Outstanding Service -- Honest, Professional & They Know Their Stuff! I don't hand out 5-star reviews very often, but these guys absolutely earned this one! I recently needed a 4-wheel alignment on my 1986 Honda Accord, and finding a shop willing to work on an older vehicle these days can be a challenge. I called several places, and then I spoke with Robert. Right away, he was courteous, professional, and simply said, "Bring it in, no problem." That got my attention. When I arrived, they were extremely busy with tire sales, but Robert got me checked in, explained what to expect, and told me I could grab a seat or take a walk while they worked on the car. The shop was clean, organized, and very well run. Now, I'm 60 years old, and I'll be the first to admit I'm pretty picky about who works on my vehicles. I've been burned by mechanics before, and because I do a lot of my own mechanical work, I know when someone is giving me the runaround. I watched the young technician who handled my alignment, and I have to say -- this young man knew exactly what he was doing. He was professional, careful, and proficient. Once the alignment was finished, he explained everything to me clearly and answered my questions without trying to sell me something I didn't need. And that's what impressed me most: No BS. No pressure. No unnecessary repairs. No games. Just honest, straightforward service and a job done right. My old Accord now drives like a champ. After all the work I've put into bringing this car back, getting it to drive this good again was extremely satisfying. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional, and I genuinely appreciate that. This place is a hidden gem. Don't overlook them just because they're tucked away by Lowe's on the corner lot. If you need tires, an alignment, or service, I highly recommend giving these guys a chance. Robert, the alignment technician, and the entire crew -- THANK YOU for taking care of my old Honda and doing the job right! I'll definitely be back. read more

Amazing service and people! Treated my Tesla with so much care. Brandon and Jovanni and team are incredible. Thank you again!!!!

Stopped in due to a tire pressure signaling it was low. I found a nail in the middle, came in and fixed it no problem. They did try to sell me more tires and wipers. After done I drove off and notice my tire pressures were not balanced as the normally check before a customer drives off. read more

Recently I took my car here (where I've gotten tires multiple times in the past) to have my tire pressure censors replaced. I came here because their quote was nearly half what my regular mechanic quoted. That's the only good part. I brought my car in and was told the service would take about 45 minutes. It was returned to me in only about 30 minutes, which I thought was a positive at the time....would later discover this was more a sign of trying to do a job too fast and not getting it right. When I picked up my car, I was told the low tire pressure dash light would stay on for another 20 minutes and then reset and turn off, and that my display would return to showing the pressure readings in all tires.....not true. I drove the car home to Atascadero...light stayed on and censors still not showing pressures. I later ran an errand to Santa Maria (at least 60 min round trip)....censors still not reset. I had to drive back to their location in Paso to have them address it; turns out the technician did not push the reset button that's under the steering column. Then, the next day, two of my tires were nearly flat. My husband checked and both were leaking air, which he said was because the valve stems were not tightened enough, something the store can only do properly. So back again I go (now third trip for same issue). The front desk staff said they would inspect all four tires and address any issues found. They tried to return it after addressing only one of the tires that had been leaking air. It was only after my husband insisted AGAIN that they check all of the tires, which they finally did and agreed there was a second tire that was leaking air. Given that I was trading in the vehicle that very week (for a new car purchase) and needed a dash without warning lights, this repeated failure to do a thorough job caused me so much stress that I will never return here for any servicing again. Clearly the staff are not fully attentive to (and trying to rush through) their tasks. read more

They had to replace the battery in my Fusion Hybrid and didn't have the right one in stock. So they got the right one elsewhere and gave me a discount as I had to wait there for 1-1/2 hours. I highly recommend them. They are courteous and very knowledgeable. Thumbs up. read more

While I usually prefer to buy from local retailers, when it comes to tires ATC is hard to beat on price and service. I drove an extra 10 miles on a donut tire just to buy my next set of tires here. They were helpful, communicative and quick. Scheduling online was easy and I felt satisfied at every point in my purchase. read more

This is my go to tire shop in Paso. I travel weekly between here and Temecula so I can go through a set of tires yearly. Service is A+ from install or just my scheduled free rotation/balancing. The app makes everything so easy from ordering tires to setting up an appointment. The pricing is great especially with the additional Military discount. My last order kind of got messed up due to another store selling the tires I ordered. The store manager, Joshua, made things right by providing me in stock tires at no extra charge. The entire crew here has been great and I highly recommend this store! read more

On 12-24-25, my family and I were heading back to Bakersfield. My wife noticed a funny sound while driving home, and it turns out the trailer tire was ripped and about to burst. We were able to change the tire with the help of AAA. My wife wanted to get tire replaced with the new tire. I panicky called American Tires and the manager answered. I asked the store hours, since it was Christmas Eve, they closed at 1pm. We were there in 15 minutes. The team at American Tires were truly amazing and showed a sense of urgency! Not only they were able to fix the tire but took time and effort to replace the other tires needing a replacement! Now remember this was on Christmas Eve and the team American Tires at Paso Robles on golden hill road took care of us. That's true customer service! read more

They were so kind at checking my tire pressure after my light came on. I would buy all my tires here.

