    Famous Chip Chip Cookie!
    Christina S.

From the second I walked in, I knew I was going to love it here. I came here for lunch on a weekday and luckily got a parking spot right out front!! Once you walk in, you're immediately greeted by friendly and helpful staff, and even though I already knew what I wanted to order, they didn't hesitate to answer any questions that other customers had. I ordered the Chicken Salad (on sourdough), with a side salad, as well as the Famous Chip Chip Cookie. After I received my food, I found a spot at little table in the back where I read my book for a little bit. Around me was little displays of art, books, games, candles, antiques, etc, it was so lovely to sit and admire (even if I had nothing to read!)! The sandwich was incredibly fresh and flavorful and the sourdough had the perfect amount of crunch. Side salad was lovely and a perfect compliment. The cookie though -- the COOKIE was out of this d*mn world. Legit going to be dreaming about that cookie from now until forever. Once I was done with my meal, I wandered around a bit and took a peek upstairs -- just as cozy as downstairs, but a bit quieter (if you're looking for something like that), and many more tables, couches, chairs, etc, to make yourself at home. I can't wait to come back ... especially for that cookie!!

Adorable cafe combined with little shop. It's fun to look around at the quirky home decor but not sure I'd really ever buy something from the gift shop option. Love how they had local artists on display and local businesses. I ordered a vanilla oat-milk iced latte and it was definitely a strong coffee flavor and freshly brewed. Towards the end and on the bottom of the cup I noticed a lot of grounds and some coagulated pieces that came through the straw? Not sure if that was oatmilk or what but it was not a fun surprise when sipping my coffee that being said I'd still definitely come back and try other items as the staff was friendly and the vibes were great.

Such a cute cafe and store. It's always so unexpected in the middle of Port Jervis but so quaint. It's got hot and cold coffees and teas, pastries, sandwiches, and I love their gift sections. Well curated and unique finds! Everything from pantry items to cheese, outdoors stuff, and more. They also have storytime for kids, musicians, workshops and classes. Charming little spot!

Today was my first time at Foundry 42 and certainly not my last. Everything, from my London Fog beverage to my quiche and salad to the cranberry/orange muffin was simply delicious. The staff couldn't be more welcoming, even offering us a free ice cream sample. You'll definitely want to leave some time to peruse the beautiful shop both the main floor and upstairs. They have such a beautiful variety of home goods, furniture, books, bath and body products, handbags, jewelry and so much more . My mother in law bought me a beautiful Katie Loxton scarf here today, and I just can't wait for the fall to wear it. Know before you go: **Free street parking **Outside seating, and the chairs are really comfortable. **Story time for kids is every Wednesday & Saturday at 11:00 am. **Sundays are when they make their sticky buns. Just be sure to get there early.

Great matcha , ordered the stress relief latte and it's so good! I felt terrible and it perked me right back up. Hubby got chai and it's also amazing! Great boutique as well with a wonderful curated collection of items to buy. Employees are wonderful and friendly! Their rosemary croissant was also TOP notch

Most delicious chicken salad in a croissant ever! The salad as well - delicious! Ate every last morsel.

New Yorkers love their delis, and if just half of them are like this one, I can see why. JJ Delicatessen has an excellent assortment of meats, cheeses and dried goods, many from European countries like Germany and Poland. My girlfriend and I ordered sandwiches on a Saturday morning. We had to wait a little over twenty minutes, and the woman advised that next time we call our orders in ahead of time because the hot sandwiches take awhile. So that's your tip for the day. But they were worth waiting for. Fairly priced, excellent quality, and came with a few sides. I got the Polish sandwich special and my girlfriend got the Mediterranean sandwich special. There is a small seating area in the deli, but we took them with us and ate them in the car. It was a great lunch that we ate right before an afternoon of hiking at High Point State Park in NJ. Highly recommend this deli!

It seems like this is something of an institution and even for first-timers like us, it's not hard to see why. It's a European-leaning local deli that is clean, well stocked with interesting goodies, and that's is a cozy dining room in the front end of the shop. The two ladies we interacted with were fairly friendly and helpful, and after an agonising few minutes looking at the menu, we decided on the Polish and Italian sandwiches (vs heroes, which are bigger, cost a bit more, and are served on a roll). What I liked was the fresh tasting pickle that comes with the sandwich. In fact, the pickle may have been my favourite thing, period. The macaroni salad and potato salad were enjoyable if not particularly memorable. Now, the sandwiches. They look great, delicious even. We could tell they were made with care. From the first bite though, so I could think was, why's this SO salty? To this day, we're not sure what the culprit(s) were. Without the saltiness, I think they could have been delicious sandwiches. Perhaps this is how the locals like it. Maybe this is some sort of traditional way to prepare these sandwiches. All I know is that it traumatised my taste buds so much that I didn't have an appetite for another meal for the rest of the day. And of course I was quite thirsty for a few hours afterwards. I hope they keep improving and stay open for many more years.

Food was delicious. Breakfast buffet every morning was the best buffet I've ever had. My only con is that I feel like some of the things should've been included in the price versus having an extra fee. For example, there's a movie night option but it costs $45 per person...
