Came here for the first time 30+ years ago. Doesn't disappoint. Seriously they are the best burgers in the world. Old diner, great food, easy on the pocket book. The onion rings! Fuuu$k they are so good.

Clover Grill is a Bourbon Street staple. Where else can you get made to order delicious food 24/7 for excellent prices?? The staff is friendly and no-nonsense. They bust their tails so that the wait is short but the food is still outstanding. This diner is a small space but packed with flavorful options at great prices. You can't go wrong with breakfast all day and their turkey club is fantastic!

Came here on a whim. As a place we went to prior wasn't serving food and it was only 7.30p. This diner isn't big but the food is good and reasonably priced. In the mood for breakfast, there you go. Husband and I ordered the same breakfast special but got our eggs style d different. Had mine scrambled and his sunny side up. Also i added on sausage and he added hashbrowns. They only have the basic coke products, coffee, tea, or juice. It's a small dinner set up. No bathroom inside so make sure you go prior. From certain tomes of the morning the breakfast specials. One runs 5a-11 and then the other one that's similar is all day. As my husband said, "French quarters version of a waffle house" Minus the drama. Service was good. And onsin guy doing most the cooking while the other took and brought out orders.

Absolutely amazing food and employees!! Such a great atmosphere going back in time old Diner feeling. Ate here at least once a day the week I was in New orleans.

This place is not for the faint of heart . If you're looking for a local place, a 24 -hour place, this place never closes. It's a 2 person front of the house operation.Basic breakfast items, eggs, meat, hash browns, grits, omelets. They also have a lunch menu. I had eggs scrambled with toast, bacon and hash browns. A filling meal, warming through and through. The restaurant has been here for decades. The atmosphere is quaint and local. The place is a buzz. $25 for 2 of us. Card only unless you're leaving a tip.

Make Build Your Own Burger with an extra patty, axon, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, with a side of bacon. Magical.

Having a taste for burgers, I wanted to find a wicked good burger spot that had its feel and wasn't just some nouveau gastropub with a bunch of bling. Between looking up on Yelp and reading through Eater, I discovered the Clover Grill further down Bourbon Street as you start to get away from the non-stop sound assault of the bars that stretch several blocks. At Clover, their burgers are bomb-diggity good, are cooked to perfection, and will ensure you will not have an empty stomach for most of the day and the next -- if you order the double as I did. Having been in business since 1939 within a white-painted building with green trim, the Clover Grill continues to offer burgers, breakfast, chicken-fried steak, and other sandwiches for reasonable prices that are quite satisfying. The burger is cooked with their signature seasoning (not sure what it was, but it was good), and I had it with bacon, an extra patty, and mushrooms. I devoured it like a madman at the bar counter surrounded by pink walls and no frills. Being that they are open 24 hours, the grill is a fantastic spot depending if you need breakfast or lunch or if you are having a severe case of drunken munchies and need some sustenance to soak up the alcohol.

Small hole in the wall spot. Only a few tables and stools at the bar. Great service! Tried the hamburger w/ american cheese & grilled onions. Cheese and toppings are extra. It comes with meat/condiments/pickles/lettuce/tomato. Burger cost about $16 with everything which is pricey to me. Burger was very good though!!! I like that they put alot of pickles. My husband tried the 24/7 breakfast plate. Everything tasted fresh! Debit/credit only, no cash. Checkout at register. If there is a wait, you wait outside in a line.

If you're looking for an amazing burger at a nonchalant spot... this is the spot for you! It's a pretty small space but there's counter seating and about 5 tables. The burgers are bomb, the waffle was HEAVENLY AND you must get the chilli. The service was great, they have one person running around taking orders, one cook and one dishwasher but they make it work!

Great place for a late night hangover. Otherwise it was just meh. The burgers weren't very seasoned and overcooked. Too much mayo. And the hashbrowns on one were slightly burned. My biggest complaint was the hour wait after ordering.

Food was good. Open 24/7 soo not amazing but it is definitely good and hits the spot. My turkey club was very refreshing after a long hot walk. At night this place is very packed and overwhelming. During the day was nice and chill we were able to order quick. Got a place to sit and our food was ready. Great location, service was also good. Super cute and cozy inside.

A quiet spot on the corner of Bourbon and Dumaine streets. This is a throwback to old school dinners. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the service is quick. It's the perfect place for after drinks and clubs on the strip. This is your wind down place, your respite before you go back out. If you need a bit and a place to sit and refuel, this is your spot

Nothing to write home about. Waitress told us to give her a min to order so the cook could catch up, then took another order of people who came after us. I got a basic breakfast plate and that's exactly what it was basic. I did try the clover jalapeño cheese balls, they were good. My husband had the bk hamburger and didn't like it "dressed" and the bread was too thick. It was alright. The payment is card only.