The staff of America's Tire were friendly and more importantly, quick and efficient. The prices for my tires were very comparable to that Costco, which is an hour drive from my home. I would recommend this company or anyone who needs tires. read more

I made a great choice for a tire purchase. Very fair pricing with an $80 discount if you buy all four. Well, alright alright. I felt the staff was very professional, and handled me right from the get go. We went thru options for my vehicle, and I chose. The ones I chose weren't in stock, but in a few days, they came in. I made an easy appointment (by phone, but you can also do it online), brought the car in, walked to Starbucks, and in an hour...done. Happy. read more

Sitting here waiting for a tire repair! At one point not one car was in the service bays. Lots of employees doing nothing. A few working. I was told 45 min to an hour and it's been nearly 30 minutes and they haven't even taken my car in. Who is in charge? I see people coming in getting air checks and they are able to help them right away. I was also told they may not be able to repair. If that is the case I would like to know in a reasonable period of time! Not impressed at this point! I will follow up with a better review when service is completed. read more

Awesome experience at America's Tire! I have been going there for years for all my tire needs. They are always efficient, fair priced, and fast. This time I brought my Ford F150 , and my daughters Kia Sorento. We purchased 6 tires all together. My lugg nuts wouldn't come off. Egel, Adrian and Jovanny worked diligently to get me and my daughter out on the road again. I love this place! I can't say enough about the customer service. Thank you America's Tire for your years of service and for staffing such amazing employees! read more

I've purchased 14 tires here in the last 3 months. 4 on my daughter's Accord, 2 on my wife's Edge, 4 on my Camry, 4 on my Tacoma. Last visit SLO put the Tacoma on the lift and removed all tires only to determine they had only 2 tires available. They tried to sell me a cheaper tire but instead went to Paso where I waited 1.25 hours before they started on the second set of two. Yesterday I called Americas Tire to discuss 4 more tires and told them I would be there at 8:10am and they mentioned they start tires at 8:30. No worries. Paying cash and needed 4 tires on my mom's Camry. But after waiting another 1.5 hours I've come to the conclusion that they did not make an "appointment" for me and that you SHOULD NOT come here unless you have a set appointment in stone. Typically pretty good to work with, just make an appointment. In this case I called Big Brand Atascadero and they accommodated as soon as I arrived 10 min later. read more

Had an appointment at 12. Walked in 5 minutes early. Was not greeted. The bathrooms are a disaster. Garbage cans overflowing already at noon. If they have a cleaning service it seems like they have not cleaned in a week. Not a professional location anymore. read more

This is amazing tire shop with great customer service. They are fast and Eric is amazing customer service agent.

I went in to have my tires filled due to a low pressure warning light. The mechanic asked if he can just inspect my tire which had only 10k miles on it. I'm very lucky that he did, because he found, and showed me, the defect in the sidewall of the tire. Luckily he found this. I could have been stuck on the side of the road changing a tire or worse, in an accident. Thanks Austin for caring and taking the time to do it correctly. read more

So happy with these guys! The hospitality was amazing. I'm out here for a wedding and needed a patch on my tire from a nail it ended up going through the sidewall and they gave me a used tire on the house! Highly recommend America's tire!!! read more

I am a little late with this post but my experience at America's Tire was wonderful. I had a slow leek in a tire and A.D. walked me through the process. It was eventually ruled a flat and was patched. It is American Brand's policy to fix flats for free. Yet while I was waiting, I took the opportunity to observe the activity in the shop. Amazing. Never seen this much activity in an auto repair scenario. Everyone moving and active. No one standing around. I watched them take care of 3 cars before they got to me. I was a walk in. I was totally impressed with their service and work ethic. I would highly recommend this shop. Again A.D. was money. Very pleasant experience! read more

We got a flat while on a road trip, and they were able to help us immediately, and saved us, and saved our trip! Alidad was super awesome! Thank you guys! Phenomenal!! Highly recommend!! read more

The upsales here are getting really bad. They were saying my windshield wipers were worn, I put them on 3 days ago! I don't have a problem with upselling items that are needed, but to lie about it is unethical. Be carefully with this shop, will look for another place in the future. read more

I've been coming to this American Tire location in the Lowe's shopping center in Paso Robles for over a decade. Unfortunately, I've noticed a real decline in customer service over the past few years. I was always used to exceptional service here, so this change feels significant enough to mention.I'm not sure if management has changed, but there are many new faces, and it feels like a complete staff turnover. There are longer wait times in line without any acknowledgment, and longer waits when pulling up for tire service. Additionally, the staff doesn't seem as knowledgeable about tires, warranties, and related details as they used to be, so I recommend doing your own research beforehand. In the past, there were exceptional employees who took the time to explain everything thoroughly. It seems like the new team could really benefit from additional training. I hope this location can get back to the level of service it was once known for. read more
