Dch Honda in Paramus has been very knowledgeable with assisting in leasing or buying a vehicle. Today I came in and was assisted by Hamad Deeb. He was very welcoming, friendly and helpful through me making a decision about my vehicle. He worked with me and explained options thoroughly. I liked that he didn't pressure one choice on me. He let me take the reigns on what essentially and realistically works best for me. You can't find that kind of service in other dealerships, I'm very pleased I initially chose Honda in Paramus. read more

I had a warning light (system charging problem) on, so I brought the vehicle in. You had it in your shop for two full days and returned the vehicle to me with the warning light still on. I drove it off the lot and returned it before I left your property. Only for them to take the vehicle back and magically removed the warning light. No explanation, no proof of actual work done. I take the car and later that evening the warning light turned on again. Same warning. So I drop off the vehicle a 3rd time at 7am the next day. No apologies, horrible customer service from frank. 6 hours go by and no phone calls, no updates. Nothing. I had to call and demand my vehicle back so I can pick up my daughter from school. Horrible, horrible service, horrible customer service. Charged me over $900 for what, no proof of any work done to the vehicle. Frank was rude, and acted like I was a nuisance. Never, ever will I go back. And I purchased two cars from this dealership, this is how they treat their customers. Unbelievable. read more

Terrible Maintenance service experience...twice. I have a 2106 Honda Fit I bought here 3 years ago, new. Up until a few months ago...service was ok. Then the pan covering the oil filter under the car falls down...because apparently someone doesn't care to put all the hardware in place. It then rattles, hitting the pavement and gets damaged. Last time this happened, they covered the parts...$137 and labor. This is poor workmanship thats costing me too many hours. read more

Visited in December 2021 for oil change. Noticed the plastic shield under the car partially fallen off due to missing screw and was scratching the ground a month later. Since I was only driving for grocery once a week during Covid, I did not notice earlier. Went to DCH Paramus Honda to repair and was told to pay $200 for parts. Clearly it was caused by inappropriate installation during oil change, but was told it may be caused by driving in storm and it cannot prove their responsibility. Although they patched up the cracked area with sponges, still I was extremely disappointed and utterly speechless to the service they provide, to the way they treat customers. Will not choose to return for service again. read more

Worked with John Tavarez, walked out with a 2022 HRV today and couldn't be more excited!

They advertise one price and have it set up to request a price quote electronically. Once one gives them information it sends you an email saying call for your quote.. once you call they ask you to come in and their price is very different from the internet. I purchased HR-V 2024 last week. This is the 3rd car I got in DCH Paramus Honda. This time Hamad was my salesman and he helped me to choose the right car for me. I had Honda Fit 2012 to trade in and was nervous to drive a bigger car, but he explained the features of HR-V very patiently and made me feel relaxed. Bought a car there in 1998 and when I took it in for the first service they stole a personal item out of the car . Swore I'd never go back. Fast forward 23 years later. I had my car towed there , asked them not to leave it outside because the window wouldn't close. Was told it wouldn't be, got the car back and there are signs it was left in the rain. Then I was told the part I needed was backordered. They kept the vehicle two weeks, found out it was because they had to fix and paint what they damaged. I can clearly see where it was repainted. But of course I have no way to prove it and they won't admit to it. So my advice to you is stay away they can't be trusted. read more

DO NOT DEAL WITH MS NEED FIND ANOTHER EMPLOYEE BETTER YET DEALERSHIP! I and my family have been a client of Honda since 2006! In all the years of having dealt with Honda I have never dealt with such unprofessional service. My brother went to take his car with an appointment for routine service and not even 5 minutes there he was greeted by Natasha Need..... now normally all prior experiences within my family with Honda were positive and pleasant except yesterday! She was rude and curt! I 'm not sure what her problem was or she just hates her job but just maybe she shouldn't deal with customer service! My husband had to wind up going down there because they were giving him a hard time as the car is in his name..... not sure how or why that matters because ive allowed my brother to take my car for service before! Since 2006 I have been leasing my cars through Honda and I've never dealt with such unprofessional behavior. It then became an argument between Ms. Need and her co worker over who would attend.... after several snarky remarks and bickering my family was told we can come pick up the car the next day today.... now we're being told the car won't be ready until Monday! Talk about horrible customer service! There is definitely no team work at this dealership! As close as this Honda is I prefer taking my business elsewhere.... there are currently 4 family members leasing in my family leasing Honda not sure we would ever recomend this dealership as a reflection of Ms. Need! She needs more training because dealing with clients is not her forte. read more

