Vegetable dumplings, massaman curry-chicken, and drunken noodles-beef
Elizabeth M.

We ordered takeout on a Saturday night. A few of my questions couldn't be answered (what vegetables are in the vegetable pad Thai?) but the service was prompt, courteous and correct! We received ample, tasty portions as described in the menu. We look forward to going in person another time!

Ive tried many pad thai's before, this is a solid contender for one of the best I've had. Their drunken noodles weren't bad either although not in my top. Spice level, if you have a high tolerance for spice I would still recommend medium at max. They got the authentic spice levels We weren't able to order cocktails on Friday night because there wasn't a bartender. Granted it was somewhat early? (7-8pm) but still weird We had to wait a little longer than usual to receive our checks when we were done eating. They were quite busy. I would love to come back try out what else they have in the menu. Still think they could've name it Thai me up instead of Tai but I might be missing some history there!

Drunken noodle with chicken and massaman curry. Not a great pic but very good

Ordered takeout from here the other night which was a little confusing upon arrival. I walked in the main entrance and was told I needed to go around to the back of the building. Walked around to a back lot through some buildings and saw a staircase leading up to a door that said it was for DoorDash, grubhub, and takeout. The vibe was a little off? Walked into an empty room with no employees and a shelf which was a little strange. No biggie though, order was ready on time. Anyway, as for the food, this was hands down the best massaman curry I've ever had. It was not overly spicy, as I ordered it mild, and the sweetness of the coconut was wonderful. It was a normal serving of veggies. On the menu it said it had carrots, potato, and onion, but the order I got also had broccoli and string beans. I did order extra veggies in it, so I'm not sure if that was just the extra portion or what but it didn't seem like I received extra. I also ordered drunken noodle with extra chicken. I ordered this mild as well but this was much spicier than I expected, which is fine! I will say they got the extra chicken portion right on this, as I had so much in my container. The peppers were cooked down nicely and gave a great flavor to everything surrounding it. The chicken was cooked well and the noodles weren't over done at all. The only reason I didn't give this place five stars was the price for the portion you get and the confusing pickup location with no employees. Just see this being easy access to take someone else's order. I was expecting a bigger container for the curry and there was not enough rice for it. I'd order again though.

This has been our go to lunch spot for a while now. The ambiance itself makes it worth a visit. Food is great and tastes great. We tried Drunken noodle which has a nice balance of spice and sweetness. Street Noodles with loads of fried chicken with rice noodles is a hit always. The spice level is something to be aware of. Medium is what I go for and it can get real spicy after that (not for the faint of stomach and heart). Their non alcoholic drinks can get a little too sweet but they still taste decent. I would recommend this.

Came back with a slightly bigger group the other night and still have the same thoughts from my first review. The service was OUTSTANDING, decor is adorable and establishment is very clean and big. The food is very good, but not my favorite Thai restaurant. However, it satisfies my cravings and hits the spot! We ordered all dishes to share. Ordered the Dungeness crab Rangoon, papaya salad, chicken pad Thai, vegetable green curry and chicken Thai fried rice. The winner was the fried rice! We ordered it medium spicy and it was absolutely delicious. We all had the same thoughts about the pad Thai as last time. The crab Rangoon was also delicious. Byo spot that I still recommend you trying if you're ever in the area, AND the prices are amazing!

Might be my favorite restaurant of all time. Thai tea is so good and so is the lime ginger fizz for drinks. Food recommendations would definitely be kow soi with chicken as number one, then pad see you and drunken noodles. Thai basil is really good too! For apps I love the dumplings and spring rolls. Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, I still have lots to try myself but can't seem to stray away from the kow soi. Definitely go here if you haven't already! They have a rewards program as well (: Love this place so much

We made reservations and our table was waiting for us right when we walked in. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer. They came out nice and hot. Delicious. For our main meals, I got the green curry with shrimp and my mother got the pad Thai with chicken. Everything was delicious. Nice portion of shrimp. I just didn't care for the eggplant in the green curry. Everything came out promptly, warm and flavorful. The restaurant is so clean and is a BYOB. I can't wait to go back.

Amazing food. We will be back again and again. Good location but parking can be a challenge especially on a weekend.

Cute outdoor seating area with space heaters much appreciated during the winter. I got the fish tacos which were fine but not amazing. I love fried cod fish in fish tacos and these tacos had grilled fish instead, so not my favorite from the start. Very strong flavors with the mango salsa and sauce, couldn't taste much else. I also had the Prickly Pear Margarita, which didn't taste of prickly pear at all (as a lover of prickly pear candy and jam), but was still good. They had plenty of cocktail and IPA beer options! The winners for food here were the stuffed mushrooms and truffle fries, both appetizers. My boyfriend's burger looked amazing too, it was a charcuterie burger special, so I'd recommend the burgers. Pretty good, above average spot. 3.5 stars from me. I'd try it out if you need a place with seating enough for friends on the weekend in Phoenixville.

We stopped in here for a delicious lunch on an October Sunday afternoon. I started out with a Baron Von Steuben beer which is brewed locally in West Chester. Then, we split the Devil's Pass Dip appetizer which was excellent! I then had a Caesar salad and a bowl of Clam Chowder. I loved the soup, it was thick and creamy with lots of clams. My wife had the Julie's Farmer salad and my stepson had the Southwest Steak Tacos. We all enjoyed the food. Plenty of seating here with TV's to watch sports. All in all, this was a good find in a fun town!

The nachos were good with plenty of toppings and very fresh. For my meal I had the bourbon bacon cheeseburger with hand cup fries and my wife had a garden salad. The burger was done perfectly and very juicy with lots of flavor. My wife said her salad was also delicious and very fresh. The only disappointment was the fries. They were chewy and not crisp at all. They tasted like they were under a warmer for hours. The fries also were a very small portion size. I would not recommend getting the fries try one of the other sides. Overall I would give Lock 29 a try if you are in the area.

We saw ducks, a whole group of little baby ducklings, turtles...that alone would get me in the door! Service and food were thankfully also great. Our server was so sweet and kept apologizing for how long it would take her to return to our table even though I think it was a completely normal amount of time, so I super appreciate how attentive she was. Food was great. We got the hoagie dip which was delicious. I got the Mediterranean bowl with seared tuna and it was tasty, chickpeas especially cooked perfectly. My husband got the catfish po boy which was massive and had great flavor. Will definitely come back!
