The pani puri was super refreshing and the shells were super light and airy. The chicken tikka masala was also very good and was actually spicy. Definitely recommend!

Serves Punjabi-style vegetarian/vegan fare; includes Indo-Chinese staples (Goni Manchurian, Hakka Noodles, Fried Rice, etc.), chaats, and South Indian dosas/uttapams (from experience, always wary of North Indian restaurants attempting to mimic South Indian fare). Picked up dinner last night- great service! Ordered Gobi Manchurian, Szechuan Hakka Noodles, Paneer Methi Malai, Chaap Curry, Jeera Rice, and Masala Soda. Food was good (Punjabi, which we love), but not spectacular - quite oily as the photos show, and Methi Malai, though tasty, was a bit too sweet. And, quite pricey! $13-15+ for relatively small quantities served. Probably spent close to $100 for the above, including tips and taxes! All in all, been wanting to visit since the establishment started - quite popular, especially nights and weekends - so be prepared to wait 20-25 mins as food is cooked freshly. Good people, give them a try.

Ordered Mango and Salt Lassis and Chai, followed by Grilled Chicken Platter (Kevab, Boti, Achari, Hariyali, and Tandoori), Tandoori Pomfret, Amritsari Chole, Sarson da Saag and Makki ki Roti, Aloo Kulcha, and Bread Basket (Naan, Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Roti). Service was friendly and excellent, food arrived promptly and was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Meats and fish were very tender and wonderfully marinated. Ramandeep visited out table and diver a while chatting about family, food, and NYE event at the restaurant. Overall the meal for gourmet set us back $124, including a healthy tip. So good to have been back - authentic, hearty Punjabi food cooked with love!

Their butter chicken is easily one of the best in town--rich, balanced, and comforting. The tandoori soy chaap is excellent, and the veg Kolhapuri was another highlight on earlier visits. Not everything hits the mark, though. The sarson da saag with makki di roti was disappointing and not something I'd recommend. Update (Aug 2025): It looks like the kitchen team has changed. Some of the curries, especially the Kolhapuri, have really declined in flavor--leaning heavily on chili powder without the depth or balance they once had. I'll give them another try before writing them off, but it's a noticeable step back.

Grab your drink and seat yourself. Wait for your name to be called. Cute small place for Indian food. 4. Food - the food was pretty good. I recommend their CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA. you can pick your spice level (mild, medium, or hot). They have wings and pizza here! 5. Cleanliness - dining area and restrooms appear clean. Customers typically clean up their own mess. I didn't see anyone wiping down the tables during our visit though. We had some minor water drops and stains on our table from the previous customer. We did have to wipe down ourselves. But nothing major that deterred us from staying.

This is what I suspected after indulging in Tikka Shack goodies during a recent Yelp Elite event, but I am not an expert on Indian cuisine, so I called in reinforcement. Tikka Shack's menu is organize a in a way that allows the casual diner to learn the dishes by category. I had spinach masala with lamb and naan, while a friend had butter chicken masala. My friend with cultural expertise faked us out by ordering from a different section of the menu (kabab bowl + chicken tikka?). The restaurant has a nice vibe with multiple seating areas indoors and out. The service was good and we enjoyed the bicycle/jitney the men decor.
