cheddar melt pancakes and eggs

This place was recommended by the staff at albergo allegria and we are so grateful! What a quaint spot with a homey vibe. We ordered pancakes and wraps. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our whole group was satisfied. Service friendly and efficient despite having 1 server. Highly recommended if you're in the area

Such a great spot, def worth stopping by! Being a fan of the Wildair team, I was very excited to try this place out. We stopped by on a Monday for brunch and it was pretty quiet with some people coming in a bit later. The space is nicely decorated, pretty minimal but cozy. Everything in the menu sounded so good, it was hard to choose since we don't make it up here very often. My partner and I ended up sharing the breakfast wrap, cheddarmelt, and a side of hashbrowns. Everything was delicious! Portions were pretty generous, too. Service was friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend checking it out! Make sure to stop by Paracasa next door and try their cinnamon roll if available!

Really enjoy this little spot in a quiet town. We loved the homemade biscuits and gravy and the corn beef hash was delicious! The staff were all friendly and welcoming as well. Definitely a cute brunch place to go to!

Incredible food at Day June, including the corned beef hash, cheddar malt pancakes, breakfast wrap, BLT, club sandwich, French fry omelette and more.

Excellent Breakfast. Beyond expectation! Found this place off of reviews from a previous owner's restaurant, but feel lucky to have found a gem. Great service. Will be back.

Recently opened for breakfast and lunch in the former location of Nana Gails. Nice to see familar faces inside from Nana Gails. Breakfast and lunch served until 2pm. Recently renovated, but all the charm still there!

When their chef is not working the cooking duties are done by short order cooks. The quality of food diminishes accordingly.

I absolutely loved stopping here for our last breakfast in town before starting the long journey…read moreback. Coffees were delicious and strong and the breakfast burrito was truly the best breakfast burrito I think I've ever had. The space is so cute. I read on their website while planning the weekend that they are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and have live music on the weekends. It looks like they do it all. We stopped in early and had our choice of tables. The space is big, clean and perfectly calm. Great spot for a slow breakfast. After ordering at the counter, they brought everything over to our table. I got the oatmeal bowl. Delicious and simple. However, I couldn't help but steal many many bites of the breakfast burrito. Seriously, get it! A great spot with good food, a friendly team and a cozy vibe.

The Windham Local Public House is definitely a unique spot--part coffee bar, part Thai restaurant,…read morewith a laid-back atmosphere and friendly service. It's an unexpected combo, but it has a certain charm. I stopped in for coffee and pastries, both of which were pretty good. They also had live music while I was there, which added to the ambiance, though the performance could've been better. I didn't get a chance to try the Thai food this time around, but I'm definitely curious and planning to go back for that soon. It's an interesting place with potential!

My family spent several days at a rental home a mile or so from Gracie's and, naturally, had to…read moregive the local diner a try. Gracie's is an elevated diner experience...all the breakfast and brunch things you could want, but up a couple levels from a classic greasy spoon diner. Not dissing the greasy spoon diner experience...love that...but this is based in that historical experience, with an overall nicer experience in terms of food and atmosphere. Also, before we get into the specifics, here are 2 words which would bring me in from just about anywhere: Donut menu. Yes, they make their own donuts here, and that's enough reason to stop in, take out, or worship at the front door. We got our donuts to go after the meal...The coffee was GREAT. Too often, coffee, which should be the opening star of a diner experience, can be flavorless, browned water. Here it was good. Bold as I needed it to be, and the perfect foundation for the rest of the meal. My next go-to if they have it brunch experience is biscuits. They have them...you can get a biscuit on its own or, heck, go for a mini biscuit basket! I live for a biscuit-forward establishment. The Full Breakfast (submitting biscuit or potatoes for the meat) would have been my choice, but I decided to roll my own and ended up with a biscuit, fruit cup, and side of Hash Browns. The biscuit was good, large, and perfect with butter and honey. They make the hash browns to order - large hash brown patties - and with 2 different orders of them at the table, one was overcooked, too brown, and not impressive...but the other was perfect and delicious...bordering on potato pancake territory in presentation and flavor. Our server was fantastic...we had a large party encompassing 3 different tables in the middle of a Sunday morning (On Easter no less), which is, of course, the busiest time of the week. She was friendly, enthusiastic, and never made us feel rushed. If I found myself in the Hudson Valley again, Gracie's would be a definite destination for me.

Pleasantly surprised by this adorable roadside "diner" type of restaurant Gracie's Luncheonette…read more Very clean, fresh flowers on the tables, views of a huge stream and forest. Service was very friendly. We loved the avocado toast, the burger sliders, the tuna melt and the house made sodas! The food was fresh and you could tell it was made with care. Both tables and bar seating available. Plus they have a nice selection of beer!

Whether you're coming off a long day at Hunter Mountain or just passing through Windham, this spot perfectly balances a rustic, family-friendly atmosphere with a menu that doesn't cut corners. The Butcher Steaks: This isn't just a "chicken joint." They take their beef seriously, offering fresh-cut, flame-grilled steaks like the 24oz Ribeye and NY Strip. They even age their own steaks in-house when available, resulting in a tender, seasoned-to-perfection cut that rivals high-end steakhouses but at much friendlier "mountain prices." The Signature Fried Chicken: This is the restaurant's namesake for a reason. The chicken is consistently hot, crispy, and juicy. Pro tip: Get the combo that comes with their special honey sauce and "cornbread cake." Dipping the savory, salty skin into that honey is a game-changer. BBQ Ribs: If you're looking for "fall-off-the-bone," you found it. Their ribs are slow-cooked and slathered in a rich, tangy sauce that requires a stack of napkins and zero regrets. Save room--or just admit you're having a second dinner--for the homemade desserts. Their dessert bar and soft-serve ice cream are staples, but the real magic happens in the summer (or around the outdoor firepits) with their S'mores kits. It's the perfect way to cap off a mountain day. With a massive backyard featuring a firepit, live music on the weekends, and a "come as you are" dress code, it's easily the best spot for big groups. The service is fast, the portions are massive, and the "old-school country" energy makes you feel like a local the moment you walk in.

I had the ribs once and they weren't great either. I really want to see how they cook steak so I will probalby get it next time. I like Hazy IPAs, I wish they would get Westkill or something similar and replace Fiddlehead. Fiddlehead is old school NEIPA. The prices are very good and I the atmosphere is family oriented and very friendly IMO. Whenever I'm in Windham this is where I go. I like the bar a lot if you want to just hang out and enjoy the scene. The outdoor area is really nice too when its not winter. It is definetly the best value in Windham.