The 8oz filet mignon steak special is, dollar for dollar, the best steak I have ever had in a restaurant. Perfectly tender, marbled, and cooked and seasoned to perfection, and topped with a decadent garlic butter. Turtle Bay -- 4…read more Listen... this is MY spot. One of my favorite places and honestly one of the only places I'll sit down and eat in the French Quarter. I've been coming here for about 6 or 7 years now, and they are easily in my top three. The vibe? Dive bar, laid back, no fuss... but the FOOD? Don't sleep on it. Their menu is solid and I still haven't made it through everything yet. I've had the wings, which we actually got this visit but ate them so fast we didn't even get a picture. That should tell you enough right there. I've had the pizza, and my husband usually goes for a burger. Never any complaints. They've got plenty on tap and the drinks hit too. I love a good Electric Lemonade, but this time I kept it simple with an Angry Orchard. Now let's talk about what keeps me coming back... The steak. We got our old faithful, one of their signature steaks, the 10oz petite ribeye. This is exactly what made me fall in love with Turtle Bay in the first place. Normally it's around $13.95, comes with a twice stuffed potato and a slice of garlic bread. A DEAL. This time it was a little higher, but still under $15, which honestly is still more than fair with how prices are these days. And when I say it be hitting... it be hitting. Only reason this visit didn't get a full 5 stars? My steak was cooked a little over my liking. I usually go for medium, and this one leaned more done than I prefer. Not horrible, just not my usual perfection. But everything else? Still solid. The staff is always nice, always welcoming. I've never had a bad experience with them, and that matters. And I already know I'm coming back because I keep hearing the crawfish is FIRE. Yeah... I need to see that for myself. This is my happy place. Open 24/7, consistent, affordable, and just a real gem in the French Quarter. The Bay is Babe. Period.

Everything was disrespectfully delicious. Every bite had us questioning our life choices in the best way. By the end of the meal, we were all sleepy and completely defeated by how good the food was. The staff was on point, courteous, and polite. Our food came out hot, fast, and perfectly plated with consistency that never misses. We ordered the black-eyed pea chili and the muffuletta, and the sandwich completely stole the show. The bread was perfectly soft, and you can really taste the difference in quality with their in-house meats. The olive salad tied the whole thing together, complementing the rich, savory flavors perfectly. That being said, the space gets extremely crowded on busy days. It's tight enough that you'll likely have people bumping into your chair or brushing past you while you eat and walk through the dining room. The biggest downside was the service at the counter. The line to the cashiers was very disorganized. Instead of calling the next person in line, one cashier was pulling people up at random, which made the ordering process frustrating. Overall, the food is fantastic, but be prepared for chaotic crowds and a messy ordering system during peak hours.

New Orleans version of a NY bodega is where I found one of the best and most adorable shrimp po'boys. You'll have to put these directions into your phone, because the location is in the depths of the neighborhood district. It's walkable to and from the popular Canal Street, just much quieter and secluded. You won't be able to park on this particular street, but near by areas would allow for street parking. This is in fact a grocery store with a hot food market setup in the back. I was pleasantly greeted immediately as I entered by a gentleman stocking, and a nice lady behind the register. I immediately darted to the back of the store and saw the setup, simple with a bit of updated technology. You can order and pay at a tablet style screen, and wait for the magic to be made on the other side. It took about 5 minutes and I got a text my order was ready, the same gentleman who was stocking called out my name from the back and handed me a 12 inch shrimp po'boy for 12.00. This sandwich was incredible, loaded with crispy fried shrimp and fresh lettuce. The bun was soft and very fresh, I added extra pickles for an acidic flavor breakup to the fried fish and dough. The flavors were on point, very seasoned and perfectly cooked shrimp. I was very impressed by the price and quality....not to mention customer service. Pro Tip: My van driver mentioned to me before dropping me off at the hotel, a lot of people walk Burbon Street and turn around when it becomes residential. But there is actually a ton of life and experiences to be had off the beaten path, both local and authentic.

The service was fantastic with the hostess seating us for our reservation right away and the waiter being incredibly patient and helpful during our dinner. We had someone in our party love the playlist here so much they asked the bartender for it as well. The menu is bold and complex but they were happy to strip it back to basics if needed. It was extremely cold in the restaurant though, so make sure to dress warm, especially in the colder months. We ordered their cast iron cornbread, chicken sandwich (no pickles or hot sauce), and their special of the night which was a pork-veal mix sausage on a milk bread bun and topped with sauerkraut. The cornbread was dry but the flavor was good. The butter they gave with it had cajun spices infused and gave it a nice zip although it was a bit too salty. Their fried chicken sandwich was delicious, light and crispy with salty shoestring fries that hit the mark. Lastly, their house special of the sausage was great. The sausage itself was well seasoned and the bun was soft and sweet. It was a bit salty with the added sauerkraut but the mix of flavors was still delicious. We also ordered a drink, just erotic not kinky, which was delicious. It's a bourbon with blackberry and lemon juice that was strong and refreshing at the same time. Sylvain is a culinary delight surrounded by an area that demands it. The food could be a tick better but it is still very, very good with fantastic service to bolster it. Whether you want a casual dinner or to drink cocktails in the French Quarter, this is a spot that is worth a look and your money, especially if you're with a big party.
