I tried the mushroom burger. It comes with a nice beef patty with cheese and an au poivre sauce covering the mushrooms nicely. For the burger I would give it 5/5. But the fries were just missing the punch. We got the loaded fries and the masala fries. Both just had flavor profiles all over the place. I would come back but not get the fries. read more

The food wasn't healthy, but it sure looked good. I ended up ordering the Philly cheese steak tacos. The tacos were different than most places, but they were really good. In the end, I could only finish a a single taco. The place itself is rather small and that's part of the charm. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately... this ain't it. If burger is in the name, then the Burger should be out of this world, but it was just pretty good. The bun was a brioche bun and the patty was alright. Nothing especially good. No special sauce. No even "regular" sauce. I upgraded to have curly fries with the meal and got a side of fried pickles and unfortunately, the ranch fell all over the fried pickles. But that was not their fault, so I'm not docking any points off that. However, the curly fries were definitely not fresh and they should have been, especially since I got there at 11:30 AM and they opened up at 11 AM. Maybe other people are getting something that's making them happy, because there were other people inside at that time who obviously worked close by and seemed to enjoy their food, but I was pretty disappointed that the fries were chewy and seemed to be reheated. The fried pickles were fresh but had gotten soggy less than 5 minutes after I received my food. The only saving grace for this was that I was able to get a fountain drink and was able to get some lemonade with the meal. The employee who took my order was kind and I was able to get the meal out pretty quickly as well, which would have been a fantastic had I really enjoyed it. Long story short I could not justify it lol The first time I visited I went with a close buddy of mine. This buddy recommended it because she professes that she has superior taste buds and can suggest no wrong. Tornado burger has a beef patty, bacon, cheese onions and pure goodness. Extremely packed with flavor. Pro tip- eat it early in the day and work it off. Seeing the name OMG! Burger, of course we are here. We pulled up on a Friday night, 730 and the parking lot is so empty we were concerned the place was closed. Clearly it's open and we are awaiting our food. Hubbs ordered the Tornado Philly burger, I considered it because the description looked pretty dang good... Beef patty with Philly steak, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, pepper jack cheese as well as both cheddar and provolone cheese, almost forgot the OMG Sauce. I ordered the OMG steak Philly, normal Philly toppings, I added grilled jalapenos and the 2M2H sauce on the side. I want to mention at this time that while the parking lot was empty they were just steady stream of DoorDashers, Uber eats and GrubHub as well as customers picking up their own food. So yes parking lot was empty, but they were busy. Our food arrived and yes, it was good. The tornado burger was cooked perfect, and it was good and it was messy. The fries are cut in store and seasoned well. Hubbs did enjoy it and I tried it and thought it good as well. The steak Philly was really good, plenty of meat and cheese and toppings, no skimping, which I appreciated and will make note of. Everything was good, although Hubbs didn't like the Pepsi product choices, he is a Coke guy, but I digress. So, yes, the food was good, and yes, it's a local shop and not a chain, BUT... We stopped in this little burger place off spring cypress because of the reviews. The dining area is small but plenty of seating. It's clean and well kept. We split the shroom burger and made it a combo with fries and a drink. The burger was seasoned perfectly and the bun was soft. The fries were crispy and seasoned well too. The location on spring cypress is a small restaurant so depending on how busy they are the wait can be about 20 minutes or more. The staff were very friendly and professional. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a friend ordered some sort of chicken with fries thing. First off, the fries between the two orders were completely different. I'm not a fan of shoestring fries, but I saw the skin on fries, which are a little better. Unfortunately my order came with the regular shoestring fries. The burger was fairly small and very dry. The bun was toasted and unremarkable. I had to drown it in ketchup and drink a lot of tea to get through it. Perhaps a loaded burger would be better, but it's still likely to include a dry, small patty. Whatever the chicken and fries thing was, seemed pretty good. The chicken appeared to be grilled and had a little kick to it. The skin on fries were good, but I'd prefer thicker ones. They're open later than others on weekdays, and that's what made them an option for us. Service was quick, although I wouldn't say efficient. The man running the counter had trouble understanding us over the phone, as well as with explaining the menu, which lead to a complicated ordering process. But once orders were in, we showed up on time, gave our number and picked up without much trouble. Food here was unfortunately underwhelming, anywhere on the range from disappointing to acceptable, which isn't confidence inspiring. I would stick with their Chicken Quesadillas and whichever sandwiches you enjoy the toppings on, because the fries and base sandwich aren't the best. Overall, I'm grateful to have had the experience, but I likely won't be returning again.
