Honest, reliable and has a work ethic, which means he gets you your car back usually the same day

Very professional and friendly place . I know this place for about thirty years and service didn't change. Always good

USELESS went to have them repair and reinspect my older car for check engine light and they kept plugging in the tester and telling me drive a couple days and come back even when I asked to replace the sensors.... for over a month. YOU FIX CARS DON'T YOU? It's been over 2 months and I type this while my car sits at a Firestone service center....every return to Maple cost me money and time to get nothing fixed. read more

If you need a good repair shop with honest, reliable and hardworking people, this is the shop to go to! I've brought my car here twice already for repair and Frank has been nothing but a pleasure to work with. They schedule you in very fast and they always complete the work when they say that are going to. Also, their quotes are very reasonable! Definitely check them out if you need any repair to your car and ask for Frank! read more

Filled my low tire on Monday and noticed on Tuesday that it was bad again. Brought it to Maple Auto on the advice of my coworkers, and they had it repaired in no time! There was a screw lodged in the tire and they were able to remove it, plug the hole, remount the tire, and get me back on the road. Great, friendly service. Highly recommended. read more

Very fair prices and nice guys working there. I had them look at my brakes to see if I needed new ones, and they told me no. Many other places would have said, yes and replaced them even if they didn't need to be. I trust them. read more

First time customer. Very Good! I ran over a screw and tire was hissing. These guys were open so I flew over there. They were very busy. All bays were occupied. I pulled up, guy put down his tools, came over, told him I have a screw in my tire. Tells me " one sec". Plugged the tire. In and out in 10 minutes. Thumbs up! read more

I was in an emergency situation where I need the tire to be plugged asap. I called the other mechanics on the other side of the town but they said it was closing. I called Maple and the guys said to give them 15 min and will be able to assist me. I was there, guys greeted me, got the tire plugged, and paid all within 5 min. Great service guys. Thank you! read more

These guys are the absolute best mechanics around. Honest, Fair, Reasonable and Professional. You will never find a better place.

This is the best mechanic shop I have ever been to. Frank and Tom and his crew are the best people in town: honest, fairly priced for their job. I will not go anywhere but them. Thank you guys for all the jobs you have done on my car. read more

I've never met nicer, more knowledgeable, helpful, honest, or saintly mechanics than the guys that work here. I very highly recommend them.

This will be my go to mechanic from now on! I have a classic mustang convertible that was in in need of new brakes. I have been a muscle car owner along with my brothers since I'm a teenAger. I know what a job like this could cost, after calling a few places I'm getting ridiculous prices probably because it was a woman they were speaking with, I then decided to try Maple auto repair. I knew nothing about them, but on my way to work their parking lot was always filled constantly ! Always busy! then I saw reviews on yelp and that's when I decided that's who I'm going to try. When I got my price quote from Frank, who was absolutely so nice, it was even lower than I anticipated!! a great job! great guys clean shop very welcoming!! NOTE: any single women out there who need auto repair this is where I would go !! you will be safe you will pay an affordable price you will not get ripped off! NJ Vixen read more

This business is BOOMING! Traveling up and down River Road I have ALWAYS noticied that this shop is packed with cars. I was in need of new brakes so I decided to give Maple Auto Repair a shot. Being rather selective with automotive parts I purchased slotted high end rotors and brakes pads on my own. I then contacted the shop and spoke to Frank which agreed to install them and charge me for the labor. The rest is superior customer service, excellent work, and complete satisfaction. Frank is GREAT! It is without a doubt this man loves what he does, his business, and has upmost respect for his clients. The shop is organized and clean to the point where it doesn't look like a mechanic shop. The work was done to perfection and I will definitely make this the place to go for all the future automotive needs. Thanks! read more

These guys are the BEST! My daughter's car died close to their location. They went with me to try and jump the car. When they couldn't get it started, they brought it back to their place and by early this afternoon it was fixed! So trustworthy, kind, and they went out of their way to help. I am happy to be a new customer for life! Also will be recommending them to everyone I know! read more

