What really stood out to me was how different this experience felt compared to other bridal shops. Instead of being taken straight to a fitting area and handed dresses, Carrie took me (the bride) on a one-on-one tour of the shop first so I could explore the styles they offer. We had a detailed conversation about my budget, and she made it clear that if I fell in love with anything outside of that range, she would communicate it before I even tried it on, which I really appreciated. Not every shop is that transparent, and it made me feel respected and comfortable. The entire experience felt incredibly personal and truly tailored to me. Carrie was amazing, and I also want to give a shoutout to Brooke. She was the first person I spoke with over the phone, and she immediately made me feel excited and at ease about my appointment. She asked all the right questions and was so warm and kind. I'm really looking forward to meeting her in person at my upcoming fitting!

It means a lot to walk in and be immediately welcomed by someone who clearly loves their job and wants you to be there. My main stylist was Carrie and the stylist assisting was Heather. They were both AMAZING! Carrie is so experienced and really knows her stuff (thank goodness cause I had no idea what I was talking about but that did not slow her down one bit). Heather really helped me keep my cool and was SO patient. All the ladies here hustled with grace - they were doing laps around that store, checking inventory, getting me in and out of dresses like a race car pit crew, all the while being my therapist and personal stylist. It takes a special kind of person to do all of that and maintain such enthusiasm all day - super impressive! I'm confident that if I had gone anywhere else I would've gotten overwhelmed and left empty handed. I despise clothes shopping and on top of that I had a very short turnaround time so going into this I knew I'd have limited options. Even then, they remained so positive and encouraging the whole time. They even found a ton of options that would work with my wedding date. I can't express enough how thankful I am that this group of ladies were with me every step of the way. When I arrived to pick them up around 10:30 the morning of April 14, I was told my dress is ready but not the pants!!!. I told her I need the pants for a trip I'm leaving for on the 15th. She said she could have them ready in about 30 minutes!! So I waited and about 20 minutes later she had my pants. It irritates the crap out of me when I has a pick up date and it's 2 weeks out and you don't have my clothes ready!!! Was not a happy camper. She did do a good job!!

Svitlana is unprofessional, unorganized, and treated my wedding dress carelessly, which ended up with black stains on my dress. I purchased my wedding dress at LUV Bridal in Tempe. They provided me a list of 3 seamstress who could do my alterations. The woman who sold me the dress raved about Svitlana, who was first on the list for recommended alterations. Svitlana has great reviews on Yelp and Google so I didn't bother looking elsewhere. I visited Svitlana a total of 4 times. The first couple times were fine but she was ALWAYS late. When I arrived to my 3rd appointment, she wasn't even home yet and the door was locked. I waited outside for about 10-15 minutes until she came home. When I tried on my dress, I noticed multiple black stains in the front of my wedding dress. One of them looked like black oil stains. I asked her where the stains came from but she had no idea. From the day I purchased my dress, I never took it out of the bag until I took it to her for alterations. Svitlana claimed that the black stains came from the LUV Bridal bag. But when I called LUV Bridal, they were not aware of wedding dresses getting stained from the bag. She said she'd try to get the stains out but she's not a professional. I didn't even trust her to clean it. I added sleeves to my dress so I needed to stop in for a 4th time. The sleeves were too tight and I could barely move my arms. By the time I picked up the dress, I had to leave for my flight for my wedding that week, so I couldn't ask her to adjust the sleeves. She tried to clean the stain and it ended up with a lighter white ring around it, and the stain was still there. She played it off saying that the stain is small and took a picture to show that it's not noticeable from afar. I'm upset that I had multiple black stains on my dress in the first place. I understand that my dress will get a little dirty at some point, but that should happen AFTER the wedding, not before by a seamstress. When I found a dry cleaner in Houston that would try to clean my wedding dress, she told me that the black stains appear to be burn stains, so they couldn't take it out. I was horrified. When I tried on my dress at the dry cleaners in Houston, she noticed that the lining of my dress was not properly altered so she did a rush job for me. Thankfully, my dress was ready just 2 days before my wedding day. I paid so much money to get my wedding dress altered, and I had to do even more work to it afterwards. I'm disappointed and upset beyond belief. I called LUV Bridal to explain the whole story, and it turns out a few other brides have experienced similar issues with Svitlana. She has now been removed from the list of recommended seamstresses. I hope this review helps future brides.
