Rosalinda was awesome! I showed up to my appointment early for a bridesmaid dress. They were able to get me in as soon as possible. I just had my son a month ago- so I was unsure of my size. I also only have about 6 weeks until the wedding... so Rosalinda checked for the dresses that I would be able to get on time. She was sure to pull the sizes that I asked for. We talked about her kids and how she understands that your body is crazy after babies. I was able to find the right size and color in a dress that was on the floor. So I didnt even have to order. Overcrowded. Unprofessional. Less than enthusiastic. I'm done with this place. I have been into this store countless times--with friends, family, and most recently myself. Hoping to find some dress options quickly and reasonably priced, I decided to give it a try, and I really wish I hadn't. First off, the appointment was originally for my MOH to find dresses. However, due to a change in my schedule, I thought it might be smart to try on dresses while I was there with her and kill 2 birds with one stone. The rep on the phone booked our appointments at the same time, which we thought was great so we could stand next to each other in the dresses and see how we would look next to each other. Note to anyone who wants to try this in the future....don't. The consultant we had focused on me, the bride, while telling my MOH to go pull her own dresses. While other girls--eh'hem..bridezillas--might be flattered by this gesture, i was furious. My MOH was just as important as I was when it came to this appointment. When i interrupted and said "I'm sorry, aren't YOU supposed to help with that? I don't work here, and therefore don't know how your dresses are organized. How should she know what to do?" She explained there was a system and that if the MOH wanted to wait, she could help her when she was done finding my dresses. Um, no thank you. We don't have time for that, I--the bride--will help my friend since your lazy a** wouldn't. After pulling the dresses for my MOH, the consultant continued to pull dresses that didn't fit me, even after asking her not to bring them If they wouldn't fit. Not only that, but when describing my style and vision to her, she managed to pull ONE dress that was somewhere close--but wait, it didn't fit! After a few dresses and still being steamed about the situation with my MOH (her face said it all..i.e., she was she was uncomfortable, and was upset about how HER appointment turned into an appointment about me. Quickly getting change, and declining to purchase any of the dresses I tried on, we finally left David's Bridal, with NO desire to go back. While their prices are great, their service is AWFUL and just isn't worth the aggravation. I'd compare David's Bridal to the Wal-Mart of wedding dress shopping. I'd much rather pay a little more for a better service and experience than pay less and get treated like dirt. It's your choice, but if I were you, I'd decide against it. read more

I just picked up my dress after getting the alterations done. The front house staff were friendly and helpful in escorting me to the alterations department. As a nurse I appreciate the fact that all staff were wearing masks or face shields. The head seamstress Elenica did an amazing job and my dress fit like a glove and looked terrific! So needless to say I am very pleased with the final product. One less thing to worry about as my wedding is only 5 weeks away. I will definitely recommend this store to my friends and family. I recommend that you do NOT waste your time walking into the David's Bridal Store in Phoenix (Ahwatukee Foothills). I tried to return a pair of shoes that were bought at a store in Peoria, Illinois (they didn't have them in the store so I paid for them and the Peoria store had them shipped to me in Arizona). The Peoria, IL store assured me that I could return them in Arizona for a refund if they didn't fit. When I went to return them to the Ahwatukee store, I was told I could not get a refund because the sales receipt was dated more than 7 days prior. I explained to the manager that I just received them within the past couple days and could not have returned them within 7 days of purchased because I had not actually "received them in the mail". She told me my only option was to receive store credit. Save yourself a headache and stress and don't waste your time here. Actually, stop by Brilliant Bridal, their customer service is phenomenal! Update: Ardienne from the Peoria, Illinois David's Bridal store stepped up and processed my refund for the shoes through her store. If you are in Peoria, Illinois, I would recommend the store there but stay away from the Arizona stores (including the Scottsdale one too - my friend had a terrible experience at there). read more

They don't have dresses in the store that they have on line. Don't get your hopes up, they didn't even bother to let Me know if or when the dress I found on line would be in. I went in yesterday after visiting a few other boutiques. For my first appointment, I worked with Haley (not sure if that's how it's spelled!) and she was awesome. Came back a few hours later in a fit of indecision, and they were able to get me in for a second appointment with Nikki. Both women were fantastic, let me try on as many dresses as I needed to, and I walked away with my dream dress! The only potential rough spot is it was clear they were understaffed that day. It didn't matter much to me, though - I prefer lots of time to walk around in the dress and see how it feels. It was actually better than having an attendant waiting on me because dress shopping has enough pressure on its own without the added pressure of a stranger waiting for you to buy. read more