I would recommend Maple to anyone - Tom and Frank are top notch. Prices are reasonable, they give estimates because they know what jobs cost and they don't suggest work to be done on your car just to get more money. You get what you pay for - these guys do great work and I trust them with my cars. read more

I have been going to the two brothers at maple auto repair for over 20 years. They are consistent, clean, accommodating and will do anything to make your service work for you and your schedule. I am shocked that no one has written a review for this amazing, amazing place! I am so sorry that I have not written this review earlier. The guys here will not tell you that you need 4 new tires, they are honest and will say.... You only need one!!!!!!!! Who does this in this day and age. Thank you, Maple auto for helping me over the years! Best always, Wanda from Elmwood Park. read more

Great local mechanic. I'm happy I found this place after not being treated well by a big chain shop. The owners are good people and they take time to listen to you and then explain what they can and can not do. Their prices are also very reasonable where they could prob over charge if they wanted to. Highly recommended if you are in the area. read more

Wow! such an honest mechanics. I love this business and feel totally in good hands. I must sound too good to be true but what can I say when I bring my car thinking there is a problem and they tell me all is good? That's it! They are my go to automotive repair shop forever! read more

Excellent service always costs less than expected work has always been A1. Have brought 3 different cars here. Always satisfied.

I don't know what these other reviewers are raving about I've been using maple auto for over 17 years they must be reviewing a maple auto in another state but these guys if it's not an oil change expect more than one day that's with an appointment. read more

Tom and Frank are the nicest mechanics ever. As a female, usually mechanics and car dealerships take you for a fool and will try to get you to either: A) buy more service, B) con you into thinking something is wrong or C) treat you poorly because you may or may not know automobiles. However, at Maple Auto, this is NOT the case. Tom, Frank and the rest of the mechanics are 100% honest. I have brought to them before notices of work from the car dealership and they have told me what parts were fine and what parts actually weren't. They're not expensive and their prices reflect their work ethic. I have had no issues with them and they always call you prior to doing work on your car so you know what the problem is and how much it will cost. They also call you to let you know when your car is complete and most of their repairs usually take one day. I am proud to support Maple Auto (even though it is a half hour away from me) and I hope that you will too! You will not regret it! read more

I brought my vehicle here because we needed a new alternator. After they put the alternator in the car, it started making a weird noise that it never had before i brought it there which was fishy. I brought it back to the mechanic after a week and he rubbed something under the hood which stopped it for the moment and said that if it kept making the noise to bring it back in and they would fix it free of charge. Sure enough shortly after, the car began to make the noise again. My wife brought the car and they told her it was the serpentine belt. After they told us that it would be fixed for free they charged my wife $160 for "labor" only as if they were doing us a favor. Eventually the noise would continue to get worse as time went on and i brought it back yet again asking about it. He plugged the diagnostics tester which is done from inside the car and no codes came up so he told me the car was fine and it wont die and not to worry. However, i went to another mechanic who told me that in order to test the alternator it would not come up from the diagnostics test inside the car and actually had to be done from under the hood. After doing so, sure enough he told me that the alternator was failing. I called maple auto and told them i got a second opinion and the person i was talking to said that he didn't't exactly believe someone else's opinion. He asked me what kind of test they did and i said they plugged the diagnostics under the hood and not inside the car. Long story short he told me to bring it in and did the test under the hood and said that it is in fact dying. Then he told me sorry that it was no longer under warranty which is only a year and i would have to pay for another new one. After this experience i can tell you that these people take advantage of innocent people who do not know much about cars and put their trust in this company. If they had done the proper diagnostics test a week after i brought the car back in, they would see that the alternator was faulty but they avoided doing that until my 1 year warranty was up and make me pay for another new one which came at the hefty price of $460 which is high for an alternator. Do yourself a favor and never bring your vehicle to this place. read more
