We have eaten here many times and would highly recommend it! They just changed up the dining room into a more cozy part of the lobby and I really liked it. Very inviting and cozy ambiance, the staff and service are wonderful, and the food is delicious! Great for families or couples. They have a very extensive kids menu as well but our little guy had the chicken gnocchi and loved it. And the best part is they give you kits to make s'mores after dinner in their fire pit. Also side note, half price all drinks and all apps until 6pm! Great Happy Hour!

Originally we were going to eat at one of the other high-end resorts, like the DeBruce or the Arnold house, but ended up staying here. The ambience is upbeat with a beautiful deck overlooking the woods along a secluded road. I was impressed that the seltzer was complimentary, as they have an in house set up with pouring a spout in the hotel where you can actually fill up your bottles as well as complementary s'mores so we didn't need dessert. The appetizer you can see above the quail over couscous could've been an entrée. It was delicious as well as the skillet crisped chicken dish that I had was not as impressed with the trout. Could've been better season but nice presentation. I also loved the callicoo cooler cocktail, Delicious!. Very pleasant experience I would highly recommend and the prices are reasonable for the area.

Definitely one of the best new restaurants in Sullivan County. My family and I came twice in the span of month (you can make a reservation on Resy) and tried most of the menu: Cocktails: + Lefty's deceiver + Zonker + Zug bug + Pink lady + Woolly bugger Apps/sides: + Fried cheese curds + Spring panzanella + Chopped green salad + Fritters + Pork belly + Roasted spring veggies Mains: + Mussels + Hills burger with fries + Gnocchi with braised rabbit ragout Desserts: + Lemon bar + Flourless chocolate cake In terms of the cocktails, my favorites are the Zonker, Pink Lady and Woolly Bugger - that last one is perfect for dessert. The cheese curds are probably the best thing on the entire menu here. Pork belly is also great. Sit outside on the deck if you can!

Food is okay but the vibe is definitely off. It's billed as a "friendly place for nice people" so we were expecting simple food in an unpretentious setting when we went in for dinner on a week night. It wasn't very busy and we had a reservation, but everyone we interacted with seemed annoyed that we were there. Cocktails took a while but were fine. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries and my husband had the burger. Our waiter noticed my husband wasn't eating his food and insisted on knowing why, so he told him the burger was totally raw but that we didn't want a replacement or to have it taken off the check or anything, so no worries. About 15 minutes later he came to the table with another raw burger. It wasn't just undercooked, it was seared and raw inside both times. We're not complainers and hate to make a fuss but the waiter made it a big production. He seemed especially pissed off that my husband wouldn't eat the second raw burger, and kept saying he would love it microwaved at home every time he walked by the table after that. My chicken sandwich was pretty good and the cocktails were okay. Overall a little overpriced for what you get and it's not a place I'd recommend to a friend. Had it not been for the vibe we'd probably give it another shot because, again, the food is mostly okay. Every kitchen has an off night now and then, but the overall experience was just too weird for us.

We had such an amazing time at the Conover Club. We ordered the Professor and Wickhams Fancy for drinks. We got the squash soup and the sweet potato for appetizers. We got the vegetable curry and the L'orange duck for entrees, both were very flavorful. The food and drinks were amazing. A lot of their spirits were locally sourced, like the gin and rye from Catskills provisions. We were here during one of the coldest weekends, the place was cozy and had a fire throughout to keep us warm. The service was on point and we had such an amazing time. Would definitely recommend this place for your next trip to Catskills!

This place was fantastic! The food was great with a really nice variety! The drinks are amazing! The staff is very nice and helpful. We have been several time and it is constantly good. Like so many places up here staffing is a major problem so leave the Long Island attitude at home and have a good time.

The pickled veggie and strawberries were such a treat.

Venue should consider closing to the public if they have a special event on the premise.

Library Lounge at Skytop Lodge feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way…read more From the moment you walk in, everything slows down. Dim lighting, big comfortable leather chairs, bookshelves lining the walls, a fully stocked bar, and historic photos throughout the space create a classic lodge vibe that feels timeless without being stuffy. It is cozy, polished, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in what they serve. The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. We sank into the chairs, talked story with friends, and lost track of time, which really says it all. If you are anywhere near Skytop Lodge, make sure this is on your list. Plan extra time, you will want to linger.

Once you walk into this rustic old home now converted into a cozy restaurant you immediately notice…read morethe character. The large wooden bar shows its age in the best way, giving off that classic, old-school feel. There are about 20 tables and roughly 10 or 15 bar stools in the main seating area. They do take reservations, and it's smart to make one if you want to guarantee a spot. We were greeted right away and served complimentary water and fresh sourdough bread with sea salt and olive oil. The sourdough was incredible honestly some of the best I've had. My wife ordered the chicken parm, which came in a large portion with fresh, house-made pasta. The sauce was excellent, truly one of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken cutlet was perfectly pounded, breaded, and crispy on the outside. I went with one of their standard pizzas a white pie with fresh garlic, honey, and other toppings that all worked beautifully together. Their sourdough pizza dough has been in the family for years from what we were told. The oven appears to be a brick oven (not sure if it's firewood or propane), but it has to be running at 1,000 degrees or more given the incredible crust. They also have a full bar with plenty of beer options. Parking is on a dirt lot across the street, with a small side lot as well. Service was excellent across the board. This is the type of spot that absolutely belongs on the TV show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I can't say enough about how much we loved the food.
