This was quite possibly the worst restaurant experience I have had in my five years of living in upstate New York. First , the hamburger was supposed to come with coleslaw ( completely out at 11:30 on a Saturday,so of course you have to buy a side.), second, bathroom with an out of order sign.(right),third and most important, the patty was obviously frozen and worse than any cafeteria. O'Neill's is horrible. If I wanted to eat in a take out container I could of paid far less for take out food I would of went elsewhere. . I ask for a plate I'm denied a plate. I thought the goal was to satisfy your customer?? That's definitely not the goal at O'Neil's. Help your self eat elsewhere. read more

O'Neill's is pretty unassuming from the outside, so you're not going in expecting some fancy brunch like you might get in Brooklyn. Should you be from Brooklyn. Perhaps your friend made you come out and help demo his front porch and you're a little hung over and in need of an omelet. Perhaps this friend of yours has no hot water, by the way, and that's why you smell super bad. Sorry about that, Brigid. Anyway, the point is this place overperforms on every level. Home fries are beautifully, simply seasoned and cooked, and that hollandaise is home made - on a weekday! - and just, like, everything we ate was twice as good as it had to be, you know? What a pleasant surprise. Next time I'm out that way, I'll consider a stop at O'Neill's a must. A shower would be great too. read more

Cute and comfy place with seating up to around 40 people. Was greeted right away by a friendly waitress who promptly took our order. Food came out at a reasonable time frame, and was cooked to order. I highly recommend the Irish breakfast. Wife had the French toast and sausage and it was very good. Coffee is average to good. Will definitely stop back for breakfast again or to try lunch. Only downside is they close at 230 if your doing lunch. read more

I found O'Neill's to be just average. I gave it a fair shot by going there several times, but I was consistently underwhelmed. I notice that the service is spotty depending on what day you go there, the servings are small, the choices are limited, and the coffee is awful. They also close at 2:30pm daily, so if you're looking for a late lunch or a brunch, forget it. Not a bad place, but nothing jumps out as being memorable or outstanding. Average. Good food and good service despite getting off in the wrong foot. Walked in with a party if six and my Maltese service dog. We were seated immediately and menus were brought to the table. I always carry my dog whenever we are in a restaurant or have her in a travel bag. I put her on my lap and a few minutes after we were there a waitress rudely came over to the table and told me I need to take my dog outside. Not in a nice way, not sorry animals aren't allows etc., just very nasty. I explained she was a service dog. She left and a few minutes later came back to say that other patrons were complaining about the dog and the manager wanted to know what the dog was for and see her certificate. Mind you the place is TINY and all of the other patrons greeted us so warmly when we walked in so I really doubt anyone complained. She left and another waitress came over to ask for our orders. At this point I didn't know if we were allowed to stay or what. No communication at all. But in the end we were allowed to stay. The food came out quickly and was actually quite good. I had a spinach and feta omelette with home fries and a side of corn beef hash. Everything tasted great and flavors were on point. Everyone in my party was happy with their food. The new waitress we had Bridgette, was very sweet and attentive. read more

O'neill's is a great spot for breakfast. My girlfriend and I ate here during our stay in Leeds. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. I had the Irish breakfast and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The portion was perfect, I ate every last bite and was left without an appetite. My girlfriend had the meatlovers omelet and she liked it. Again, the portion was just right. We will be back, and recommend for breakfast to any small groups in the area. read more

Atmosphere pleasant and country homey, service exemplary, coffee good, and if you have any inclination at all toward sausages, get the Irish Breakfast. Amazing is NOT how I would describe it. It's okay. Standard coffee shop. One of the waitresses is rude. And it sometimes smells like the floors were just bleached. I stopped going for political reasons. Yes vote for whomever you want but leave the sign out of your business. read more
