We had a great breakfast at this place- definitely the highlight of our mini getaway. They update their menu and bring out the freshest of the season so make sure to check ahead if you are wondering what gems they are offering that day. They also use ingredients straight from their own gardens. The service was really nice too. Marianna also came to say hi to us and asked us how we liked our food. The food was absolutely delicious and we would come here again next time we are in the area.

Cute and relaxing spot for breakfast/lunch in Catskills. Servers were attentive and food was quite good. I was impressed by the COVID precautions as well.

    Creative menu that changes daily

A wonderful find. Incredibly fresh, local and curated ingredients and herbs from the garden behind the hotel. The execution of our breakfast was perfect. The presentation is beautiful and the owners are charming and engaging. The space is generous and cozy. Definitely not a diner, but a true gem for those who appreciate excellent food.

    Pancake sliders!

Breakfast was delicious! Christine was so pleasant and attentive. Highly recommended.

Remove this place from your website. We came here for breakfast and were told that they are not opened to the public.

I was really excited to come here during my weekend trip upstate. The food looked so good on what I…read morehad seen on social media. However, my expectations were not met. I got the breakfast wrap and the avocado was not ripe at all. There was also a lack of flavor. The pancakes were raw as well. I will give this place the benefit of the doubt because I arrived 30 mins before closing, but I was still very disappointed.

Sometimes these country establishments are hit or miss. I am happy to report back that this diner…read morewas a hit. I visited, hubs in tow, this past rainy Sunday. They had sold out of the Country Girl, which was the fried chicken and biscuits, so I opted for the sausage and biscuits with eggs, and hubs tried the lemon ricotta pancake with homemade blueberry jam. The eggs in the savory dish featured the creamy bright orange yolk I love from locally farmed chicken. Biscuit was a nice size and the gravy was meaty and tasty. I could have used a couple more spoonfuls though. The large pancakes were perfectly fluffy, and the jam (though they could have been more generous with the topping) was a perfect match. Good, solid, stick to your ribs food. Service was friendly and quick. Only miss was the acidic stale coffee that was likely sitting around for a couple of hours). I'd say prices are on the higher side, but still, a better deal and quality than the brunch at Babbler nearby, for example. I did some digging after lunch and learned that The Wildair/Contra team from NYC opened this place. So I'm not surprised that this place made a good impression. Will certainly be back!

The exterior is misleading & easy to pass by if you're not in the know - don't let it fool you! Breakfast is only served on weekends between 8 AM & 1 PM & we just happened to be there. Service was extra warm & welcoming - we had our pup with us & it was a not so great weekend weather wise & while we offered to order & sit outside at a table as to not disrupt other diners, they managed to put us in their back room so no one had to eat out in the cold (Pepper can't write her own review, but she says thank you, two paws up!) While the menu is small, one item is better than the next & you can't go wrong no matter what you choose! Prices are reasonable for everything you get & in today's economy, it's a rare find! The apple pancakes were to die for & honestly, the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! Fresh biscuits with maple butter (YUM!) Don't pass up on the extra creamy & delicious chocolate milk! Seriously - can I get an IV drip of that? This place is the embodiment of farm to table (obviously). Zero frills, but full authenticity of a working farm. Wonderful place & wonderful people. They have lots of their goods for sale too, so you can take Buck Hill Farm home with you! We bought their delicious bourbon maple syrup, fresh herbal tea, hot sauce, & took some ribs back to the house to grill for Father's Day! Plenty of full & happy bellies even after leaving the farm. After breakfast, swing by the chicken coop & thank the ladies for the delicious eggs! LOL We hope to visit again next time we are in the area!

We started with the short ribs, and I could have eaten those all night! They had a large list of specials including the veal parm my husband ordered, he was very pleased with it. The bolognese I got was delicious and very flavorful. Our drinks were also very good. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us a free dessert which was so nice of them! We got the apple bread pudding. It was the perfect end to dinner with an espresso martini.

We…read morestarted off dinner with a bottle of wine which we had questions about and the server went right to the bartender who was very knowledgeable about the flavor profiles of each wine we were inquiring about. We had the octopus dish and wedge salad as our appetizers which were an absolute hit. The chorizo complimented the octopus perfectly and the bacon was perfectly tender and crispy on the wedge. For our mains, we had the chicken teriyaki and the wild boar bolognese. The chicken teriyaki could have used one more element like a chili oil/crisp but otherwise it was amazing. The wild boar bolognese needed a bit of salt but otherwise paired beautifully with the pasta. We ended with an espresso martini and the star of the night, the coconut bread pudding. When I tell you this may have been the best dessert I've ever had, I'm not kidding! Cute and cozy place and a great meal for a special occasion or a just because!
