Amazing food and service! The prices are reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get and the quality of the food.

I REALLY hate to give anything other than positive feedback as I know anyone can have a bad day and…read moreI may have caught them during a off moment. Having said that, here is my opinion on Fat Angus. The positive... The staff were friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was clean. Coffee was fresh and good, the orange juice was great The not-so positive. The food was "ok" at best. I ordered the all American... 3 eggs bacon and toast. My over medium eggs were tough and needed a knife to cut, the bacon was weird and chewy and didn't really taste like bacon and I got 1 slice of potato bread toast when I ordered "white" and the menu stated the meal came with 2 slices. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy, the gravy was hearty and delicious but tge biscuits were hard and crunchy despite being soaked in gravy. I hope this was just an off day for this establishment and I may be willing to give them another try IF I'm in the area, but I certainly would not go out of my way.

Besides the waitress not even coming back to see if we needed anything the WHOLE 30-40 minutes we waited and couldn't even get a new cup of coffee, I only spoke to her when I was cashing out and I told her about how horrible the food was she just said "OK". That was a birthday outing and it was disgusting.... Mostly disappointed we chose this restaurant to try and ended up wasting our money over eating at Taylor's or the Sherburne Inn where we know the food is edible! And you might want to clean your tables. The empty syrup container had dirt and hair stuck on the bottom of it!!!

The onion rings were pretty good, too. I gotta say for a place that kinda screams "overpriced", it really isn't. Came to almost exactly 50 dollars for two burgers with fries, order of onion rings, and a soft drink. Honestly? In this economy? Pretty fair for the size and quality. 6 dollars for a shake kinda surprised me too, albeit I didn't order one. Server was nice. Place was probably overstaffed, but pretty great experience overall. Very pleasantly surprised. Check it out.

The calm ambiance and muted, cinnamon-brown walls of the space's predecessor, Cafe at 407, which closed at the end of 2023, have been replaced with TVs in the dining area and bar, a wall-length mural and a little nook with a neon sign that reads "Say Cheese!" and Polaroids of satisfied customers pinned to the wall. The menu taps into childhood fast food nostalgia, with burgers, fries, onion rings and milkshakes -- plus beer, wine, cocktails and boozy sodas. With five burgers, two chicken sandwiches, two salads, a few shareable starters, Fly Bird chicken tenders, a Chicago-style glizzy and a fried fish sandwich served only on Fridays, the menu isn't long, but offers enough variation to appeal to most diners. The wife and I stopped in on a Saturday right at opening time. We were sat and given menus immediately. We decided to share a burger and fries and an order of tenders. We ordered the blue suede shoes - a burger topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, pickles and house remoulade and an order of hot stuff buffalo tenders. Our food was brought relatively quickly and we enjoyed everything. Fries were fresh, crispy and seasoned, burger was cooker perfectly, the tenders were fresh, crispy, saucy and had just the slightest kick of heat to them. Our server was very friendly and helpful, prices were comparable to similar restaurants, and we has plenty of food to bring home. We'd definitely go again.
