It is very charming and cozy; the tables feature small vases of fresh flowers, and everything is spotless. The staff is very polite. We ordered toast and could choose from a selection of toppings--whipped cheese and hot honey--which were incredibly delicious. They bake their own bread, and I highly recommend the cinnamon-raisin loaf. The one thing to know before visiting is that the wait times are very long; we waited an hour and a half for an omelet and toast. Also, they don't have Wi-Fi, so it's better to bring a book.

Tracy was the hostess/waitress and she was so friendly and constantly chatted with our son. While it took a while for our coffee to come (I'm assuming she was making a fresh pot!), our cups never got cold because she came around frequently asking if we needed warm-ups. The food took a while to come out, but it came out hot and delish! When we said crispy bacon, we got crispy bacon (and not the paper thin stuff, either!) This shop is what you would expect in France: no frills, traditional wood & glass cabinets, no unnecessary frosting or decorations on the pastries--just deliciousness. Stop in whenever you can. The only thing to note is that Antoine only accepts cash and Venmo, no credit cards, so be prepared to pay and pay well for his hard work.
