As others have said, super cute, local coffee roaster. Very quaintly set in an old firestation. Nice seating to hang out. Coffees we had and beans we bought were all nicely flavored. Worth a stop!

The coffee was strong but no bitter or overly sweet and creamy. And the steak quesadilla was sooo good. Did not expect much from a coffee shop but was pleasantly surprised with the food!

Total surprise on how awesome this place was being in a secluded location. The hot Apple chaider was amazing and the Brie Arson and Build A Basic were SO savory! Cute atmosphere too! Even bought a hunting beanie!

Sweet local coffee shop inside of a converted fire station. A true local gem to this quaint little town. High quality and fresh coffee beans are roasted on site. The menu is short and sweet but offers everything a true coffee lover would be looking for. Alternative milks and light food menu available. Interior is bright clean and inviting. Perfect for alone time, a meet up or a date. Don't miss the perfectly decorated restroom on your way out.

I love the esthetics of this place, Jesse and Sage were great hosts. The food and coffee/latte were delicious! I also enjoyed that they are dog friendly. 10/10 will definitely be back.

My wife ordered coffee, the coffee came with milk already in it, WAYYY more than she uses. We asked for another cup with milk on the side. I NEVER been to a diner who decides how much milk we will have. So, we each ordeted off the menu, and were told "we dont make that after 11am. So we ordered something else, and were tole " we stop making that at 10:30. Why in the world would they offer a menu, if theyre not going to make the food? I know 1 thing for sure, I will not be going back. Its sad when the gas station has more of a menu than the diner.

As for service, we had to wait at the counter for a few minutes while the workers talked. Then the person who finally came to help took a personal phone call on her cell phone and had us wait longer. The cleanliness is exactly what you would expect when you walk into a diner. My take on this place is, if you don't mind waiting to get service but want great donuts close, get there early and then wait for staff to stop talking with each other and taking phone personal calls to help you, you will get some great donuts. I was going to give a 3 star review but changed it to a 4 star because the donuts were that good.

They serve breakfast all day, so Meg had a Vegetable Omelet and I enjoyed a BLT my way, (Crisp bacon, American cheese, and plenty of mayo.) This is a good time to mention their himemade bread. Delicious, and you can take a loaf home if you wish. Meg said her Toasted Marshmallo Latte was delightful. My iced tea was exeĺlent. Whyy is that worth mentioning? Because far too many times in summer, too many places serve watered-down or over iced tea. Not at Butterfield's. Did I mention the Veggie Straws? You must try them. We are pet lovers and were hapy that there was a friendly Labradoodle on the deck with her attending humans. The food, drinks, service, and prices were all very good. I recommend Butterfield's to passers by, summer folks, and even to those who enjoy a road-trip for a meal like we do.

Came around at the perfect pace to make sure we were good but not overly intrusive. Menu is small which is great, has the basics you need for a lovely breakfast. I had to share it with all of you. My husband and I were driving home via route 17 after a weekend in Syracuse; we wanted to stop for a break at the 1/2 way point from our home. We were on Route 17 eastbound and I looked up where we could get coffee - 'The Catskills Coffee Lodge' came up and was only a few exits away. We got off at exit 94. It was directly off the highway - easy off route17 and easy on- perfect. This quaint coffee house was immaculate, well thought out, and accommodating. It serves all types of coffee, homemade sweet treats, as well as simple fresh/warm and cold meals. You can eat there or get it 'to go'. I ordered a customized cold brew coffee. It was perfect. My husband got a regular coffee as well as a delicious, freshly made, black bean egg wrap. The young woman Jess, along with her sister Jeanine are the owners of the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge'. Jess made my coffee (I didn't know that she was the owner at that time) but she was training a new employee on how to manage the coffee ordering station. Jess was patient and kind to her employee and made the young girl comfortable. It was nice to see that dynamic. I was so impressed with this beautiful, little place. The sisters - Jess who runs the front end, assisting customers, and Jeanine who is in the back making fresh delicious home-made food have a shared dream. One can see how much effort they've put into starting something dear to their hearts - may this business continue to grow. When I experience something like this, I feel it's important to spread the word. These young women have a gift to share. If you're traveling on Route 17 East, near exit 94 please visit the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge' ~ it will warm your heart.
