Simply amazing, fresh, delicious greek food, in a nice cozy setting. Service was very good, portions were absolutely huge and it's very authentic greek. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Some entrees come with a side greek salad that is absolutely huge and could be an entire meal. So good! Can't wait to go back!

I hate to do this, but the food was so disappointing, I have to warn others. Don't get me wrong. The service is friendly and attentive. The ambiance is really nice. When we got there on a Thursday around 2, the dining room had about 4 people there. There was also a bright outdoor seating area which looked great. Basically, this restaurant is set up to be a good experience -- except for the food. I had the falafel platter (almost $19). My husband had the gyro platter (an eye-popping $25!). My hubby shared his Greek salad and bread. A-OK so far, but then things went down hill. My falafel was mushy and flavorless. The side of babaganoush was also flavorless. The pita was cold. The side of steamed veggies was bland. No sauce, no seasonings. I felt sorry for locals who think this food is actually falafel. They need to taste REAL falafel because this was a poor imitation. The gyro plate came with plain rice and more steamed veggies. Sorry to use the word "bland" again. We got the salmon pasta to go ($34) for a friend which came with more steamed veggies. I get the feeling they steam a huge pot of veggies and just put it on every plate. The menu is pretty simple. The same things in different rearranged order. I get the feeling the "chef" is staying away from more complicated dishes. It's probably for the best, because as simple as the food is, it's still below par. I'm a Greek American. Been to Greece many times. Lived in Astoria Queens, in NYC, the center of Green Town USA. Eaten a lifetime of Greek food. And this is not it.

Stopped in with some friends for dinner around 7pm on a Friday. The restaurant was packed, but luckily a big table opened up when we got there so we didn't wait too long to get seated. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki and was surprisingly blown away by the side of Caesar salad. The dressing is homemade and it was delicious. Although the side salad was pretty big, it left me wanting more. It may have been one of the best Caesar salads I've had. The Chicken Souvlaki was solid. The chicken was tender, but nothing to write home about. I was disappointed by the side of plain boiled veggies. Big portions for every dish so I recommend sharing if you're not too hungry. If you can't decide what to order and love a good salad, I recommend going with the Caesar as your main dish. You won't regret it!

Once again the Gyro special never lets me down! They are delicious, fresh, and gigantic!!! Always a great place to eat authentic Greek food!

The folks running the place are incredibly friendly and genuinely accommodating. If they have the ingredients, they'll happily make something special just for you. We asked about an antipasto (not on the menu), and they created one on the spot--it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. The food here is fantastic across the board, but don't sleep on the mozzarella sticks. They're unassuming but honestly some of the best I've ever had--crispy on the outside, perfectly melty inside, and seasoned just right. Casa di Longobardi has that welcoming, family-run charm and cooks with heart. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is worth a stop. Highly recommend!

I had to share it with all of you. My husband and I were driving home via route 17 after a weekend in Syracuse; we wanted to stop for a break at the 1/2 way point from our home. We were on Route 17 eastbound and I looked up where we could get coffee - 'The Catskills Coffee Lodge' came up and was only a few exits away. We got off at exit 94. It was directly off the highway - easy off route17 and easy on- perfect. This quaint coffee house was immaculate, well thought out, and accommodating. It serves all types of coffee, homemade sweet treats, as well as simple fresh/warm and cold meals. You can eat there or get it 'to go'. I ordered a customized cold brew coffee. It was perfect. My husband got a regular coffee as well as a delicious, freshly made, black bean egg wrap. The young woman Jess, along with her sister Jeanine are the owners of the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge'. Jess made my coffee (I didn't know that she was the owner at that time) but she was training a new employee on how to manage the coffee ordering station. Jess was patient and kind to her employee and made the young girl comfortable. It was nice to see that dynamic. I was so impressed with this beautiful, little place. The sisters - Jess who runs the front end, assisting customers, and Jeanine who is in the back making fresh delicious home-made food have a shared dream. One can see how much effort they've put into starting something dear to their hearts - may this business continue to grow. When I experience something like this, I feel it's important to spread the word. These young women have a gift to share. If you're traveling on Route 17 East, near exit 94 please visit the 'Catskill Coffee Lodge' ~ it will warm your heart.

This is one of the most tranquil and relaxing coffee shops I've ever been too. The staff is great, there's only a couple young girls working inside, who me made conversation with, and they told us they were in college and working at the shop part time. The shop offers a variety of coffee's and pastries, you can sit inside to enjoy your snacks while listening to the water crashing from the creek, or enjoy your coffee on the way. This has always been a spot we stop at during our week that we spend up here in the mountains.
