Stopped into FoJo Beans in Hamilton for a cappuccino and a breakfast snack to go. The service was friendly and quick and the space is light and welcoming. My cappuccino with an added pistachio flavor shot was perfect. I also tried the freshly baked spinach feta pastry, which was very mild and flakey. I will definitely be back to enjoy one of the many juice drinks and the shredded chicken salad sandwich! read more

Came here while stopping in the Colgate Bookstore and was amazed by the amount of options here. They had so many coffee options and different lattes such as chai and matcha. I got a chai latte and it was delicious! Some that I've had in the past were lacking in flavor and just tasted odd, however this one was so sharp with the taste of ginger and tasted great. Nice little coffee shop in the heart of Colgate's college town of Hamilton. Great ambiance and plenty of seating with several interesting choices on their menu. Coffee was great quality, met expectations. The Ruby Spiced latte, which features organic beet juice, cinnamon, and coconut milk, however, was... ok. The spice of the cinnamon and the tartness of the beet juice compete without any sweetness to round out the flavor. But they have a wide selection of other teas, drinks, and food that I'd happily stop by again the next time I'm in Hamilton. read more

I love this local coffee shop in Hamilton! The coffee is flavorful and always perfect! The last time we were there, my husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches! They were made to order and delicious! They were also accompanied with a unique choice of sides. I had the overnight oats. You have the option of seating inside or outside. The only downside was the wait for our order, but it was well worth the wait! read more

I haven't been to the retail location, but I've had many cups of their coffee while at a summer program at Colgate University, where they apparently subcontract the coffee out to FoJo Beans. It is really excellent coffee, even when drunk from one of those large coffee containers with a spigot. Even before arriving here, I had heard that the coffee was the one good thing in the cafeteria. My husband and I had a lovely lunch today at FoJo Beans Cafe in Hamilton NY. We walked in and were greeted like long lost friends.We took Dans recommendation and we both ordered the Tomato Basil Soup & Grilled Cheese. OMG, it was absolutely delicious and the little extra detail to plating a grilled cheese was perfect with a veggie curl & sprig of rosemary,it's the little things that make it special . We then indulged in their coffee cake & latte. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and the owners & staff couldn't have been nicer. We're already talking of our next visit. Goodness this was a delicious breakfast sammie! The customer service is always amazing, Dan as always, so kind and got me to try the shiitake mushroom bacon. So glad I did, it was SO good! Amazing cafe and coffee shop in beautiful Hamilton, NY. This place is truly unique with there coffee, tea, bakery and food options. Everything is made there, and that includes their coffee. They have great vegan, and vegetarian options, but also have food for meat eaters! My favorite meal so far is there smoked salmon tacos! Delicious!! The ambiance is perfect for students, or anyone with a laptop. It's definitely geared for the student population, but I've seen all ages eat here, including families. I haven't even mentioned there fantastic baked goods! Yum!! They have gluten free and vegan backed goods! Everything that they sell is from local farmers, bakers etc.! You should make a point to stop in when your in Hamilton! You won't be disappointed! read more

I LOVE this cafe. I have been here countless times. It's my choice study spot and I also love to come here to eat and chat with friends. Such a wonderful atmosphere and every single member of the staff is so kind. The kitchen is so accommodating to my dietary restrictions. There's many menu items to choose from and wonderful coffee/tea/hot chocolate... whatever floats your boat! I don't see how anyone could not give this place FIVE STARS!!!! read more

They did a really nice job on the overall decor and there is plenty of seating in two separate rooms (one of which is in the same room as the coffee roaster). We tried a wide array of food and coffee. The espressos, cortados and pour overs were all excellent. The stand outs for food were the pork sandwich and the cinnamon bun French toast. The staff was also incredibly friendly. The one opportunity for improvement is that they could add some juice options to their fridge for kids. read more

Lovely coffee shop with an ample selection of loose teas. You can get ice cream mochi as well - from 1 piece on up. Had a special here - chicken and biscuits - that was to die for. Sat outside in the sun, the food was quite delicious. They made a mistake on my sons burger and very quickly addressed it and gave him a fresh one. I go to Hamilton every two weeks and will have lunch here every time I go. Try the steak enchilada. read more

very rude service. went there with friends and were told that there was a 1 hour time limit on the table because they were busy - no problem. the people at the front said that somebody at the table needed to order food, so one of my friends did and we were told it was fine as long as one of us ordered food. the other 2 of us ordered $5+ coffees. before i even got the chance to finish my coffee, the owner came up to us and told us that we needed to order food to stay and within 10 minutes, he came over two more times. i apologized and said that we weren't aware all of us had to order food and that we would leave once our friend got the food she ordered because we came with her. he then proceeded to kick us out, even though i was barely done with the coffee i ordered and we were being very nice. i would be more understanding if we were told once we arrived or when we were ordering that all of us needed to order food in order to not be kicked out. it's a coffee shop and we thought that it would be okay for a couple of us to order coffee and sit (within the 1 hour limit we were told) while our friend ate the food she ordered. i used to be a regular customer, however, will not be going there again. read more
