Such a cute lil cafe! Headed to the Finger Lakes and decided to stop here along the way. Great amount of space, relaxing music playing, and the staff was very friendly. It sits right on the river so we had gorgeous views of the rapids. I ordered a Vanilla Latte, Smores Cookies, and Sausage, Egg, and Cheese English Muffin. The vanilla latte was tasty and not too hot; the Smores cookie was pretty good, just a little crumbly; and the SEC had a really yummy habañero jelly that was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The muffin was a little crispy for my taste, but overall it was really lovely and fresh. Would definitely come back!!

A perfect Sunday morning on my way through the Catskills I stopped off at the Catskills Coffee Lodge. So glad I did. It's a nice town known for its trout fishing. Located just outside of downtown tucked by the river they are a wonderful coffee shop. A few souvenirs along with many coffee specials and treats. Plenty of space to sit down and enjoy. Wonderful and helpful staff.

Sunday 11/23/25 I've been on Yelp for many years. I don't remember ever writing a review, but the 'Catskills Coffee Lodge' showed me what dedication is all about. I had to share it with all of you. My husband and I were driving home via route 17 after a weekend in Syracuse; we wanted to stop for a break at the 1/2 way point from our home. We were on Route 17 eastbound and I looked up where we could get coffee - 'The Catskills Coffee Lodge' came up and was only a few exits away. We got off at exit 94. It was directly off the highway - easy off route17 and easy on- perfect. This quaint coffee house was immaculate, well thought out, and accommodating. It serves all types of coffee, homemade sweet treats, as well as simple fresh/warm and cold meals. You can eat there or get it 'to go'. I ordered a customized cold brew coffee. It was perfect. My husband got a regular coffee as well as a delicious, freshly made, black bean egg wrap. The young woman Jess, along with her sister Jeanine are the owners of the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge'. Jess made my coffee (I didn't know that she was the owner at that time) but she was training a new employee on how to manage the coffee ordering station. Jess was patient and kind to her employee and made the young girl comfortable. It was nice to see that dynamic. I was so impressed with this beautiful, little place. The sisters - Jess who runs the front end, assisting customers, and Jeanine who is in the back making fresh delicious home-made food have a shared dream. One can see how much effort they've put into starting something dear to their hearts - may this business continue to grow. When I experience something like this, I feel it's important to spread the word. These young women have a gift to share. If you're traveling on Route 17 East, near exit 94 please visit the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge' ~ it will warm your heart.

Tried a new place this past weekend, and found the most amazing space outside and in! Local and beautiful gift corner, clean and spacious dining area. A long list of delicious treats and hearty meals. Coffee was hot! Friendly service and they even asked me if all the desserts I ordered to go could touch in the bag (that you for considering allergens!).

A priceless gem! Food, Service and especially Ambiance one of the best locations in the region. The breakfast Quiches are outstanding! Flaky buttery and exceptionally tasty. I had to have a cookie and for sure will come back for more! Please keep this on this of must go to spot for coffee/tea and a bite. So inviting and warm decor I could stay there for hours.

Wow, what a find! Great little cafe, situated along a creek with indoor and outdoor seating. Had a latte and an egg sandwich with a sweet/spicy sauce. Fantastic! Will make this a regular stop for me on Rt 117.

Fast, great service. Cute little cabin. Bakery items are amazing and the cold brew was great! Best spot in the area.

Cute little cafe serving up some great coffee and delicious food. We spent about $40 for breakfast…read moreso I would consider it more than a to-go type of place. Unfortunately, the 3/5 stars is for (1) Not having any tap/filter water available. I bought water but it's just not a sustainable practice. (2) Not just not having a bathroom for customers but the attitude I got when I just inquired about both things... We were going to grab a couple cookies on the way out, but just ended up leaving.

4.5 A close friend…read moresuggested we take the 20-minute drive from the place we were staying to this spot, and it was well worth it. The place is well-lit, clean, and has a nice, chill vibe. The staff is super friendly, always smiling, and they all seem to enjoy being there. Food-wise, we got coffee, the Early Bird sandwich (sausage, egg, and cheddar on a biscuit), and another biscuit with jam (sorry, no pic). The biscuits are square, flaky, and buttery. The jam appeared to be homemade mixed berry, and it was really tasty. The SEC was also really good--pairing those buttery, flaky biscuits with sausage patties, cheddar, and egg made for breakfast perfection! If you're an avocado lover, the Early Bird should be your go-to, as they give you at least half an avocado. There are two drawbacks to the Walk In: 1) It's not a place with many seats. They have three tables and some counter space, so if you're planning to eat there, be warned. 2) I wish they had more bakery items besides biscuits, bagels, and cookies (which are also really good). They had a neon artwork of a croissant that wasn't lit up, so maybe they used to serve them but don't anymore? Overall, though, thumbs up! If you're ever in the Livingston Manor area, check them out.

The hotel itself is cozy, full of charming little spaces, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. It's pet-friendly (huge plus!), and everyone was incredibly kind to my dog--he had the best time exploring the hiking trails with me. The vibe is very relaxed, peaceful, and the perfect place to disconnect from the world. Now for the real star of the show: the food. We did the tasting menu and it was so good. I loved the intention behind each dish and how they highlighted seasonal ingredients and the local farm sources. My personal favorites were the mushroom dish and the venison--both were phenomenal. The staff was warm, attentive, and did a great job walking us through each course. A few small observations: The dining room was a little too dark--I love seeing my food, especially when it's so beautifully presented. Since it was my birthday, I expected a bit more than a lone candle. No cookie, treat, or even a candle placed on top of dessert--it just didn't feel special. Dessert wasn't for me. It was somewhere between a milkshake and ice cream, but with a strange mochi-like texture and an overpowering amount of lavender. It felt like eating soap. The quail course tasted amazing, but the presentation wasn't appealing. It looked a bit messy, and leaving the head on (even though it wasn't edible) felt off. That said, everything was incredible--thoughtfully crafted, delicious, and visually stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and the whole experience. Highly recommend--can't wait to return!

This review is for the restaurant only…read more Made a reservation for dinner on a weeknight. My party of 4 was a little early, so we had a drink in the tavern downstairs first; bartender made a great whisky sour. For dinner, we did the a la carte menu. I tried: + Cabbage + Ricotta toast + Grilled broccoli + Mangalista pork chop + Ricotta dumpling + Cheeseburger + Spiced cake The highlights were the cabbage, pork chop and burger. Overall I thought the food was excellent, though I wished they offered sides (especially some type of a potato for the burger). Would have gladly paid for additional sides a la carte.
