We were in Liberty NY for a concert at Bethel Woods. There were fast food options but decided on the diner instead. Coffee was hot, fresh and delicious. Service was quick and attentive we probably should have specified cinnamon French toast but the challah French toast was delicious. A side of bacon and home fries. Everything arrived perfect temp taste was pretty delicious! The decorations made me think every day was a holiday! The case of homemade cheesecake and cakes looked tempting but decided to pass! Will definitely stop again!

We got there late after a tournament and it was still pretty busy. The wait staff was attentive with multiple staff stopping by as they passed through the dining area. The food was cooked well and the table next to me had rave reviews of a number of items. The crepes looked fabulous. The old Greek diner I expected was eclipsed by the quality staff, but held on to the fair prices and good food I'd been expecting. The dish I ordered itself was fantastic, the picture is only half the portion as it was huge but it was good the second day as well. The NY style cheesecake was also fluffy and delicious but had to wait until late night as I was too full from dinner to have it at the diner.

We stopped in by happenstance as we were passing through....and wow -- so glad we did!!! Everything was outstanding. Delicious coffee. I had an omelette, my one daughter got a buffalo chicken wrap, my other daughter got a chicken BLT wrap and we ordered pumpkin French toast to share...so tasty. Friendly service and clean, nostalgic diner. Highly recommend.

It's amazing how we always find these local diners and small restaurants that consistently knock the ball out of the park and I see this after my first trip here. We were headed up to Rochester and wanted a place for a quick breakfast, not fast food. They are right off HWY 17 and within a minute we were here. Plenty of parking and there were plenty of cars here. Walked in and immediately greeted at the door and brought over to our booth (as requested.) This is a lovely diner with plenty of booth seating and a separate dining room with tables. Within seconds are very lovely waitress stopped by for drinks then the order. Egg sandwiches can out quickly and exactly how we ordered them. (As I said before, that doesn't always happen.). Coffee was good, hot and plentiful. I definitely recommend the Liberty Diner and look forward to our next visit here. KUDOs to the team at the Liberty diner.

Ordered a veggie omelette with mushrooms, Swiss cheese and onions. Very generous portion and omelette was cooked perfectly! The diner is very clean and a pleasant staff.

Stopped back for dinner on the way through. Great attentive service and had a wonderful Cuban Panini "new" to the menu.

Traveling through, my husband & I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Liberty Diner. The portions were large and we could have easily split a meal. The Mediterranean Panini was delicious with the sweet potato fries I've had in quite awhile. My husband enjoyed the Mega Beef Melt. We both had leftovers for an additional full meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. Interior decor was that of an old diner but exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. Easy on/off expressway. Ample off street parking.

A motorway emergency brought my family to this diner at a late hour, when all other non-fast-food eateries were closed. It was still bustling, signalling this place's popularity. The whole place gave off a warm air of home dining experience. The portions were unmistakably generous"diner" sizes! My vegetarian panini was delicious; I only ate half of it and the other half became next morning's breakfast. My son wolfed down his chicken sandwich. The only blemish was in husband's shrimp and avocado salad: the shrimps were undercooked. I took a few home and microwaved them to perfection the next day :-). Their fries were surprisingly nice - crispy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. The bathroom was pristine. We pass through Liberty on occasion, and sometimes even make a special trip to go antique shopping. Very happy to have discovered this culinary option!

The waitstaff here was absolutely lovely -- Our waitress shared how years ago she worked at a local camp and as we sat, counselors from the camp (including our son) were treated so well! The waitstaff seemed to know many who were coming in - and loads of locals were engaging easily. It's a diner so the fare is normal diner stuff -- I had the chicken salad plate with potato salad and cole slaw. My husband and son both had paninis. Everything came out at good speed and was solidly good. The diner was bright and had good lighting which yes, did make a difference in the experience.

In my opinion I stopped at the right place outstanding East Coast diner food was extremely tasty everything tasted fresh The place is very busy but the amount of noise is at a reasonable level The restaurant was extremely clean the bathrooms were extremely clean the waitress was very helpful very polite and when I needed more coffee or water she was right on spot The only problem I had was get bigger plates or make the portion smaller too much for one plate.

They are trying to charge New York City prices for local food, which is not that great to begin with.

The space inside feels about as wide as a railroad car but as homey as a local gem can get. The menu reads like a classic diner's, with everything from breakfast to dessert. I ordered the Hungry Man Special, which comes with a stack of pancakes, two eggs, bacon AND sausage, and home fries. For $16, this was an enormous value and practically a wealth of food. My husband ordered the chicken salad, and they were more than amenable to his ask for grilled chicken instead of the menu-standard crispy. The chicken was tender and cut into easy-to-eat strips. Everything was well cooked and got to our table within minutes of ordering. Service remained fantastic throughout, and judging from the friendly conversations around me, it's clear that there were lots of regulars and return visitors. Definitely step in if you're in the area and in search of dependably good food.

My visit on August 30, 2025, left me with the kind of satisfaction that only a solid diner experience can deliver--one that makes you want to return just to try more of the menu. To start, the garlic bread with marinara was exactly what you'd hope for in diner comfort food: warm, golden-brown edges with just the right crunch on the outside and a soft, buttery center. The garlic wasn't overwhelming, and dipping it into the tangy marinara added that classic, crave-worthy touch. It was the kind of simple appetizer that sets the right tone for what's to come. The Santa Fe Wrap was a highlight--grilled chicken cooked to a juicy tenderness, paired with creamy avocado that balanced beautifully against the smoky bacon. The cheddar added sharpness, while the lettuce and tomato kept it fresh and crisp. It's a hearty, flavor-packed wrap that manages to feel indulgent without being heavy, something you could happily order for either lunch or dinner. On the spicier side, the Buffalo Chicken Wrap brought a zesty kick. The buffalo sauce was bold and tangy, just spicy enough to wake up the taste buds without overwhelming them. The blue cheese inside mellowed the heat, adding a cool creaminess that tied the whole wrap together. Each bite felt satisfying, with the wrap itself holding everything neatly--a small detail, but an important one when you're eating something saucy and bold. Service throughout the meal was friendly and efficient, with staff that seemed genuinely attentive without being overbearing. The diner itself has that cozy, casual atmosphere you want in a local spot--welcoming and lively without being too noisy. Value-wise, the generous portions and solid flavors made the price point feel more than fair. Overall, I'd give New Munson Diner a strong 4 stars--a reliable, tasty stop with plenty of menu options to keep you coming back. The wraps in particular stand out as fresh, flavorful choices, and paired with a shareable appetizer like the garlic bread, you've got yourself a diner meal that's both comforting and satisfying.

When you're here you know what you're going to get out of the establishment. We were given seats at the bar promptly, we were served water early and were asked for our orders at a timely manner. Everyone behind the counter was helpful to us. As I admired their work it was easy to see how Tilly's has remained a local favorite. The continuous boots on the ground - foot traffic of bussing tables, serving food, taking orders - was all calculated chaos. At the heart of it all was the food that came at a reasonable time and the conversations you had with local neighbors and customers who sat near you. The French toast was delicious, not too sweet but the syrup was aplenty. The omelette was seasoned well, packed with flavor. However the potatoes were serviceable at best. We ordered the blueberry double-stacked pancakes (which the waitress sweetly put a smiley face on), a side of bacon, and a few omelettes- with bacon and cheese and another with sausage. Coffee for the grown-ups and a hot cocoa rounded things out perfectly. Friendly service, comforting food, and those little touches like the smiley face on the pancakes made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. A great spot for a relaxed breakfast.