When I came in for my appointment, I still had to wait as they were understaffed that night, but that's no problem. The people there that night were extremely helpful and nice, even though they had to run back and forth between 2-3 brides. These people accommodated me from shoes, to veils, to bras, etc. I ordered my dress, awesome. When I came in to pick up my dress, it was awkward. I was greeted, but there were like 5 workers behind the counter staring at my party. I was brought to my dressing room and I got my dress, but there wasn't a garment bag. I was told I had to order one, but I wasn't offered it my first purchase, so I walked out with a big white plastic bag over it. This visit was weird because I tried on my dress, but no one was there to make sure I felt comfortable or if I needed any help. The only person who was there was this guy who was helping another party and he was talking to me, being friendly. (I've seen him in previous visits and he's awesome)! So I awkwardly took off my dress and walked to the counter where workers just stared at me asking me, wondering if I needed help. Umm, of course I need help? Anyways, let's just say the last visit left a very bad taste in my mouth. The workers, except the gentleman, were very awkward, cold, and rude. Even my sisters and mom made a comment on that. The first visit was great (Najla and Tarras were awesome), the last just made me very angry. My fiancé purchased a wedding dress from David's Bridal last August. Because of Covid-19 we had to postpone our wedding by a year so we tried to return her dress as well as the one for my step daughter because neither will still fit in a year. When we purchased the dresses we were told we could exchange them for store credit up till the day of the event and that we didn't need to bring the receipt as it is all in the system. We drove 3 hours to this store as we live in Yuma and don't have a David's nearby. The store manager here was exceptionally rude. She told us the policy changed and we could not return the dresses...which is not what it says online on the corporate website. I haven't had customer service this bad in a very very long time. We left there and went to the David's Bridal in Scottsdale instead and they were extremely friendly and helpful. They made the exchange for store credit with no questions asked. I would avoid the David's on Ray Rd like it has the plague. Do yourself a favor and head to Scottsdale instead. read more

This is a review for the alterations department at this particular location written by Dillon's fiancée: I went to get my dress at this location. While the associate wasn't very helpful and had other brides they were helping, the alterations were fabulous! I came in 10 days before my wedding to get my dress from alterations. When I got it, it ended up being too long from the steaming when it had previously fit. In addition, it was taken in in a weird way and changed the shape of the dress. Immediately Tam (alterations manager) noticed it. She pinned and pinned. When I got the dress back it was PERFECT! She was so calm and made me feel very comfortable. I wish I looked at the reviews before I even visited this Bridal store. I do not even know where to start. I purchased a dress that did cost me 1250 dollars. At the time I purchased the dress, I also paid 200 dollars for alterations. I needed to expedite the alterations process so they said I would cost 25 dollars extra only. Well when it was time for alterations, I had to 180 dollars extra! So overall I paid close to 400 dollars for just alterations. I wish that was the only surprise! My dress was done too short and it looked horrible!!!! I had to take it like that because I was going to leave the country or I was not going to wear a wedding dress on my wedding day. When I told them about the situation, the only response I got from them is "We are sorry". And you would think they did something about it right. Nope! They did not. Well, you might find a dress you like there but get prepared for the worst customer service ever! Only thing they care about is money and they do not care about your happiness or satisfaction whatsoever. I guess that is all you can expect from a store who sells dresses without a gown bag and they charge you for it too. read more

