrow for him to work on it, but he rudely interrupted and said that's not how he operates. I ended up leaving. Very unprofessional and not recommended. read more

My neighbors recommend Stallion. Took my niece there to have them look at the bottom on her car that was damaged due running into a curb. They fixed it temporarily, so she could drive her car. She asked them if they could fix it. They ordered the part. Quoted a very reasonable rate, and had the car finished as promised. We definitely will be using them, again. I can't say enough about how nice and reliable they are. read more

Was recommended to this shop by a relative and decided to give them a try. I have a 2002 VW Jetta that I'm little by little restoring. The car keeps throwing error codes and showing the check engine light. After having a mechanic that is a close friend replace the engine and air conditioner fans, he noticed that afterwards, the Secondary Air/Smog Pump was not operating. I went on eBay and ordered an after market one but two weeks later codes came back, so I took it to Stallion Auto Service a family owned an operated primarily foreign car shop. After the mechanic hooked up his meter to my car, he said that his meter show that both the Secondary Air Pump and a chain in the Primary Belt area could be causing issues. Due to the pump being replaced recently recommended that I contact the seller and resolving that first, then returning with the car to re-evaluate the issue. There was also a vibration in the front end at higher speeds. All four tires were replaced by Firestone in Hackensack which included wheel balancing and Front End Adjustments. This was eight months ago and the car was not used as I spent three months in Florida. After the mechanic got the car on the lift, he called me to show me that the right Tie Rod was bent which was an issue. I wondered how Firestone could adjust the front end with this situation but quickly realized that I was scammed. For a reasonable charge of $123.00 the mechanics replaced the Tie Rod. I rate this shop as a Four out of five on the review chart. read more

Freddy is such a honest, trustworthy guy-owner. We all bring our cars/trucks there. I continue to recommend him to all our family and friends. read more

I have been to Stallion Auto Service two times, and Fadi and his team have been honest and good with repairs needed for my older model vehicle. As others have commented, Fadi and his team do a thorough inspection to identify components that should be replaced, then provide an honest and fair assessment on what should be done, and then complete repairs on time and at a reasonable price. I would recommend Stallion to anyone. read more

My older car needed work to be road-worthy. Freddy took care of everything. He's very professional, trustworthy and has reasonable prices. Freddy makes sure the job is done right. He wants the customer to leave happy. I wish I found Stallion Auto Service a long time ago. I highly recommend this place! read more

Well, two years later, I'm still happy here. This is the only place I've ever been where they will actually tell me if nothing is wrong, or if it is simply a matter of a small adjustment. Other mechanics I've been to would make up stuff, and charge a lot for it, or fail to fix the problem. I recommend Stallion to everyone I know. read more

This is a busy little auto shop in my neighborhood. The owner seems to be honest and straightforward. I twice sought work there - once for a transmission problem and once for machine work. In both cases, he referred me to another service shop rather than doing the work himself because he would rather I go straight to the source rather than take my money and send the car to these specialists himself for a "cut of the action". The places he sent me to were excellent and honest as well. I have since had him do work that he could perform on site and he was great. The work was excellent and very reasonable - much more reasonable than a dealer. He even accepted parts that I had gotten at a discount without so much as blinking. There is one caveat to this review. Keep in mind that I am well versed in auto repair and a guy. I would have done the repairs myself, but I am living in an apartment where working on one's car is verboten. I basically told him what I wanted done but left him some leeway if he found anything else. I can't predict how he would handle a less knowledgeable person or a woman, but I feel that he really took care of me. He has a lot of repeat customers, so he must be doing it right. I was thinking of giving him 4 stars he didn't provide a loaner and is so busy that it's hard to get an appointment, but that would be nitpicking. He is 5-star in my book! read more

THE BEST WITHOUT QUESTION! As most of you know, mechanics try to cheat vulnerable people (IE: I need this fixed, my car isn't running well can you help me solve the problem) since we don't know any better and when it's an emergency, are at liberty to spend what is necessary. I took my car to a few other shops when I lived in Little Ferry and NONE were as good as this place. They're extremely honest and do right by their customers, even if they leave a few bucks on the table that less professional shops could sucker out of a customer that doesn't know everything about cars. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended! read more

I have been a customer for over 6 years and could never think of going any where else. Fady from stallion auto is the last of his breed. he runs an honest and reliable shop...rest assure he can solve any issue in a short amount of time. Here is an example, I changed the struts on my car over nine months ago and recently one went bad. (manufacture defect). Anyway, I dropped it off late night and the car was done early morning. the car was repaired perfect and he stuck by warranty for parts and labor. so, it doesn't cost me anything to repair the car. thanks for being part of our community we couldn't have a better shop read more

Could be better for the money. Changed struts for no reason. Issue with clunking noise still there. Because I bought new parts of my choice and price, refused me of ANY warranty. Absurd. read more

