Sunday 11/23/25 I've been on Yelp for many years. I don't remember ever writing a review, but the 'Catskills Coffee Lodge' showed me what dedication is all about. I had to share it with all of you. My husband and I were driving home via route 17 after a weekend in Syracuse; we wanted to stop for a break at the 1/2 way point from our home. We were on Route 17 eastbound and I looked up where we could get coffee - 'The Catskills Coffee Lodge' came up and was only a few exits away. We got off at exit 94. It was directly off the highway - easy off route17 and easy on- perfect. This quaint coffee house was immaculate, well thought out, and accommodating. It serves all types of coffee, homemade sweet treats, as well as simple fresh/warm and cold meals. You can eat there or get it 'to go'. I ordered a customized cold brew coffee. It was perfect. My husband got a regular coffee as well as a delicious, freshly made, black bean egg wrap. The young woman Jess, along with her sister Jeanine are the owners of the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge'. Jess made my coffee (I didn't know that she was the owner at that time) but she was training a new employee on how to manage the coffee ordering station. Jess was patient and kind to her employee and made the young girl comfortable. It was nice to see that dynamic. I was so impressed with this beautiful, little place. The sisters - Jess who runs the front end, assisting customers, and Jeanine who is in the back making fresh delicious home-made food have a shared dream. One can see how much effort they've put into starting something dear to their hearts - may this business continue to grow. When I experience something like this, I feel it's important to spread the word. These young women have a gift to share. A great little coffee spot in the Catskills. It's located along side the willowemoc creek, which makes for the perfect photo op. This is one of the most tranquil and relaxing coffee shops I've ever been too. The staff is great, there's only a couple young girls working inside, who me made conversation with, and they told us they were in college and working at the shop part time. The shop offers a variety of coffee's and pastries, you can sit inside to enjoy your snacks while listening to the water crashing from the creek, or enjoy your coffee on the way. This has always been a spot we stop at during our week that we spend up here in the mountains. read more

Catskill Coffee Lodge in Roscoe is a cozy cafe nestled along the bank of the Willowemoc Creek serving yummy breakfast fare and specialty coffees. We tried the pumpkin spice lattes, the bean burrito, Fall quiche with butternut squash and fontina, Sausage Egg and Cheese, and Bacon Egg and Cheese (both prepared with house made English muffins and pepper jelly). This is amongst our favorite cafes we've ever had the pleasure to visit. The food was super tasty and the coffees were well crafted. Such a cute lil cafe! Headed to the Finger Lakes and decided to stop here along the way. Great amount of space, relaxing music playing, and the staff was very friendly. It sits right on the river so we had gorgeous views of the rapids. I ordered a Vanilla Latte, Smores Cookies, and Sausage, Egg, and Cheese English Muffin. The vanilla latte was tasty and not too hot; the Smores cookie was pretty good, just a little crumbly; and the SEC had a really yummy habañero jelly that was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. The muffin was a little crispy for my taste, but overall it was really lovely and fresh. Would definitely come back!! read more

A perfect Sunday morning on my way through the Catskills I stopped off at the Catskills Coffee Lodge. So glad I did. It's a nice town known for its trout fishing. Located just outside of downtown tucked by the river they are a wonderful coffee shop. A few souvenirs along with many coffee specials and treats. Plenty of space to sit down and enjoy. Tried a new place this past weekend, and found the most amazing space outside and in! Local and beautiful gift corner, clean and spacious dining area. A long list of delicious treats and hearty meals. Coffee was hot! Friendly service and they even asked me if all the desserts I ordered to go could touch in the bag (that you for considering allergens!). read more

This is the first time we visited the west side of the Carskills. We try to finalize goid coffee ships when we visit a new place. This coffee shop is fairly new to the Catskill area. The shop is very cozy yet very roomy with plenty of room to sit and even had a good meal. It was a season for pumpkin latte and was the best we have ever had. They used fresh pumpkin and fresh cinnamon to make the flavor. We were impressed with the flavor. The food meal was limited, but we have the Apple Brie with pickled onion and were well paired. It was fresh and delicious. They also have some Catkill souverior like pins, stickers, tees, sweatshirts, and even candles. We picked a pin as they have a unique design. Definitely visit again when we are in the area. read more

This place was a little disappointing for somewhere that caters to New Yorkers. The coffee wasn't great, and their black bean and egg sandwich was bland. Their baked goods were better. Their banana muffin was tasty and a decent size. read more

Awesome (not so little) Coffee shop. Two sisters, both graduates of the Culinary institute of America, veterans of the hospitality business have themselves a gem! The ambiance is spectacular, overlooking the Beaverkill river. This spacious, well appointed space (formerly a NAPA parts store) is so welcoming. Their high quality coffee at reasonable prices is the star for now. A small but delicious looking menu offers a glimpse of what is to come. I can't wait to try their food offerings.