Got my dress. It came in a size 8 when it should have been a 10 to add length. Alterations appointment was made and the lady did a terrible job measuring. Got my dress done and it didn't even zip up the back and it was so tight the clip popped off. Had to come in last minute for someone to attempt to fix it and the entire time, the lady in alterations was swearing and talking about me. It wasn't my fault they had no clue what they were doing! Although it isn't a small botique feeling, I also didn't feel like I was just a number. Lani was my consultant and she was just, awesome!!! All her focus was on me. She really cared about what I wanted, the styles I thought I liked all while being mindful of my budget. She treated me and my family kindly and professionaly. She was honest if I asked her thoughts, (which is very important to me) and not pushy. You could tell she enjoyed her work and wanted it to be about the bride. She knows what she's doing! I purchased my dress recently and was blessed to have Nikki by my side to help me find the perfect dress. I had stopped in on a late Friday afternoon just to try on a few dresses. As most brides wish to be in perfect shape for wedding dress shopping, I was no exception in wanting this for myself but had not achieved this goal quite yet. I almost gave up after one dress but Nikki had in mind a dress perfectly picked for me. I gave in and tried on just one more dress and honestly I was beaming and smiling from ear to ear. I knew then and there that was the dress for me. I came in the next day and bought the dress!! Nikki's positive attitude, infectious personality, and true kindness is truly an experience I will remember, not just with my wedding but what genuine customer service is about. I will start this by saying I do not typically leave reviews but I felt like i needed to because this situation was so bad. I scheduled an appointment to try on some wedding dresses with just one of my bridesmaids and her husband while she was in town back in March. It started fine, I checked in and was told to 'browse' the bridal gowns to get an idea and my consultant would be right with me. not long after, a woman (i can not remember her name) came over and I informed her I had never tried on a wedding gown before, I had no idea what size I should be but I wear a 3x top and 24 pant/jean, I also told her I was open to trying any style as I knew my size was hard to come by I really wanted to try anything and get a good idea of what I liked. I had a full hour maybe and hour and a half actually, I planned to use it. Next step was getting the bra, I told her my size, the first one did not fit, she came back with another and I noticed that the size was actually smaller than the first one.. here is where it gets bad! instead of just taking the bra back she yells across the room "Really!? its a 50 double D?" I was mortified and that was not the size of the bra she had given me, she says someone must have put it in the wrong bag, and finally gets me the correct size after the entire store now knows my bra size. I am not a very insecure woman, but could you imagine if I was!? It has now been at least 20 minutes and I have no put on a single dress. In the dressing room she has put 3 dresses up and I take the first out of the bag and see its a size 20. I instantly knew it was not going to fit, I had told her I wore a 26 jean and I knew wedding dresses should be sized up, I tried and of course, no dice. The second dress was also a size 20 and would not go over my hips. Finally the 3rd dress a size 22, I was able to get on and zip up, it was nice but just not for me. I stood around for about 10 minutes waiting for my consultant to come back so I could tell her i was ready for more dresses and when she did I asked if there are any more in my size. she says "there is a whole section that is just your size, should I just pull from there?" YES!? why was this not done in the first place? i had ZERO restrictions! side note though, all of her communication with me is done from the other side of the fitting room area, I felt like she was frightened of me. Even still she came back with 2 dresses (I was hoping for more selection), one with a busted zipper(my entire back was exposed) and one that was a little closer to my style, she did not hesitate to "doll" me up added a veil that was a stark white compared to the dresses champagne color, I could feel her wanting me to pick it, I felt rushed, I was sweaty and unhappy and I did not feel pretty at all. I was fed up, I still had 20 minutes left of my appointment and I decided to let my bridesmaid look at some dresses for the remainder of the time, my 'consultant promptly told us we could use the rooms along the wall (not the one I was already using) and we didn't hear from her the rest of the appointment. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! The best part of this is several months prior my sister had scheduled at the same location and brought myself, my grandparents, my mother and our youngest sister...they brought us 2 chairs and said that chairs where 'Limited' then we watched as they pulled out about 12 seats for a larger group, my mother, myself and my younger sister all stood or sat on the ground for the hour long appointment, it was Terrible. IN CONCLUSION: I will never return or recommend this location to anyone looking for a dress,I don't know if they judged based on the appearance of wealth or physical appearance but either way it was a horrible experience considering it was my very first time and I should have left feeling beautiful and fantastic. Horrible experience, I had an appointment yesterday. I wish I was told to come early to look at wedding dresses so I would be able to pick what I wanted to try on. When I showed up to my appointment, I was quickly rushed to a room to try on dresses that I did not have. I was forced to put on under garments at the time of arrival in a dressing room where I was told not to move from the dressing area. I stood there thinking, "What in the Hell am I going to try on if I didn't have the chance to pull anything!" The lady who was assigned to me picked what she wanted, did not want to listen to my mother Inlaw when my mother Inlaw knew what I had in mind. She kept putting my mother Inlaw down in the dressing room, talking bad about her to my face. I felt overwhelmed and upset that this lady who represents David's Bridal was not helping me in any way. She did not once offer any vails or headbands until my mother Inlaw did and at that point yelled at my mother Inlaw for helping me to try on the headband and a vail. She yelled "Saying please get down and let me do my job!" I'm so disappointed in David's Bridal, I was happy going in but at my appointment I just wanted to leave and felt like crying. I do not recommend this place for any bride due to the stress and unfriendly visit I had experienced. read more

Let's start off by saying both managers we've had to deal with are completely disrespectful and think they can down talk customers. It was bridesmaids day and we were told to start looking and pulling dresses in certain areas so we did just that. We try on dresses for OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF then each fall in love with the dress we loved and ready to get the checking out process going. NOPE the person whoever they set us up with (completely Useless) says oh actually we need to see if this size will get to you in time, 45 more minutes go by and we are still searching for dresses. We ended up having to go asking other employees for help because the employees shift ended so she left. Don't you think they'd set us up with dresses that were available from the beginning?! No because that might be too much work for them. Complete waste of 4 hours. Do not go to this location, management is HORRIBLE, completely rude, useless! read more

