4&1/2..Vibes for days...It's hard to imagine one not being smitten by this picture perfect, beautifully restored vintage turn of the century set-piece worthy little all-day cafe, smack in the middle of what was a strong contender for the most postcard/storybook perfect little upstate town I visited in my recent treks trough the region this past fall. I've heard this little village has had among the most intense glow-ups of the post covid boom in the region and it sure shows. What was once a typically sleepy and stagnant, though still undeniably charming downtown common to the area when I last came through some 20-plus years ago now has all the hallmarks of an upscale, bespoke Brooklyn-north outpost, and this place is a perfect representation, though thankfully one that accentuates a positive example of such development that can serve and be appreciated by both the recent transplants as well as the longtime locals. This is thanks most crucially to the prices remaining happily reasonable and accessible to median income in the area, as opposed to raising prices to typical Brooklyn levels (like at the previously panned Phoenicia Diner). This is likely due to the fact that this place actually was established in the last decade, when, while the Brooklynification of the Catskills was certainly well under way, it had not yet been turbocharged to its insane post Covid levels. Food quality however was uniformly excellent, to the point that it would be a beloved neighborhood asset most any of us would love to have in our own hood. Everything I sampled on my lunch there, selected with the help of the thoughtful suggestions of my excellent server, tasted exceedingly fresh and clean, no doubt owing to the bounty of wonderful local ingredients from which the kitchen procures from. Each dish displayed some delightfully retro 90s era influences from the thick and creamy corn chowder, tasting brilliantly of peak late summer corn, to a bright and briny orzo salad, and the star of the meal, the unctuous, savory, perfectly seasoned umami bomb of a meatloaf pressed panini with the squishy pillowy meatloaf melding topped with gooey smokey provolone contrasted brilliantly with the crusty craggily pressed bread. It was a contender for best thing I had upstate and rivals any burger I had in 2025. Was a deeply satisfying lunch that left be deliciously satiated for my drive out of town through the glorious rolling Catskill Hills dreaming of a future opportunity for another visit. read more

coming from a small town, there aren't many places to eat/meet with friends. Blue Bee offered good treats and cozy atmosphere. However, after seeing how one of their employees post their feelings/beliefs, I no longer feel welcomed there. I shouldn't have to worry that my server will think that my children will play "victim" because they are biracial and have faced discrimination in the past. read more

So so good - generous sized fresh salads and sandwiches, made to order at the open kitchen/counter - partial to the turkey panini, the meatloaf sandwich and always the side kale or beet salad. What an amazing discovery we made this morning with this place!! The 3 egg omelette with ham, cheese and black olives was to die for!! I have never had such a flavorful omelette before and the olives were the perfect touch!! Wanted a cup of chamomile tea and was informed they had a blend and would I like that. OMG!! I had to go down the block and buy a bag of their Dream tea!! Even the toast was off the hook!! Highly recommend this establishment if you're in the area. Limited menu but everything sounded great. Wanted breakfast so that was limited to an egg, cheese and meat sandwich. They are so friendly and accommodating. They made some scrambled eggs for my granddaughter. Coffee was so big and delicious. Bakery looked awesome but will return for that. read more

I didn't like the goddess salad that I got because compared to my about a cup of chicken my salad, which was supposed to have come with avocado gave me about 2 tablespoons of avocado, a cup of walnuts, which was overwhelming, the cheese and other ingredients were under the lettuce, so I wasn't happy. read more

This is one of my most favorite places to go for lunch. They have the best soups and quiche. Today I ordered the Sausage and Pepper Panini. So delicious! It was topped with melted provolone which just made the sandwich so good! The staff are friendly and attentive and the have a delicious selection of teas and specialty coffee drinks. I like Blue Bee Cafe. It's exactly what it is - a small diner in the Catskills in a small town. Friendly staff and the breakfast here is good. We ordered a meatloaf sandwich that was really good - lots of meatloaf that was flavorful and tender and the coleslaw on the side was sooooo good! Bagel with loxs and tomato which was tasty and their tea selection is impressive. They have very cool teas to choose from so if you're a tea drinker - this is the spot. We didn't need a reservation to eat, but we showed up pretty early 10/11AM which is when it opens. Staff was very sweet and welcoming. Great spot for a casual breakfast. read more

Ordered 3 paninis for pickup. - 1 of "The melt" - turkey, bacon, provolone, tomato and mayo (great sandwich- would reorder if I'm back in town) - 2 of the Homemade grassfed meatloaf w mayo/tomato (Meatloaf was tender/juicy, however I was expecting a bit more spice/flavor. I wanted to add ketchup or hot sauce to this panini) Paninis are $9.95 each with a choice of side: coleslaw, potato salad, beet salad, kale or orzo. We had the potato salad which was FANTASTIC!!! Note- we tried to order the beet salad but unfortunately it was sold out by 1pm. So if you're looking to get the beet salad, apparently it's a hot commodity! Also ordered 3 cookies for dessert: 1- Choc chip- huge chunks of chocolate (pictured below), but the texture was a bit off. It felt a bit "sandy" and not chewy. 2- Peanut butter - just OK, nothing special 3- Oatmeal Raisin - in my opinion, this was the best cookie because of taste and texture Great customer service. read more

Decent little breakfast place with a nice, clean, quaint vibe. We shared the club sandwich and opted for the chicken salad for the meat. It was good but I probably would opt for the traditional turkey or the curry egg salad which sounds fun. The coleslaw was really good but had a strong flavor so while I enjoyed it I couldn't eat much of it. My daughter enjoyed her crepe with Nutella and fruit which she opted for without chocolate sauce on top. My niece got the same thing with the chocolate sauce but couldn't eat it because it was doused with too much of the sauce. The lobster bisque was pretty good as our appetizer. I wish it had a little more lobster flavor but it was nice as is. Overall we enjoyed our experience here. We noticed there is one lady in the kitchen that seems to be responsible for prepping and serving up the food for the entire restaurant. It was exhausting watching her but she seemed to keep up with everything just fine. read more

Came in here Saturday for a late lunch. OK, this place KNOWS how to do meal-sized salads. I had the Classic Bee salad with chicken salad. So. Good. Large and truly satisfying. The chicken salad was delicious; next time will try that on a sandwich. My husband had the Mexican salad; also great. Is it weird that I'm writing about salads for a cafe renowned for baked goods? If so, I don't care. Unfortunately, I had had baked goods earlier that day so was not going to be sampling from their beautiful display case. My husband had a blueberry scone, though, and was very happy with it. The coffee comes in big, ceramic mugs. Another touch I loved. Yes, yes, yes. We had such a great lunch at this beautiful restaurant. Located on Main Street in Delhi, NY. Easy to find parking on the street. The staff is friendly and the sole ‍ was amazing. Blue Bee is such a lovely spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch in Delhi! Definitely make sure to stop here if you're in Delhi! We ordered an omelette and crepe and I was able to substitute the side of potatoes and toast (that came with the omelette) for a side salad of beets! Delicious. The omelette was cooked perfectly and had ample filling of tomato, mozarella, and pesto. A tad bit oily, but not too bad. The crepe was ginormous and filling. Everything was so fresh!