I was looking for a vehicle and got interested in one specific vehicle. I made the request to get the price and someone from their team called me promptly. It can be considered but for that I will have to come to the showroom to which I agreed under the assurance. After driving for more than an hour, I was shocked to be offered $10,000 markup on MSRP despite the discussions. They totally denied the previous conversation. Ok, so before I start, this is going to be a long review, but I have to thank my sales person, Dennis Estrada. He is very very patient. I went in looking for something completely different from what I actually came out with. He walked me through the whole process in a very thorough, and patient manner. After being there for many hours, and being a difficult customer, he not once gave up on me, found the right vehicle and was able to give me a good deal. Him and also the finance manager (which I honestly forgot his name) got me the bank with the best rate, and I walked out of there as a happy customer, with a good car, at a good price. I have been to other dealers (Honda as well) and not once, have I felt that they would prefer having you returning as a customer and selling quality rather than quantity. I would definitely recommend this dealership but most importantly, recommend Dennis, he knows what he is doing. It was my first time interacting with him, and I left out from there extremely pleased with his service. If you are reading this Dennis, thank you again. read more

Went there for a tire rotation and oil change. Left with my emergency brake a loose and wobbly. At the beginning, I paid no mind to it since it wasn't too bad, however about 2 weeks later, I was able to pull the emergency brake practically all the way up (over 12 clicks). I went back and was told that my rear caliper may be going bad. When I asked how was that possible on a car that is only 4 years old with less than 46k miles, they did not know how to respond and just said parts get old and brought up the "extended warranty" bs, which I am pretty sure still doesn't cover the caliper. Anyways, went back to try to get the problem fixed and they denied they did anything to the emergency brake, however, somehow they were able to adjust it just a bit. About 4 days later, the wobble and looseness came back, so its pretty obvious whatever they did was temporary and half-assed. During that week, I spoke to a mechanic whom I work with and was told that they most likely hyper-extended the emergency brake whenever they parked the car or rotated tire causing a misalignment in the braking system. Brought it to another mechanic and he confirmed the diagnose, further showing me where the problem may be. (Showed me how the cables were uneven under the parking brake console) They should take responsibility for their screw-ups and be more careful with people's cars. Many people pay these cars with hard work, sweat and tears to have someone "qualified" break them out of carelessness. Update: 5/25/2017 They have just refused to fix the parking brake that they broke. Spoke to Service Manager Bruce Laga and he just keeps saying that he stands next to his mechanics work, literally said he doesn't care what other mechanics that I have diagnosed the problem with have said. Goes to show the professionalism in this place. Everything is good until they break something. Then, all bets are off the table. First and last Honda I will ever buy, especially from this place. read more

This is now my 4th Honda lease, the first 3 being at a different dealership. Since then I had moved but also had a pretty lousy experience and decided to search elsewhere. Came through DCH Paramus Honda and met Daniel back in December. Long story short, it was not the right time for me to switch out of my lease. Nonetheless, Daniel was great in keeping a soft communication about every 6-8 weeks to touch base and see if anything had changed. Nothing crazy, just a nice "Hello, how are you" type of thing. Fast forward to this past week where we touched based via email and he already had notes from our previous meeting and a little back and forth, come this past Saturday morning and I am driving off in new 2017 Civic. Daniel was awesome. Super personable, not at all pushy about selling any additional products or features, and very mindful of me as a customer and what I needed and wanted out of the car and my overall experience. What I appreciated the most was that he treated this entire process as a long-term thing and not something short-term. I don't know that I have ever walked out of a dealer and still have communications with them even months after an initial meeting. I would highly recommend Daniel and DCH Paramus Honda to anyone on the market for a new or used vehicle. read more

