It felt as though assumptions and biases were being made based clothing I was wearing or my perceived financial status or more. During the interaction, the associate made comments around Men's Wearhouse and similar retailers that they are not and that she doesn't like, which came across as dismissive and unnecessary. That said, I personally would not purchase from this store based on my experience with this associate. On a more positive note, I will note that they do offer a wide variety of selections and seem to do quality work. But overall, it's disappointing when quality customer service and professionalism are difficult to find in environments that should feel welcoming and inclusive.

The place was packed! That being said, there were at least four employees handling customers. We were offered some cold bottles of water while we waited, which was a nice touch, and then Vicki helped us out. We ended up trying on a boys' suit and then ordering a size up... I found the price for this reasonable for a quality suit and we were told it should be arriving within the week. We will go back when it arrives to see if it needs alterations, and I know that BT&C is known for the great job they do with tailoring, so I may have to bump this review up another star based on our next experience visiting. What dresses we were looking for, information about the bride which was already a good start. She helped us pick out mother of the bride dresses and coordinated accessories for each outfit. I brought in my wedding dress a few months before my big day and each fitting the dress was more perfect than when I had left it. She knew exactly what to do (I had taken other dresses to get altered at other places) but they were never as thorough as her. She is also an amazing hair and makeup artist. It was our company Christmas party and I was selected to purchase a few items for game prizes. My cart was loaded with goodies. I checked out and pushed my heavy cart towards the door. I reached the sliding glass doors when all of a sudden the wheels on my cart locked up. It was similar to the bad grocery cart experience when one wheel doesn't turn and you're trying to keep your cool and not just kick the cart over and walk away. I was now sweating profusely and super annoyed because that's when I saw the sign that carts can't leave the building. OH Shiitake mushrooms!!! Son of a bishop!! Was I supposed to make 10 trips heaving my loot to the car? This isn't Compton or the Roosevelt housing district.... I live in an area where are the most dangerous thing is a mom in yoga pants, piloting a minivan in the pick up line at school. That is some scary stuff... you want to see crazy aggressive mom behavior just hang out at any elementary school or junior high at the end of the day. We had put a backpack "on hold" prior to coming in, so the associate was able to grab that for us and it made the process a lot quicker. Plus it was great customer service. We were in line approx. 15 minutes. The stores personnel did a fair job considering how busy it was. My kids really like the Tilly's merchandise, so we appreciate the way the staff handled a really busy day.

I ended up getting my boyfriend a shirt and we got some Pink Stuff paste to use the most of the cash only to find it wasn't eligible for coupons so we basically paid for that in full (bummer). That's the one downfall of Kohl's is not really having an easy way to know what counts and what's going to come up as excluded since things aren't all easily marked. The last item I always notice is the low stock or no stock of certain sizes or how quickly the seasons change in certain areas. For example I wanted sleeveless work shirts and couldn't find any 9 west or Vera options. I'm glad I came here to see what they had today.
