This has got to be the best food, people, and just all around awesome place to go. My husband and I have been going to the Breakfast Club since 2017 and have always had the best service. The owners are extremely friendly to me and my husband. It's a family run establishment which makes it super cozy there. I urge anyone who hasn't been here to make the small trek to Jefferson and stop at the Breakfast Club.

Came here for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint!! The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was better than I even imagined. We had a great time enjoying the place and having good conversation with everyone. Definitely try the frosted biscuit!! It was so delicious.

How should I start this review, well first gps is the only system that will either try to kill you or take you 45 mins out of your way and still tell you your on the fastest route, well today was one of those gps days, but it got me and my companion to this little gem of a place hidden in the Catskills! You come into Jefferson, ny a tiny farm town that is frozen in time, to a general store front which looks like it did when it was built, until you walk into a funky painted , modern cafe. The walls are painted black and the trim is electric green, but it's bight and airy even with the color choices. The menu was your normal diner offers a long with a specials such as crab meat stuffed French toast and tomato & basil roll-up. I had the corn beef hash and eggs and my companion had 2wo corn pancakes with sweet corn filling. The dishes came out I seen them first and I made the oh my god face, the pancakes were the size of my head and there was two of them on the plate. My dish was great the eggs where perfect and the hash was cooked like breakfast hash should be cooked, burnt edges and crunchy bits. I sampled the corn pancakes they had a sweet corn filling with candied walnuts it was eating a cornbread cake . If your ever just driving around or your gps takes you to oneonta, my for no reason but to add 45 mins to your drive somehow get onto route 10 to Jefferson, ny and hopefully amiee is working, she was a great hostess and waitress.

Review time kids!! Here it is Sunday, and the bride and I are offspring free(they're probably still in detention! Sorry I had to do it!) We start by looking for places out of our general area and stumbled upon this place! After mode of transport was chosen, we hopped on the bike for the 1-1/2 hour jaunt. This place would be difficult to find without the assistance of gps! Picture a New England farm town, without a stoplight. Now take the old general and convert it to this gem! Sitting porch and all!Enter and you will be instantly hungry! The the smell of fresh breakfast was almost intoxicating!! Greeted by what had to be one of the owners kids(I'll call him "Jr")we were seated promptly and served some very good coffee! Things did get a little sideways with us and "jr". After asking if they were serving lunch or breakfast he came off as pretentious and rude. That didn't work and we made it known. He bowed out of the picture, relinquishing us to another server. On to the reason we chose this place, the food! Starving we ordered an appetizer for breakfast ,a berry smooth flapjack roll up, this thing had to be a foot long and at least 4 inches in diameter! Stuffed with a jam-cream cheese filling.....so yummy! The bride went with sautéed crisp mozzarella and eggs with prosciutto. Man what a combo! I went for the sausage gravy and biscuits, homemade and savory, just awesome!!! The question here is, how in the world, is this place surviving in the middle of east nowhere ? The food is just that good!

Breakfast Stew. Turkey, Cheese, bacon omelet with cranberry sauce!

The exterior is misleading & easy to pass by if you're not in the know - don't let it fool you! Breakfast is only served on weekends between 8 AM & 1 PM & we just happened to be there. Service was extra warm & welcoming - we had our pup with us & it was a not so great weekend weather wise & while we offered to order & sit outside at a table as to not disrupt other diners, they managed to put us in their back room so no one had to eat out in the cold (Pepper can't write her own review, but she says thank you, two paws up!) While the menu is small, one item is better than the next & you can't go wrong no matter what you choose! Prices are reasonable for everything you get & in today's economy, it's a rare find! The apple pancakes were to die for & honestly, the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! Fresh biscuits with maple butter (YUM!) Don't pass up on the extra creamy & delicious chocolate milk! Seriously - can I get an IV drip of that? This place is the embodiment of farm to table (obviously). Zero frills, but full authenticity of a working farm. Wonderful place & wonderful people. They have lots of their goods for sale too, so you can take Buck Hill Farm home with you! We bought their delicious bourbon maple syrup, fresh herbal tea, hot sauce, & took some ribs back to the house to grill for Father's Day! Plenty of full & happy bellies even after leaving the farm. After breakfast, swing by the chicken coop & thank the ladies for the delicious eggs! LOL We hope to visit again next time we are in the area!

We walked out and stayed away for three years. Yesterday, we decided to give them another chance, so we went back. There was no sign or any indication in any of the daily Facebook publicity that the dining room was closed, and that meal service is takeout only. So we went around to the takeout window, which is NOT handicap accessible (steps only, no ramp), and stand on line to finally learn that the dinner would not be ready for at least 25 minutes (this was at 5:30 PM, not exactly an off hour for dinner service). Did they honestly expect my disabled husband to stand in the blazing summer sun for half an hour? (There were no seats available by the window). I knocked on the door of the dining room hoping we could at least sit down to wait, but they didn't even answer. We left, we will NEVER return, and I will make sure to tell everyone I know in this little town to stay away unless you actually want to be treated badly. I don't care if your food is cordon-bleu, no business should treat their customers with such disregard. I guess they think that, since they are the only restaurant in town that isn't a bar, it's okay to be rude and unaccommodating. We drove to Cobleskill and had a lovely meal at the Cowboy Taquieria on Main Street.

Other than the "specials" that the cook had just made allegedly, we were too scared to order anything other than an egg sandwich and a grilled cheese. I should have taken a picture of the grilled cheese. I don't think a school cafeteria would have served what was on the plate with a lone pickle at $4.25. Wife's egg sandwich was just edible. The waiter was very polite if that helps at all in this twilight zone. Owner offered some vegetarian ethnic stew to show how he catered to those with dietary needs. Cold potatoes and veggies. No idea what the dish could have been used for with the menu presented. Bathroom was right out of a gas station for cleanliness. Unless you are desperate - look elsewhere. The "open" flag out front was the only normal thing here. And cash only. We were looking to see what Stamford was like, I hope this is an exception.