On the pleasure scale I'd put buying a car somewhere between root canal and a colonoscopy. A real pain in the, er, neck. I was looking for a late model used car and was perusing dealer websites and came across what looked like a really nice 2016 Honda Civic with about 30k miles on it. So I got on the little chat bot and asked if it was still available. It was. I told the bot lady that I'd be there by 7:30 or so and, after she took my name, phone number and email address, I was assured that the car would be waiting. I pulled into the parking lot at precisely 7:40. I looked at my clock before I turned off my car. Anyway, I walked into the building and noticed there were an awful lot of empty desks and it was eerily quite. I don't know if anyone was actually in the building, but certainly no one was talking to me. Which is, you know, unusual for a car dealership. I walked around for a minute or two when I saw this, er, less than professional sign, printed on copy paper, informing me that, "[Their] brand new, state of the art showroom is just across the street from the building you're in." or words to that effect. As I'm walking out the door, in the rain I might add, my phone rings. On the phone was Tiffany (alias maybe?) the one actual bright spot in what is turning into a colossal waste of time. She was empathetic and commiserated with my plight and told me to meet her at reception...but never really told me how to get there. My fault I guess for not asking because there are apparently two reception areas. They were right. It is a beautiful showroom. So I walk up to what I thought was reception and there was an older lady working with someone and on the phone. While I'm waiting, a salesman came up to me and asked me if I was being helped. I said I was looking for Tiffany. He said, "Oh the 2016 Honda Civic. Progress! By now it's been about 15 minutes since I walked into the first building and, what, 20 minutes since you started reading this review. Anyhoo he tells me he'll be right back. BTW, no introduction. Never got this guy's name. No welcome to DCH Honda. Can I get you a cup of coffee, nothing. So he trundles off and I'm left waiting. Talking to myself. Not unusual. After a minute or two he comes back with the deal jacket (technical term I used to sell motorcycles) and says to me, "The car is in the service building, let's go take a drive." I said, "But the chat bot lady told me it would be waiting." And he was like, oh it's just across the street. Now in my head I'm channeling Lewis Black. To him I said, "Nope, you lost me." And as I'm walking away he was like "WAIT! Alan!" That was the first time, other than Tiffany, there was even a nod at an introduction. So I turned around. He said, "Give me 10 minutes. I'll drive over and bring the car back." I looked at my phone and said, "10 minutes." I waited 15 and then walked out. 20 minutes after I get a Voicemail, "Hi. This is DCH Honda just wanted to let you know you're Civic was here." Sheah, I'm buying a car from you. Now, if you come this far in the review you may be saying, and not without justification, "Geez, this guy's kind of a jerk." Yes and no. I wake up at 4:30 every morning like many of you. I work a 10 to 12 hour day, like many of you. I have to be in bed by 9:30 or I get cranky. So when a chat bot tells me a car that I might buy will be waiting, I don't think it's beyond the pale to be a little annoyed. By the time I left it was 8:30 and I had nothing but wasted gas to show for it. Thanks DCH Honda. Nice showroom. read more

I had such a great experience at DCH Paramus Honda and absolutely LOVE my stunning new 2025 HR-V! Hamad Deeb really went above & beyond throughout the entire process! I am a single girl who had a terrible experience at another dealership, so I was hesitant and nervous to go through the car buying process again, but Hamad was very understanding and patient with me and guided me each step of the way. He found the exact car I wanted in another town and arranged to have it brought in and even came into work on his day off so that I could get the car as soon as possible! He also spent a lot of time explaining each and every feature of the vehicle with me to ensure I knew how to properly use all the safety & entertainment features. I also can't thank mechanic Anthony Colon enough for all of his help & guidance with my former vehicle that I traded in and his advice on purchasing the new HR-V! I've never seen anything like this. They tried to sell me a car $5000 over MSRP. They tried to sell me a car that should be $34,500 out the door (at regular MSRP plus all state fees) for $41,600. When I called them out on it, they said: "well, cars are at a premium, we can charge as much over MSRP as we want. If you don't buy it, someone else will". I understand the supply is low and demand is high, I was even willing to go up to $1500 over MSRP, but the prices this dealership and the one in Union gave me is immoral. read more

