Awesome Guinness Dog , Bacon Werewolf, and flying pig dog. Best dog I've ever had.

Dat Dog, on Magazine Street, in the Irish Channel. Your doggie served on a bed of iceberg lettuce -- great for cutting carbs!

Wow, still wonderful. Dat Dog has a large menu, including vegan, but I never get passed the huge variety of dogs. At this point in our repeated visits, I have tried the Alligator, Andouille, Bratwurst, Crawfish, Duck, Holiday, and the Classic Frank Dogs, and there are many more to go. And all go well with a cold Abita and Chili-Cheese Tots. I have eaten at all three Dat Dog locations (Freet, Frenchmen and Magazine Streets), and they are all great, but Magazine is closest to my heart. It's ... cozier, friendlier, warmer ... and five blocks from where I always stay when visiting NOLA. So add convenient to that list. Seriously, I think the krew there are just the best, couldn't be nicer, more considerate, family-friendly, full-measure kind of people. The three restaurants have always been neat, clean, with plenty of in-side and out-side seating. So, when you are tramping up and down Magazine Street, I Highly Recommend you stop in, take a load off, cool down, and dig in. Oh, yes, there is a full bar. Loveeee me some dat dog! I was in town visiting family and I've been gone for 2yrs. It didn't taste like it did in the beginning and seems like they cut back on the amount of toppings, but it was still good! They were super nice and everyone was helpful! I can't wait to go back home and try the new menu

Found this gem of a place while wandering down Magazine street. Food was delicious, service was fast and the inside was nice and clean. Would deff recommend for a quick bite to eat.

Vegan bratwurst!!! The vegan banger was amazing, the texture the taste the bun the toppings all were spot on. The staff were super nice and very laid back so don't expect to rush in and out but do expect a great hotdog experience.

OMG BEST Hotdogs I've tried. Incredibly talented and creative hotdog recipes. I would have to come back a few more times to get to know more the menu. There's a patio and bar inside so there plants of room for bigger groups and families. Fun and friendly staff. Now, the only drawback is the wait. And be ready for it. We waited 20 minutes for two hotdogs in a slow Sunday lunch.

A delicious dog. I decided to build my own. I got smoked Brotsworth with grilled onions and cheddar cheese. It was pretty decent. The chili cheese tots were also delicious. The chili was very good, next time I am adding it to my dog! The atmosphere and outdoor seating is nice. Bathrooms were dirty and you have to park out on the street, no parking lot.

Went for the weenie dog event, it was so fun!!! Drinks and dogs were great, and the staff was incredibly nice, helpful and friendly (especially Gabby). Will be coming again!!!!

Great service and terrific bar! Great for a late lunch. Plus a lot of beers on tap.

This is NOLA version of a Chicago Dog.

This is a cute and colorful restaurant. I have not had a hot dog nor thought about one in a few years. Will try another location but definitely would go back.

This was the second stop on an amazing food tour (check out New Orleans Secrets for a great tour!), and our tour guide ordered us the alligator sausage with entoufee sauce. Honestly, I was skeptical about even considering anything with gator in it, but this was honestly one of the best sausages I've ever had! The sausage has a nice crisp to it even boring into it, and the flavors of the sausage perfectly complimented each other with a little bit of a kick from some spice. I also loved the funky vibe of the place.

Such a fun atmosphere and delicious food! The bar has a wide selection of local drafts, a few cocktails and decent canned wine options. We have come here a few times to watch Florida Gator games as it's the NOLA gator club watch party location. It's always a good vibe, the game is on most of the TV's and sound is on for the games as well. Don't be dissuaded by the "hot dog bar" title. They know their food! All different kinds of sausage and and hot dogs as well as tons of toppings. Fresh hot tater tots and crispy battered fries accompany the selection of dogs. We had the Italian sausage with onions and peppers and it was so good! Piping hot and extremely tasty, even down to the bun. Chili cheese fries were perfectly covered and also piping hot and fresh. We will be back!

I've frequented Dat Dog many a times and am finally leaving a review. The fact I've frequented it many times should explain why I am giving it 5 stars. The hot dogs are always good. Fries are top of the line by the way. Pricey for a hot dog meal but worth it. Located on the great Magazine St.

I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group--no more than four people--given the limited space and portion sizes, especially if you enjoy family-style dining. The short rib entrée was a 3.8/5. While flavorful, it was slightly on the drier side, and the mashed purée portion underneath was very small. The okra king salmon was amazing and paired perfectly with the vegetables. The veal sweetbreads were crispy on the outside and very buttery on the inside. Overall, the flavors of most dishes were delicious and unique. I can see why they earned a Michelin star. The pistachio cheesecake wasn't too sweet, and we enjoyed every bite. Service was outstanding--from the host to our waiter and the entire dining room staff. The food came out quickly, and our waiter was very attentive. I would definitely return for the great vibes, excellent service, and thoughtful cuisine.

If I have a small suggestion (too common in dining) is that there might be a beard warning. I ordered the celery soup. Superb! The service, however, was absolutely outstanding. The staff was attentive, kind, and took excellent care of us throughout the evening. Service: 10/10. Food reviews from our table: Glenn: Shared the lamb appetizer and felt it lacked flavor and was a very small portion. He also had the flounder, which he felt was a very small serving and only average in taste. He hated the bread. Overall rating: 5+/10, mostly because of the excellent service. Silvana. Had the flounder and felt it did not seem like flounder, was very thin, dry, and flavorless. The zucchini was good but extremely small--essentially one bite. Rating: 3/10. Stephen: Had the $40 redfish plate, which he felt looked more like a lunch portion. He thought the food itself was decent and rated it 6/10, but was disappointed by the size for the price and said he left still hungry. Me: I had the red snapper, which was actually a more reasonable portion than the others and tasted decent. I would rate it 7.0/10. I also sampled the other dishes and personally found the flounder to be very bland. The lamb appetizer, in my opinion, was the biggest disappointment of the evening and I would rate it 1/10. Overall experience for me 5/10. Overall, a rating of 5/10 (average between all 4 of us) mainly because of the services. While the service was excellent, the portions were surprisingly very small for a high-end restaurant and the food did not meet our expectations, especially for a birthday dinner we had been looking forward to with family visiting from out of town. We will not be going back.

And then I realized the "new" Delachaise is like a decade old! This birthday... let's say it hit hard with this realization that you can think something is new when it's actually ten years old. I love this Maple Street location of Delachaise. A longtime fan of the St. Charles location (13 years, in fact), I appreciate that this spot has full table service while the OG is order at the bar. It is also larger, sparkling and sharp. Both feel a little Parisian, just in wholly different ways. And I like the ambiance of both. Behold that cocktail menu! So many unique drinks and similar to the other Delachaise, expect to be impressed with the wines by the glass. I always appreciate a good glass of Sangiovese. I haven't checked out the food menu in a while at St. Charles, but I never seemed to be able to find anything vegan. There's vegan Buffalo cauliflower here, which I'll have to try next time. We ordered olives but they weren't really to my liking (cold, tasting strongly of vinegar rather than herbs and too many of the tiny black ones taking up space. I love Castelvetrano olives and there weren't any in the serving). Service is just so so nice. Really perfect. Can't wait to come back for more wine and an evening on the patio.