Freedy is a very honest mechanic and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. I give stallion auto 5 starts all across the board good job guys keep up the great integrity you hold!! read more

Stallion is the absolute best in car repair. They get it done right, on time and for a good price, I have been going for years, there is no one better. I drive 20 miles to go there. read more

Seriously! This place REALLY earns the 5 stars! Small garage but very knowledgeable mechanics. But the priceless part is TRUST. As a single woman with an older car out of warranty, I was frustrated with the big chain auto service stations where I always left with a feeling of being taken advantage of and an empty wallet. Stallion's mechanics are courteous, straightforward, understanding and fair. I'm so glad I can finally say, "MY mechanic..." :-) read more

Took my car to my regular mechanic and he couldn't find what the problem was. He said all was ok, and sent me on my way home. But I knew it wasnt ok, and my mother suggested this shop since it's right next to her house. Fadi is amazing at what he does. He found a crack on a coil. He called me to tell me what it was, told me the price (which was very fair) and had it done within an hour. When I picked up the car he showed me the piece, explained everything thoroughly and made other suggestions. He even made sure he had my name written correctly and I received the proper receipts and scanner code documents (which believe me, many mechanics don't do). I was so excited when my car was no longer jolting from the misfires. He is knowledgeable, professional, and provides great customer service. I will be recommending him to all my friends and family. He will be replacing my previous mechanic. Thank you Fadi! read more

Freddy (Fadi) is great! My landlords recommended Stallion when we first moved in & I'm so glad they did! Many times I have come to Freddy with something minor (screwing on a license plate I couldn't get on by myself, flat tire, squealing belt, etc) that he would take a look at & either take care of it free of charge or if he couldn't do it (or do it inexpensively) he would recommend what I should do or where to go so that I would end up paying less. I used to take my car to Mavis for an oil change & they would always come up with some repair that sounded urgent & would cost a lot of money to fix. I would take it to Freddy for a second opinion & more often than not he would say nothing was wrong or it was a minor repair that could wait & he wouldn't even charge me for checking it out. The man is very trustworthy, I have never felt like he was scamming me or making up expensive repairs to make more money. He always walks me through everything he does & answers my questions with patience (given I don't know much about cars, which would be easy to take advantage of). I'm taking my car to Stallion for everything I can, I'm only going to Mavis for tire stuff that is under warranty read more

I would highly recommend Stallion. Fady and his team are knowledgeable, kind, honest, and respectable. This can be a rarity in a field where many others are looking to exploit your lack of auto knowledge for their financial again. Not, so here. They care about more than you're money. They focus on quality customer service and maintanence. Fady and his team have gone above and beyond since I found them and they put their customers first. I actually found this shop by accident when my transmission blew. They were helpful in assessing my car (no fee) and in writing down what to tell my dealer (where I ended up going to once I realized it was warranty covered). When I went back to Stallion approximately a month later for a routine oil change, they even took a look (complementary, not requested) at the repair that my dealer made and found that it was not fixed properly. They even took photos to explain what happened to me and then lifted my car so I could take photos to show my dealer who would need to correct it. If he didn't take a look at it, I would have gotten stuck again and not known why. I truley appreciate their service. They really do care about their customers and ensure that you are safe and taken care of. I have been satisfied with the maintanence they have done on my vehicle and am a returning customer. read more

Great service and team. They have my full trust and I'm glad to have found such a reputable auto shop nearby.

I don't usually write reviews, but the one star was so unfair I had say something. The guy brings his own parts and expects a warranty? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the concept. In any case, as you can see from the other reviews, Fady is a stand up guy and always on the level. Glad to have somebody like him I can trust. read more

Freddy (Fady) is easily one of the more honest and forthright business owners in the north jersey area. I have been going there for over three years, and not once have I ever had a doubt or a complaint about his work or the service he and his crew performed. You would do well for yourself to trust The folks at Stallion Auto. read more

I brought my car in to have my brakes check and they checked them however they got grease all of the inside of my car. I told him when I brought the car in that my prior experience with him they got grease all over the inside of my car and please do not let this happen again. However it went on deaf ears. read more

Stallion Auto Service is the only place I trust enough to bring my car. I used to only go to my Honda dealership, however after realizing how much they rip their customers off and don't actually care for the customer and their safety, I set off to find another mechanic that I would feel comfortable with and thankfully I came across Stallion. All of the mechanics are so kind and honest and always take the time to assess what is wrong and I never leave disappointed or feeling like I'm being ripped off. There has been a couple of times where I've gone thinking that something needed to be fixed, and the mechanics took the time to check everything and even test drove the car around to make sure everything was actually fine. Any other mechanic would make a problem out of nothing just to receive their cut. I highly recommend Stallion Auto Service to anyone looking for an honest and thorough mechanic! read more