I thought I would have a better experience, but should have known since they had a "Now Hiring" sign on the door. I had my dress appointment at 12:30pm on a Saturday. I made the appointment two weeks in advance. I walked in the door and had to go up to a desk to say hello. I was not acknowledged right away, I felt like I was inconveniencing the associate at the desk. I was not seen by an associate for trying on dresses until around 12:50. Mind you, I got to David's Bridal at 12:20pm. I was told to peruse the racks on the side. I had saved 6 dresses in my favorites list, in which, only 4 were available. This was not a problem, because I found a couple on the rack that I wanted to try on. By the time I got into the dressing room, it was already 1:15. I was slightly irritated because the sales associate helping me, was also helping about 3 other people. I only got to try on 4 dresses. I was so disappointed. I asked for a specific type of veil, which I was never able to try on either. I felt rushed and not relaxed at all. The group of people I was with were complaining as well as they saw the associate running all over helping other people. I felt bad for the girl because they were so busy. But I felt that I didn't get the attention I was looking for. This was only my second time trying on dresses, and I'm feeling very discouraged at this point. There was a manager that continued to walk by and look at us like we were going too slow, which was also disheartening. I would not go back to this location. Even with an appointment, I did not get the time allotted. My appointment was over at 2:00pm. I'm disappointed because I did find a dress I really liked, but I will not buy it from there. Our trip was an not pleasant. We walked in, and met our consultant, Rose, who was far and above the best part of our visit. She was patient, calm, friendly, helpful, not at all pushy, and very informative. This was shocking, considering what was going on all around us: We arrived to the dressing rooms to find sheer chaos. There were women EVERYWHERE, practically tripping over each other. We DID trip over the 2- and 3-year-old children someone had brought. We found that our set of dressing rooms had been taken- someone had taken Bride A's, so they took our rooms, which meant we had to squeeze in elsewhere. There was no room to move, I couldn't even take pictures of the dresses of my bridesmaids, not to mention that there was no seating. What should have been a fun, quiet experience meaningful to me and my best friends instead became an anxiety-ridden nightmare. We couldn't open the dressing room doors without knocking into women or children. I can only be thankful I purchased my wedding gown elsewhere, because I will certainly never enter a David's Bridal ever again if I can help it. The SOLE reason we will purchase our bridesmaid dresses here is because Men's Wearhouse will match colors, and my bridesmaids are spread out across the country. What I suggest is as follows: -Limit the number of parties in the store. Brides should know to make an appointment, and that lacking one may result in waiting for availability. -Exclude children in adult areas. It would be one thing to have an area set aside for flower girl dresses/try-ons. It is another entirely to be in danger of trampling wandering toddlers. -Create enclaves for bridal parties. The store is set up like a standard department store changing room, with some 15 dressing rooms all in rows facing each other. Of COURSE it will get chaotic with such a design! My recommendation is to put quads together, with a gap with maybe a bench or two in between. In this way, you can solve several issues: seating for brides/children (if they must be brought), making the experience feel individual and meaningful, and avoiding traffic jams and chaos. I hope that you consider these actions. I had a truly unpleasant experience (except for Rose, she was great!) and will not be recommending David's Bridal to anyone I know. read more

I was skeptical to visit this shop after so many mixed reviews, but I'm glad I did. Tracy was really helpful, she heard my needs and found my dress in my budget and style. I'm very happy. Also Anthony came and fit my dress with clips, his gesture helped my to decide for my dress cause I was able to see how nice looks after fitting. Tracy and Anthony supplemented my dress with accessories on a pretty blush of pink which now I'm wearing for my wedding. I had my bridesmaids dress fitting today and got lovely Tam in alterations for my appointment. I had read many glowing reviews on Yelp about how great Tam is and found that all those reviews were spot on! Tam greeted me warmly, took me to the dressing rooms and offered any help needed as I got into my dress. She asked if I wanted the straps sewn onto my dress which was strapless. Since I rarely wear strapless dresses this seamed like a nice option. I can wear it strapless for the ceremony and then later for dancing I can utilize the straps for a more active secure feel. Tam was so sweet throughout my fitting, I left feeling like I had a new friend. Highly recommend this wonderful lady! read more

With these limitations, I was a little nervous that they may not be too eager to help me. I was pleasantly surprised! My consultant Britney T. , could not have been nicer. She was super friendly and helpful without being pushy, which can be hard to find in retail. She brought me all of the dresses that she had in store from my list, as well as a few things she picked out. I ended up with one of her picks, which was on sale for $99, originally $499! It was on the clearance rack so it was very affordable and there were to problems with the dress. They hang the dress and out the plastic dress bag over it.
