First off we were greeted with a smile and a "Welcome," from MaKayla T. She gave some suggestions as it was my first visit. The food took about 10 minutes to come, but it was nice, warm, and fresh. I purchased the Dave #3 basket (hot) that comes with a tender, slider, and fries. It was very filling and tasty. The sauce was similar to Raising Cane's, but I actually preferred this one. My son, who's a big eater, ordered the 10 pc Dave's Bites (mild) with fries basket. He was barely able to finish it. He also generally doesn't like sauces but he enjoyed this one. With a $2 tip I paid $27.42, which is a little on the pricy end, but is equitable to Cane's. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. We came in when it was fairly empty, but by the time we left it was pretty full. Overall a great experience. Compared to Cane's, I'd prefer this place as it has more variety. I was so excited to try this...it's pricey but the tenders are really big...I got the medium and it was spicier then I expected. I was upset that I paid over 15 for the meal and I got about 10 fries. Great food and service! Everyone is in such a great mood here even when it's a bit chaotic with the line of customers. The chicken strips are a little over seasoned but when it's eaten with a bun as a slider, it creates the perfect balance! I went with medium heat only because I am not allowed at the moment to eat anything too spicy after a procedure done and "spicy" can be a bit unpredictable in establishments. But ill definitely go with hot next time. Their fries and sauce added the cherry on top, I couldn't get enough sauce, might get extra next time. Lastly, I'd like to applaud the professionalism of the staff once again, my son had an incident and notified a member that either was a manager or owner, but even with his tie and sunday's best, he swept and cleaned the place without thinking twice or ordering another team member and that my friends makes a business wholesome filled with great vibes. Really love this place! My husband got the slider-- note: it's a FULL sandwich, not a mini one-- and I got the tender. The heat in the hot is a really nice warm sizzle, and the extra hot is similar but it compounds a bit which is nice. Fries are the perfect crispness and are seasoned sooo well. This place right here!!! Holy toledo! I drove 30 minutes to get here and I'm so freaking glad I did! I've NEVER had spicy chicken like this before. It creates a whole new twist on spicy. They have 5 or 6 different spice levels. The medium was good enough for me! My nose was slightly runny. They put a really awesome sauce on top of the slider that you can also use to dip your fries in. It was my first time there and the lady working the register was very helpful when it came to what to order. It's a pretty big place, but it's nothing formal. A really awesome chicken shop, with great flavors, and the fries have a "out of this world" Cajun seasoning too. Be sure to grab LOTS of napkins!
