The Prattsville Diner is a wonderful place to dine - breakfast - lunch and dinner - and meet new people - love to all from Hollywood Joe - - see you soon - -

Classic diner fare, polite service, our eggs are perfect, the hash is crispy. And truth be told, I have to order their cornbread every time I go, even if I know I am going to be too full to finish it all. (I take it home for a snack) Cash only, but they have an arm machine. One day I want to go there for dinner and try the meatloaf. Also, get the corn nuggets for the table.

Delicious food and quick service. The waiter was a little rude but it's the food that mattered. When i went there wasn't many people there but the diner is small so i can imagine it gets pretty tight.

Eggs and hash (on the menu on the wall!) delicious! Would recommend getting the potatoes well done if you like them crunchy :)

Service is fast, menu is simple and the food is delicious. Love the benches to fit more people in a small space. Will definitely continue to come back for their laid back, country atmosphere.

I really enjoyed this dinner. I was in the area staying at a beautiful villa for the weekend while on a snowboarding trip. I ended up going here to get some food the day I arrive. I really like dinners because the normally have lots of different choices and this dinner sure did have options. They had so may specials that it was so hard to decide what to get. I enjoyed the food so much that I cane back again with a bunch of friends. I had the Chen wings the first time I went and the fried shrimp the second. They made a home made cocktail sauce and it was pretty good. I have never had it like that before. I will be try that again next time.

    The Original Breakfast Special

Had breakfast at Prattsville Diner on Saturday morning. A simple diner that serves up cheap and delicious breakfast food. Quality: Before heading out on a hike, decided to load up on a big breakfast. And Prattsville Diner's Original Breakfast Special was just that. Two eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, and a pancake, with a coffee as well. Everything was high quality and I especially enjoyed the addition of a pancake to the meal, giving an excuse to douse the plate in syrup. Quantity: The Original Breakfast Special will not leave you hungry. Value: $11.50 for the Original Breakfast Special. Ambiance: Prattsville Diner is a local diner in the Upstate New York town of Prattsville. Near the Catskills, this is a simple breakfast spot that caters to the folks that live in the area. They have booths and tables around the edges of the space and a seating bar along the back wall. A few arcade games sit in the corner to entertain any children guests. They also had random knick-knacks on the walls, ranging from a deer head to autumn-themed towels. Crowd: A steady supply for locals who stop by every weekend, or even more frequently, for breakfast and coffee. Service: Small town diner, where the staff is super friendly and genuine with everyone. Parking: A few spots out front and free street parking in the area.

Mad racist. And the food was exceptionally bad. The eggs and hash browns both were sour when I ordered.

Great vegetarian options and gluten free options for cakes. The blueberry olive oil cake and apple cake were both delicious, super moist and soft-- the crumbly top was delicious and not too sweet. The egg salad sandwich with arugula was very tasty-- the artisanal bread was fresh and the egg salad was so creamy and savory. It also comes on round milk bread. Love how the sandwiches come in half and full portions making it easy to try different ones. We also tried the curried carrot, sprouts, and cream cheese sandwich was equally delicious and fresh-- a great vegetarian option. The ham and Gruyère sandwich with sundried tomato aioli was excellent-- thick slices of ham and cheese, really well-balanced and satisfying. Friendly owner who makes these delicious sandwiches throughout the day. Can't wait to go back! There is a small round indoor table for seating for a few people but most of it is for take out, which we happily did.

We stopped here on the way to the airport and were immediately amazed with the customer service. John and Brady were phenomenal. We ordered the small Italian club with Chicken cutlet and the Vittorio. We also got a large Muffaletta with the olive salad on the side, pesto chips, mixed pickled veggies salad and a cannoli. We wanted to change since we were going to the airport so we had to use the restroom. That's where we encountered John. He is such a lovely man. He was so sweet and I enjoyed our conversation. My sister was throughly impressed with Brady's customer service. He made her feel at home and was very friendly. All of our food was good. They devoured the veggie salad on the car ride to the airport and we ate some of the sandwiches too. The portions are big and you can share. The 3 sandwiches we got were plenty for our family of 6 plus leftovers. Rossi Rosticceria Deli 45 S Clover St Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (Review 50 in 2025 and 893 overall)

It is located on a back street with not much activity, and I was able to find parking quickly, which is key when you are on a work break. As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.

Be sure to grab a carafe of water and cups at the bar. I went with the BTF Famous Onion Smash Burger ($14.35). It comes with cooked onions as the name suggests, jalapeños, mild cheddar, and garlic white sauce. It's easy enough to request to remove the onions and/or jalapeños. Each burger consists of two 1/4 lb patties which are prepared medium well, no changes there. These smash burgers were truly smashing! We also shared a basket of fries ($8.20), and they were piping hot and perfectly salted. The smashed burgers and salads were tempting. You order at the counter in this bustling little space and grab a table if you can. We ordered the vegetarian chopped cheese which has a strange seasoning on the soy curls; the chicken tenders were a hit; the baked mac and cheese was gobbled up; the fries were near perfect; but the veggie burger was blah. I make smashed veggie burgers at home, it's not hard to flatten the patty and add some seasoned salt. But this burger had two bland patties, a slice of tomato, and some wilted lettuce. Very sad. So although there were many happy meat-eating customers, they could definitely improve upon some of their vegetarian entrees.
