Every time I come in the staff is friendly and they get your food out in a reasonable time. I love the milkshakes from here. I recently tried the Tijuana Street Fries. Since I'm not a big fan of crema, I think this one isn't for me - i'll go back to the regular strips, fries and mac n cheese in the future. Terrible place to eat at will never be back. I came at night time, i only wanted a shake. The employees were cleaning, when i asked to order they seemed bothered by a paying customer ordering within business hours. Employee made shake as I was driving home I got maybe 1/4 of the way through my shake till I realized it was all gone. That was because the employee deliberately filled it up 3/4 or more with whip cream. When I tried to come the next day to talk to management I was laughed at and asked for proof. I must admit, I've only had the Chicken Tender baskets at Urban Bird. I've found the dine in experience to be lacking for one reason that might not bother others. The plastic forks and knives and the wax paper lined baskets don't match up to the chicken as far as being able to cut the chicken. The chicken is too messy to pick up by hand, and after trying to cut the chicken you end up with a gnarly mess. Anyway, the chicken is decent, but there are other places (Tumble 220) not too far away that provide a better dine in experience and has at least as good or better hot chicken. Compared to other chicken spots, Urban Bird is pretty good. The fries are seasoned with a spice mixture that has salty but also sweet notes. The chicken was moist and tender. Really good chicken and a nice menu. Sandwiches are huge, I can't finish one. Fry portions could be larger and there is a slight sweet flavor that didn't sit well with me. I ordered the house loaded fries and was a little disappointed. I didn't really like the house sauce (too sweet) and while the idea of mac and cheese on fries sounds good, the soft texture just didn't cut it for me. There are other varieties of loaded fries, some of which sound better. I look forward to returning to try more. They offer free fries when you first sign up, but be warned, you have to use the coupon within 24 hours. I found that out the hard way, and they won't let you sign up of it a 2nd time. My suggestion to them, offer small samples of the ice cream for a buck. You could have made 10 bucks with our group and the cost is so little. read more

We ordered a hot honey dip to try, it was ok, the honey was more like honey with 1 jalapeno slice, if it was infused sweet/spicy it would have been a hit. The maple sriracha sauce ...by far a favorite! I understand needing to make a profit, but it was a bit pricey. The fries had a very small scoop of mac and cheese, which my family said the same, and out of town family went over the week and said it could have been a bit more, at least to have enough for the fries coverage, especially for the price. Let me start by saying the food was good. What was strange was that the Nashville hot chicken appeared to be the spiciest option. Even the fire in the hole was less than half the heat of the Nashville hot flavor or they did everything wrong so I'm not sure. Service was quick and easy and the restaurant was quiet and calm. I was not sure if I wanted to go three stars or four because of the strange situation with the heats of the seasonings not matching their flavor description. I still say give this place a try. Is it the best hot chicken? No. But it definitely cuts the craving for one. Usually, when I get a medium spicy level it is never spicy enough. This place got the spice level down. I got the Nashville hot because I like it spicy but not so spicy that it takes away the enjoyment of the sandwich. My husband got a level above mine and his was pretty spicy. The only gripe I had with the chicken sandwich was that they use two chicken tenders versus one breast. Which made it messy and hard to eat. Also, forgot to mention, if you're ordering multiple meals, make sure you ask them which is which because my husband and I got the sandwich, different level spice, and it was not label or told which one was which. We ended up splitting in half and tried each others sandwich. The seasoning they used for the fries were delicious! I will never turn my back on Mico's again... Urban Bird has everything but customer service right (I'll come back to that), but they just don't measure up. You get a free drink with a "sando" and side combo. The mango lemonade is delish! The food is fresh, attractive, and well-intentioned, but the flavor of the chicken is a big miss. Even the extra seasoning on the crinkle fries made no difference. A better name for the restaurant would be suburban bird... I sat in the parking lot and ordered online. I quickly received a text indicating my food would be ready between 3:52 and 4:02. I never received a text, but decided to walk in at 3:57. When I did, my food was sitting on the counter, getting colder and less appetizing by the minute... when asked, the cashier indicated that no text is sent when food is ready. She didn't seem to care that my food was cold. She simply handed me plastic cups to fix my own drink, adding more time for my food to cool off.
