Thai iced tea. It wasn't good unfortunately
Chanel D.

Just ate here and honestly I'm so sad because I heard such great things from so many people. It's right next to my gym and I pass it everyday. I'm currently home feeling sick. I don't know if it's the food or just a mind thing but I'll start from the beginning about my experience. On my receipt I believe our servers name was Hunter, such a kind guy. He had curly hair and gave his suggestions on the food. He mentioned he loves spice I def trusted him and I'm not saying he didn't deliver he's great he suggested what I was already looking at. Ordered the tumeric fried chicken wings with the house made cilantro mayo which was good. Also ordered the happy Madison chicken wonton soup. Also excellent soup! Entrees were pickled sichuan fish & salt & white pepper crispy chicken. This is where I became dissatisfied. The chicken tasted so good then when I looked down I noticed it wasn't fully cooked. The dish texture was so off I picked it up with my chopsticks and it just flopped. It just wasn't right. I tried it anyways and realized it was way past my spice level so I asked if there was anything we could do about it. I honestly water a different entree at that point but it wasn't suggested. The waiter got the manager and the manager came with two solutions. It came back not as spicy which was great but the texture still wasn't sitting right with me. I tried and I just couldn't stomach it but didn't have the heart to keep having the manager come to the table. It felt embarrassing. I would try to come back and maybe get completely different orders but then I thought about the Brussels sprouts (just ok) and the drinks... again just okay. I feel like they definitely are good to most people but I've traveled a lot and have had amazing food this just missed every mark in my opinion. I love the ambiance of the place. Seemed to be a good atmosphere. The seating options outside were nice. Having the door open when the weather was nice this evening was great as well. It's just I feel like if I return back to this place I'll feel like I've wasted money twice. I just recently had another place with a similar menu that tops this place and the price was better. I'm so disappointed now everyday I drive by it my stomach will probably turn!

Overall: 9/10 Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Value: 7/10 This place is absolutely amazing! Great food and service! The dishes are amazing and plentiful. Don't miss this place if you're in the area.

The food was ok. I ordered the cumin lamb with hand pulled noodles. They ran out of noodles so it took extra time to make, and when it an arrived they gave me chicken instead of lamb. The noodles were good but the cumin flavor didn't go well with the chicken, and the dish was a little wet for my taste. The spicy fries were good and hot, and not too spicy. I felt it was a little pricey for the portions overall.

Amazing authentic food and great service. Great place to have a private party with new party room.

Food was delicious! We got the homestyle fish, HH dan dan noodles, dry pepper chicken, and cumin lamb noodles. My favorites were the fish and chicken, but everything was flavorful and cooked well. Comparing this to other Sichuan restaurants in the area I do think the dishes are on the milder side so it would be good for people who can't handle spice as well, but I do feel like it was less greasy than other places like Chengdu which I prefer. My personal favorite Sichuan spot is Forever in KOP there's more spice and not too greasy. Since we ordered from the HH menu we were placed in the lounge but were seated in the corner which caused the waiter to forget about us. Service could've been more attentive especially since we primarily ordered on the normal dinner menu.

Nice happy hour experience. $3 Prima Pils draft pint and plenty of seats at the bar. Quick service. Great Dan Dan noodles!!

I admit I'm picky when it comes to trying Chinese cuisines. When my dining party wanted to have an impromptu lunch here, I was initially a bit hesitant, but eventually caved. In the end, I'm glad I stopped by! The waiting staff were very friendly, and service was prompt and attentive. I had also just purchased a tub of ice cream from a local farm, and they were very kind letting me borrow the freezer while we dined there. I have to say the food was delicious. There were a lot of Taiwanese dishes, so if you like Chinese food but are looking for more of a Taiwanese spin, this is a good place to try. The menu is in both English and Chinese, so it's helpful having bilingual reading options for the table. As it was a late lunch, it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant has a large, modern interior, so I imagine it can get quite busy during peak hours. I'd look forward to visiting again at night some time!

Spicy Beef Hand-Ripped Noodle - sliced braised beef on top of hand ripped noodles with chili oil and bok choy

Came here on a Saturday night to pick up to-go. The restaurant was packed when I arrived but they had my order all ready to go so I was in and out. I ordered the Spicy Beef Hand-Ripped Noodles. I have to say, not worth it and was rather unimpressed with this dish. The noodles texture was ok, nothing special. The beef was cooked just fine, I just believe this dish lacked a lot of flavor. I wouldn't order again. I also ordered the Dan Dan Noodles to share as an appetizer. Wow, I wished I had ordered that as my main entree. It came with flour-lo mein, sesame paste, soy sauce, chili oil, minced pork, and scallions. The flavor of this noodle was rich and perfectly flavored. I love the little kick to this dish and definitely reasonably priced. Overall, I find this place ok, wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for but if close by, pretty good spot to have lunch or dinner. My entree and my boyfriend's entree ended not being very great but the Dan Dan noodles is something I'd definitely come back for.

More like 3.5 stars. Interior design is 5 stars. Food is 4 stars: 3 cup chicken is good as always; Taiwanese minced pork rice with egg is disappointing again--very little flavor and meat, as well as poor presentation. The seasoned egg wasn't done most appropriately. It's my second try of this rice dish, just to confirm my first impress wasn't their best attempt. Service is truly lacking--it's challenging even to get a soda refill; soda is kinda flat too.

Food is excellent. It can be very busy and then service is slower. Hard to flag down a server.

Service was great, although the dimsum itself is self-serve (you go to the steamer cart instead of the steamer cart coming to you). I made a beeline to Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings and was seated immediately. The large restaurant was filled with tables and booths decorated in a clean, modern decor. Service was quick and friendly. They had those robot machines that deliver orders, but I only saw them utilized a few times during my visit. The rest, including myself, were served by people. I got a classic pork XLB, fried pork chop, and bok choy w/garlic sauce. I also ordered 2 orders of XLB to go for someone who ate somewhere else but still wanted some soup dumplings. The food came out quickly, and I like how I was given a pair of tongs to safely open and close the steamer basket lid. This was great, so I could keep the lid on between bites. I was a bit wary when I saw the dumplings, as they appeared to have a really tall pleated section of wrapper. I thought it might be too doughy. Thankfully, the wrapper skins were thin, and it wasn't too much wrapper to filling ratio. The dumplings were filled with lots of broth, which hit the spot on that cold night. The porkchops were flavorful and nice and tender, and those sauteed green leafy vegetables satisfied my craving. They did a great job with my to-go order, too. The soup dumplings & their accessories were packed up in an insulated bag--nice touch! What a great surprise to find Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings at the mall. I really needed that great food after so many fast-food meals. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
