Driving home from the east coast and looking for a spot to have lunch, we were so fortunate to discover the charming Cafe Wren! Our almond vanilla lattes were fantastic. The breakfast sandwiches - I had a Sammy and wife a Jammy - were some of the best I've ever had... all fresh ingredients and thoughtfully prepared. Service was welcoming and friendly, and a very artsy atmosphere with tons of cafe accoutrements like games, etc, to occupy you. There are various knickknacks for sale and a lovely patio. This is an adorable coffee shop that's quaint and comfy with indoor and outdoor seating. If I were to review this based on ambiance I'd give it a 4 star. However, I've given them a 3 star for several reasons. First, the shop does not have any fat free milk so all the coffee options only have whole milk or oat milk options. Next, the coffee cups are environmental friendly, which is lovely, but the lid begins to get soggy, dented and falls apart as you drink. The brewed coffee itself was weak and had a vinegar taste to it. I really would love to sit here and enjoy the coffee, but unfortunately I am disappointed with my experience. read more

Cafe Wren is an adorable charming coffee shop with fresh pastries and breakfast/lunch menu items. It feels comfortable and welcoming, like you're in your friend's living room. People are working and others are taking a break in their day. I ordered an iced coffee with vanilla and almond and an egg sammy. The sandwich was one of the best I've had for sure! Everything is sooo good! Loved the overnight oats it made my heart happy. I usually don't like avocado toast but the olive oil on the bread made my DAY! Had a delicious egg and bean burrito, and the latte was outstanding! Services was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Ambiance was just my style, funky wooden tables and window bar with stools, lots of lovely botanical prints framed on the walls, cool books to look. Some camping essentials, whole bean coffee, tinned fishes and other knickynacks for sale including local crafts. Just passing through town but it loooks like a nice little enclave! The avocado toast was fantastic! They also have non-dairy milk and several vegan options (including baked goods).

This place is cute and has great. atmosphere. But they are terribly understaffed and inefficient. We were there early on a weekend morning around 8am. One person was working the counter and making coffees, one person was working the kitchen. They both seemed to be working very hard, but oh my god, SOOOO slow. We ordered a breakfast burrito and some pastries and coffees. The espresso drink was made incorrectly, but we let it go. Our second drink was ordered hot but made cold. They clearly need a third person to work the register and plate pastries so the coffee person can focus. When we arrived, there was no line. It took 15 mins for them to make our drinks and when we left the counter there were 8 people in line. Pastries were solid. Breakfast burrito was good. Just come with some patience and grace. Coffee register person was very nice and apologetic. I would go back for sure, but only if I'm not in a rush! read more

What a fantastic new addition to Milford! This amazing cafe has some wonderful coffee, pastries, breakfast/brunch and lunch items, as well as serving as a vendor to sell local merchandise. Came here today for a light lunch and ended up staying a while. It's right next to Action Bikes, has a great vibe, good music, and solid coffee and food. So glad cafe wren opened and excited to support local. Delicious and well worth a trip, as well as a great place to get some work or reading done too. read more

Sweet little place that you might miss if you're not looking for it, even though it's on the side of a busy road. (It shares a space with a bike shop, look for that.) Great vibe inside with comfy seating. Shaded deck for sitting outside. The Egg Jammy was SPECTACULAR!