We can't say enough great things about Paramus DCH Honda!!! We were not looking for a car, we wanted to know our trade in value for a car my fiance purchased which he hated, and discovered too late he payed 9k over blue book. He had also been ripped off 7k blue book on his trade in. He was in an emergent situation. Hamad was so patient, listening to my diatribe of this other unethical dealer, and didn't push us, he only listened to our needs. Well, we were so thrilled with both the new car and the trade in value of the other one, I had to go home and get my checkbook, because we seriously had not planned on buying that day. Hamad was transparent, honest, he worked with us and we truly feel we received ethical, and great treatment from everyone. Financing was effortless, even in this economy, and again, I can't say enough about Hamad!!. My fiance keeps saying I just love love love our new car. We are so happy!! Best to all at dch. read more

So last Monday my faithful 2004 Beetle finally died....or half died....no horn or turn signal...or headlights....or wipers but still could drive. I didn't feel like buying a helmet to buy groceries and my mechanic couldn't figure it out. It was time to say bye to Rawr Car. Now I know nothing about cars and have heard horrible things about car salesmen. My beetle was bought on ebay so I've never been to a dealership before even. (Yes I know I'm insane but I was successful.) But all I knew going into any dealership I had to keep my mouth shut (about our situation and the fact we were screwed without a car and needed something ASAP because I have a kid and upcoming appointments) and go in with a semi-plan. We knew the mileage we wanted, wanted Used within a certain year time frame, 4 doors, something between an SUV and a sedan in size and price range. We were not to budge from this. It was between Honda and Kia but I was advised heavily to go with Honda by friends and my mechanic so DCH Paramus Honda was first. We got LUCKY. The minute we got there, Freddy greeted us outside first. He was genuine, patient, informative and was the complete opposite of the typical car sales guy. He didn't push us into anything we didn't want and let us know every step of the process. Very down to earth and I recommend the hell out of him if you need a Honda. We ended up going with a Fit. The first one was bought out from under us that was perfect but that wasn't his fault. The second one was ours. I was pretty nervous about driving anything that wasn't my Beetle but I really am enjoying the Fit. It met most of my criteria. But yeah we lucked out with Freddy as our sales guy. And I'm grateful considering the time constraints we had and high need for a new car in our household. Thank you so much. read more

DCH Paramus Honda - My new ride - Car Dealers Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

I'm new to the area and have been shopping for a Honda dealer that had great customer service, and made me feel welcomed every time I came for service. I finally found it at Paramus Honda. I don't remember all the service reps names but i recognize them by face. I have been satisfied with the service for about 1.5 years now. However, things started to change. A couple of new faces working there. I made my appointment for 9:30 for scheduled service and arrived at 9am. I was taken care of by Natasha, and was told it would take about 2-2.5 hours. I mean, I know they were busy, but I thought the reason for appointments was that you have your guaranteed slot to get work done. So after inquiring, i was hit with a bunch of sassiness and attitude. First time this ever happened to me. I ended up waiting at the dealer of a little over 4 hours. In addition, on the invoice I noticed it said the oil grade was 0W-20. I went back to the counter to ask about the type of oil that was used bc that is the incorrect grade for my vehicle. She told me she didn't know the correct code to enter on the invoice so she decided to place a different code. So, at this point how could you trust what's being said to you? I have no idea whether she is telling me the truth or covering up a mistake. On top of all this, the bill came out to be $67?!? This also prompted me to ask whether they put in conventional or synthetic oil, was told it was conventional and that they just "increased their prices". Listen, this is oil, not gold; prices don't jump 2.5 times just like that. Instead of making a fuss and arguing, I bit the bullet on all this, and decided to make my voice heard here. I can no longer trust this dealership with their work, their ethics, or morals. I will be shopping for a different dealership to get my work done or may opt to do it myself. After shopping around I could purchase genuine Honda oil and oil filters from another source for a fraction of the price. read more

I said ok well can you at least was the car and they again said they wouldn't do that either. My salesman ralph was very nice, but this place has zero interest in customer service. I lost count but we're on our 4th or 5th lease with DCH Paramus Honda and I can't complain at all. Special thanks to Kadir who always takes good care of us. My wife and I laugh because we get a 3 year update on the families, but feels like we've been talking daily. I came here with my husband to look for a Honda Pilot to accommodate our growing family and the salesman essentially talked himself out of the sale. He was sexist and disrespectful to me the entire time - continually addressing my husband while ignoring me.
