Such a gem. I wasn't convinced to having a wedding and then we decided to. I wasn't convinced to…read morebuy a wedding dress and ordered some cheaper ones off the internet. On a whim I heard about this place and figured it's for a good cause and I could try on real wedding dresses to have the "moment." I did t expect to find anything given I am 6ft tall. Imagine my shock when the third one I try on is it. It felt like a bridal gown and I've never felt so beautiful before. The person working with us was so mindful of not upselling but instead encouraging to try things on since I just wanted the experience and haven't really done any shopping. I ended up trying several styles and silhouettes and was so surprised they had so many long enough for me. Definitely recommend. I'm over the moon that I found something as if it was made for me. It was also such a great price that I've still not had any buyers remorse. There's something to be said about the "moment" so if you're like me and not wanting to spend a lot and make a fuss over a dress, I recommend this place. You can easily justify it as it goes towards amazing work and the price really is fair. Not to mention the folks helping you are volunteers so they're there because they love helping and supporting the non-profit. Overall win!

Carrie greeted us right away with Champagne (and a sparkling juice option for non-drinkers), which immediately set such a welcoming and thoughtful tone. What really stood out to me was how different this experience felt compared to other bridal shops. Instead of being taken straight to a fitting area and handed dresses, Carrie took me (the bride) on a one-on-one tour of the shop first so I could explore the styles they offer. We had a detailed conversation about my budget, and she made it clear that if I fell in love with anything outside of that range, she would communicate it before I even tried it on, which I really appreciated. Not every shop is that transparent, and it made me feel respected and comfortable. The entire experience felt incredibly personal and truly tailored to me. Carrie was amazing, and I also want to give a shoutout to Brooke. She was the first person I spoke with over the phone, and she immediately made me feel excited and at ease about my appointment. She asked all the right questions and was so warm and kind. I'm really looking forward to meeting her in person at my upcoming fitting!

I insisted that that didn't seem right and I thought I was not measure correctly. Ignored my concern and assured me it was normal. Over the last year I have been measured elsewhere many times, my body has not changed at all since being measured, and Ive called true society many times over this past year, and every time I was reassured that the dress being that large was normal. Fast forward to my first alteration appointment and the first thing the seamstress says is "wow. It it really big. Did you lose weight?" I told her no I hadn't and that the dress came that way from true society. My alterations and costing double what they should because true society measured me incorrectly. The manager and employees have done nothing my lie and gaslight me by telling me it normal and not that oversized. After the manager spoke to the seamstress she tried telling me it was only "a pinch in the waist and 2in top in the bust, when the seamstress told her it was too large by 4.5 inches in the bust and 4 in in the waist. Tried blaming me about accepting the dress a year ago when I tried getting this corrected before pickup and have been expressing concerns this entire year. Theu keep trying to push a cheap seamstress with less experience on me, even after saying i wasn't interested really more than once. Now ill have nothing to wear to my wedding if this doesn't get fixed. I got so upset and cried so hard after their last phone call that my seizure condition was triggered and I had a seizure. This place only cares about money.

When I purchased my dress, both Dani and Sydni took my measurements and I was told they were ordering a dress that would fit those measurements. The only reason I felt comfortable purchasing an expensive dress was because I was under the impression that I wouldn't need to get it extensively altered. My dress is 3" too big around my waist and 2" too big around my bust. I tried to resolve the issue but was told there was nothing they can do because the designer doesn't have a smaller size. If I had known my dress would be too big, I would've found a smaller dress that I still liked. Positive experience day of, but now I'm two months out from my wedding, stressed because I'm swimming in my dress. They don't do returns either so I can't even purchase a different dress at this point.

This was the third wedding dress shop we had visited today and am not going to lie was burnt out and at this point had lost hope that we were going to one find a dress and have a great experience. The other two shops weren't as magical as I had wished my sister would had experience for such a monumental moment in someone's life. Prior to our appt, Steven asked us so many questions. What dresses we were looking for, information about the bride which was already a good start. Heads up, due to covid, they are only taking appointments and yes they were wearing PPE & yes they had limitations to the guest you could bring (3). Which I would take a cap on guest versus having to do a zoom call like many of the other shops we called. Once we arrived, Steven & Sarita focuses all their attention on my sister, made her feel so special. Walked ya through their boutique, educated us, where honest about price, just phenomenal. Once my sister started trying on dresses, they were very attentive to our needs. They did an excellent job of making everyone feel special! They had so many amazing dresses, that it made it difficult to make up our mind on which one was our favorite. But eventually we made our decision and said yes to the dress!! We were all in tears!! Thank you Sarita & Steven for making my sister feel like every bride should on their special day, like a princess! ** they make all the alterations in house which was such a plus! **
