friendly , reasonable rates, excellent technology, and on time!!! my 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser with 375,000 miles started to show some abnormal wear on the front end and shimmy a little bit I took it into Dan's. They immediately identified the problem as a worn tie rod ending! ordered the part it arrived on time they replaced the tie rod ending no more shimmy, they rotated all my tires on their computerized rotation machine. The machine was wonderful. It described where the imbalance was on the wheel and the technician was able to correct immediately. the car moved to the laser guided computerized Hunter alignment rack to find my front alignment was out of specification. The alignment computer displayed exactly what the measurements for my vehicle were and how to correct them. 10 minutes later done to better understand what had happened I took a picture of the screen on the computer with the new dimensions and I cut and pasted it into the question line for GROK AI program and asked GROK to explain the results! Holy crap I think I got a masters degree in front end alignment in terms that I could understand wow everything is great. Looking forward to getting 400 K. So I needed some tires (1 actually), and I needed to find a new, customer friendly tire shop. So I called Dan's in Paso and the Owner, Jose was very courteous and respectful. I only needed 1 tire and it was as if I had bought the whole place. The employees were cheerful and they got right to it. The last place I went I was told I HAD to be on time to my appointment or else re schedule. I was on time and still waited for 30 min. Anyway, enough about that other guy....The fellas were quick to point out damage on the wheel (which I was directly responsible for by the way) and that was very refreshing. He took time on the phone to go over what kind of tires I was needing for the type of vehicle I have. They were able to order them and get my vehicle in the next morning. I needed new front brakes for my Dodge Ram 2500 pick up. I called and they got me an appointment the very next morning. I wanted to upgrade to heavy duty brake pads and rotor. He ordered the parts and got them later that afternoon. I brought it in at 9am and it was done by 10am. He also rotated my tires and checked my rear brakes. No extra charge. They even doubled checked by having a more experienced technician also come & take a look at the tires. They did all this and didn't even charge me! We were traveling through on 101 down to the Skull & Roses music festival in Ventura when TWO of the tires on one side of our travel trailer started smoking! (Fortunately a friend was behind us and alerted us before disaster struck!) We pulled over, found the tread was gone on one of them and the next was about to blow. One more minute and it would have been ugly. We had only had one spare. So we made calls to AAA, etc and eventually realized that we were one exit away from Dan's. So we limped in very slowly and pulled our big truck and trailer up in front of the shop. Several of the guys stopped what they were doing to help us, and in about 45 min we were back on the highway with four brand new tires (yes four....just to be on the safe side!).
