#6 dressed cheddar burger and hickory sauce and cheese French fries
Kellen P.

The Bud's Broiler across from Delgado was a childhood staple, especially after Carrollton Boosters soccer games. This newer one is right off of City Park Rd on canal and has plenty of seating. You can't go wrong with the #6 dressed cheddar burger (I usually hold the pickles and mustard) or if I'm feeling "healthy", I get the #10 regular Chicken a sandwich (they also have an eat fit one). Throw in the Chili Hickory Sauce Cheese French Fries and a Coke Zero and you're set. The guys working the counter have always been friendly. Sometimes the place can get busy and you'll wait a minute for your order.

Well, I am still disappointed that The Delgado Bud's Broiler closed but I am elated to find they have opened on Canal blvd. . I like the new look and they still maintained the same decorum of wooden tables and benches. Very simple decorum indeed. Same great taste and will always be my favorite burger joint. The memories of Bud's Broiler keeps old New Orleans alive in me.... Remember to support local eateries or we will all starve....

While far from being the best burger place in New Orleans, it is a great comfort food place. Their new location is 10 times better than the original. It's very large, spacious, indoor and out. This makes it very COVID friendly. Went for lunch on a Saturday. It was pretty busy, but still took a good while to get our food. I want to say it was 20 plus minutes. Which was fine they getting back into the groove after being closed a few years. I went with a number 3 burger and cheese fries. It was pretty much how I remember taste wise. Little bit better than your typical fast food burger. Cheese fries were great tons of cheese and crispy thin cut fries. Also nabbed me a chocolate shake, which paired well with my salty fries. I'm almost positive this is the first time I've been to Bud's in daylight. I look forward to when they are back to 24 hours so I can stumble in after a fest and order way to much food then waddle home fat and happy.

I'm not sure this rating is fair. I will give them another try after the hype of them reopening dies down. I really felt that the burger I had was not the Buds I remembered, both the burger and fries were cold. There were a lot of people in there, so I will go at another time and adjust my rating accordingly. I love the location and that is next to Morning Call. You have the option of eating inside or outside and watch the street cars as they go by. I say give them a try, just go when they aren't so busy.

This was my first visit to this Buds and it was one of the best! The burgers were really good! Not dried or or tough. The buns tasted fresh. The chicken nuggets were crispy and hot. I would come back!

Open for business, baby! I've been waiting for my beloved BB to open up ever since the City Park Ave location shut down. They opened last week and things are off to a great start! Right now, it looks like they're only open Thursday - Sunday but I'm hoping that'll change soon. Of course, the lines are long given the 'newness' but the staff is working hard to keep things movin. Our typical order is a #5, #6, onion rings, fries, and a coke! Surprisingly, I have yet to try their hickory sauce but it's sold by the bottle at this location in case that interests you. Still waitin on that liquor license so get your libations elsewhere. This was the perfect addition to our little Lakeview neighborhood -- walk a couple feet down to get some beignets for dessert afterwards! Oh, and are we etching our names into their picnic tables or nah?! IYKYK!

Stopped by to try the new Buds Broiler. Looks great.

Was in the mood for a burger and decided to try out the new Buds Broiler on canal. Very clean and good location nice view of the streetcar turnaround. Parking is a little tight with only a few spots. Staff was great and the food was fantastic. Reasonably priced. I had a number six, the huge mound of fresh cheddar on top of the grilled onions. I will definatly be comming here again. One sugestion is they might add a double patty option. We here in New Orleans love to eat. All in all a great experience and i recommend you give it a shot and post what the other foods taste like. I do have great news, I spoke with the manager and he agreed that if you mention you saw it here on yelp, you can have any two items off the menu at regular price. Cant beat that can ya. See you all down the road.

The restaurant was packed, and the staff was moving nonstop--but what really stood out was how smoothly everything was handled despite how busy it was. The food? Easily a 10/10. The chicken had that perfect balance--crispy and slightly spicy on the outside, yet unbelievably juicy and tender on the inside. You can tell real care goes into it. The greens were cooked just right with a subtle hint of spice that gave them great flavor, and the slaw had a light sweetness that complemented everything perfectly. Service was just as impressive. My server, Tashena, was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without missing a beat, even in the rush. You could tell she genuinely cared about the experience. I also have to shout out the manager, Whitney. She was incredibly uplifting, constantly cheering on her team and keeping the energy positive and motivated. That kind of leadership really shows in the overall experience. Between the food, the service, and the atmosphere, I can confidently say this is a 1000/10 recommend. I'll definitely be back

It was outstanding. It came dressed with pickled purple onions and horseradish cream sauce. That, with some seasoned fries, was a great meal. I love that they partner with Dong Phuong for their bread and they use Blue Plate mayo. I've seen the Dong Phuong truck dropping off bread and king cakes so I know they're 100% keeping it local. Service can be a little slow but everything is made to order.

There is both covered and exposed seating, however all of the seating is beneath the canopy of an elder oak tree. The landscaping is carefully homegrown with beautiful greenery and pretty flowering shrubs to greet you upon arrival. There's also a stage where you can enjoy live music. Once inside, you're greeted by welcoming staff who are proud of what they serve. The interior is modest, with nice rustic carpentry. Bourrée is to Boucherie as Cochon Butcher is to Cochon. It's a wing and daiquiri spot, but the wings are natural (read: smaller than the hormonal wings we're used to) and the daiquiris are dry, just the way I like them. Mr. Tea is my favorite of their daiquiris because sugar isn't the first thing I taste, instead I'm actually getting that antioxidental brewed tea flavor. Never thought I'd want that from a daiquiri, but as it turns out, I do. Their fries are some of my favorite in the city: shoestringy with crispy ends, the skin still on, salty, and plentiful. We also love their version of fried Brussels sprouts which taste of maple-citrus with bites of Tasso mixed in for good measure. My only gripe was with the jerk wings which didn't taste of jerk, just spicy. And if I'm being honest, the wings aren't the best of what they offer. They make everything in house with quality standards as high as Boucherie.
