So since it opened, it was pretty good. The menu has increased, and the quality and quantity of the food has diminished Immensely the restaurant is usually dirty. The bathrooms are filthy and right above my table the other night i look up and I see a fly strip that is full and a dirty mop room behind the chair and nobody is cleaning and nobody is taking down the disgusting fly trap! Diverting my attention my food came. It was minimally. OK certainly not worth $17.95 worth of food and when...I asked for something that should've come with my meal in any other restaurant...I was told they don't have it‍ The owner came over but did not try to make it right he just walked away. I guess if you are there for eggs and pancakes, it's OK but their food in general is subpar and they need to clean their restaurant and their bathrooms. It started with us finding a restaurant that had outdoor seating to allow a dog as we were going to be heading back home from a camping trip with our Pup. It got even better when we got there to find we weren't exiled outside but in a covered indoor patio area. They were so nice, got our dog water and the food was really good. We had breakfast. The pancakes nice and fluffy and the over easy eggs were PERFECT. My sister got the corned beef hash and that was very good. The bacon and link sausage good but not like different just what you'd expect but the patty sausage had a kick of pepper and nice sage flavor. The iced tea was also very good and I kinda judge on a restaurant's ability to make fresh brewed unsweetened iced tea and we didn't even have to ask for lemon. We had just hiked in the Catskills with our foster dog. Through Yelp, with the "dog allowed" filter on, this is where we ended up. They were so nice to accommodate our foster dog and we even sat inside and they brought her water. Our server was excellent and the food was delicious. This was the second time we've been here (first time no dog). We will come back whenever we are hiking in the area. So much better than Yiasou Cafe down the road which has an outdoor eating area but refused to let us sit with our dog. read more

To say I was surprised to find this gem is an understatement. Thanks to Yelp I have uncovered my new favorite diner on my way to and from the Hudson Valley. Once inside this very cool old diner, we were warmly greeted and immediately felt at home. The menu is so extensive that if I ate here every day for a year, I think I would be able to have a different meal each day. Heck, if I lived nearby, I just might try that. At 12 pm on a Saturday, the place was lively and had a steady stream of happy diners. This is a real Greek diner with a real diner menu, including a Greek food section. To make it even more authentic, there is a case of assorted baked goods (huge cake slices, pies, parfaits and puddings). This place reminds me of my early life in NJ where Greek diners had the best food and nobody left hungry. I ordered the Greek sample platter which consisted of a fresh and feta laden Greek salad topped with fried cheese, pita, dolmas and falafel. I could only eat half since with my Yelp check-in, I got a large order of fries free! The fries were perfect...served hot and not greasy. Tasted like real potatoes. We had originally stopped at Liberty diner but as we were attempting to enter there was a line with people waiting to be sat and another line with many people waiting to pay. People were rolling their eyes and obviously frustrated. Another party came out as we were at door and said don't even bother - that she had been there over 2 hours and didn't get her food. The rest of the line looked at the outburst and shook head to concur. We then went down the street to New Munson diner and we're really pleased. The Greek salad was small portion for the price and didn't look like the picture. There was Feta cheese - but not a lot... not a log or huge block like in picture. The salad didn't have much lettuce and had 1 or 2 tomatoes and 1 sliced cucumber. For over $10, I would expect MUCH more. Luckily we ordered a club sandwich to split - the turkey bacon. It was really good and huge plus lots of fries on the side. Good portion and great taste and then the star of the show was the French toast with fresh fruit. The plate came out and I wish I had taken a picture. Bananas blueberries strawberry's were plentiful and covering beautifully cooked and large French toast pieces. It tasted as good as it looked and Syrup was tasty, too. Coffee was very good, food was good (besides the portion of salad), and the staff was stellar! Inside the restaurant was very small and tightly packed in table space is very limited. We all had the fresh made burgers they were supposed to Be there own beef mix , good but not better then my favorite diner in New Jersey broad st dinner in Keyport nj . My sister in law had the fish and chips . Which she said they were good . The best part of this spot was the staff was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. While the food was good and typical diner fare... holy hell the wait man! This diner is tucked a bit away from 17 and it is one of the smaller scale diners, not the turbo, 3-room variety. In thinking that, we figured two iced coffees and two orders of eggs would prob be a win-winas. Coffee came out but then we sat and waited for at least 30 mins for eggs. EGGS. Yes, it was a full house for the most part but there are only tables that fit 5 max and like I said, it's small beans in there so what the hell took so long?! In trying to get the check to bounce outta there, that took another 15 mins and two reminders to the waiter. I don't blame him though bc I realized he was flustered due to misplacing our paper, handwritten check. It was $28 and I gave him a ten-spot tip just for being there. This is a great little diner with fun decor, good service, and simple food at great prices. We go every couple of weeks for lunch. I usually get the burger or a caesar wrap with fries and have never had any complaints. The quality is consistent. The service is always friendly and fast, and we get a kick out of the Seinfeld decor. Only reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5 is that every time we're in there the owner is yelling at the servers. It's not easy to keep things running smoothly in a busy diner, but the servers do a great job and it's a bummer to see that they're treated like that! read more
