The blood orange beer and tower station IPA were refreshing. If you like thin crust pizza, their flatbreads are crispy and delicious. I got a supreme which we should've shared it was so big. We stopped by Dam Bar & Grille while visiting Page, and overall it was a good experience. The food was great. The pizza flatbreads and pasta were definitely the highlight of the meal: fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly delicious. The biggest downside for us was the ambience. The inside feels pretty dark and dated, which takes away from the energy you'd hope for after a day of exploring the area. It could really use some brighter lighting. Took about 10 minutes before being seated and our server didn't even acknowledge us, she kept passing by our table about a dozen times before she came and take our order. The restaurant is divided into two areas. There is a sports bar and a dining room I love my drinks the freshest they can be, so we sat at the bar to be close to the source! The bar has a great selection of spirits and a pretty good selection of local and out of areas beers. For the appetizer, I ordered the pretzel sticks. They came with thick stone ground mustard and some jalapeno cheese dip. There were six sticks, and for two people, it was a lot. They tasted excellent! For dinner, we both had chicken sandwiches. My wife had grilled, I had fried. I like dry chicken and this place did not disappoint me. It was the way I like it! My wife on the other hand, didn't care for her grilled chicken. She said it was dry. She did however eat it, so it couldn't have been that bad! I had my sandwich with first, my wife had a salad. Both sides were really good. The 2 waitresses were very slow. There were only 6 tables, 2 had 4 people the other's had 1 to 2 people. There was 2 tables with people in when we came in. The other people came about 5 minutes after us. It took 50 minutes when we got our food. Thought that was bad enough but, my taco's were cold, so that took another 15 minutes to get them back. They were the special, they were very good. NO ONE came by to see if we needed drink's to be refilled or let us no how much longer the food would be. There was a very nice younger lady that was bringing food and drinks to everyone, she did best to help us. We have been coming here over 30 years and this was the worst service ever. You need to get better waitresses and retrain the 2 older women, they have no clue of what's going on. We will see if this happens again. read more

The inside had a cute mock mural of the dam bridge and had little decor pieces reminiscent to AZ and the surrounding attractions. Ordered the BLT with avocado (labeled as a guest favorite on the menu) and the Santa Fe salad. The BLT was cold and so were the fries. Nothing to write home about. The Santa Fe salad had deep fried green chilies on top which were delicious but the dressing on it (which was supposed to be chipotle ranch) tasted so off. The flatbread pizzas are excellent, the fried chicken in the DBG bowl was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the beer flight for only 8.25 was the cherry on top! We had an excellent meal in a very attractive restaurant and bar. The decor is fabulous for a canyon and river area with boats, a wall that looks like a cement dam, oars, and a huge spring. The bar is a horseshoe shape in the front. Our server was too notch excellent. We had the prime rib with really good clam chowder. Also the DBG Bowl of hand breaded chicken, real mashed potatoes, fresh corn, country gravy. It was just as described and delicious. We both recommend this restaurant. The two times we ate at the restaurant part, the service was terrible (same waitress both times) the last time we NEVER got our meals, waited an hour after ordering then left after complaining to the female manager to no avail. While we were waiting we watched 4 other groups around us come and go being attended by other servers. We got some take out during a recent business trip to Page. I saw they had a French dip and I had to get it. The sandwich looked promising although there was a good amount of fat on the meat which wasn't pleasant to bite into each time. We drove into Page last night and decided to try somewhere new to eat. We tried the Dam Bar & Grille and here is my experience. The outside is in a strip mall lot and nothing fancy or jumping out to say try this place but we did. The inside was fairly big and decorated nicely. The food was quite pricey. Back home we can get more than a dozen wings for $18. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, 12 hot wings and my daughter saw someone order the onion rings so we got some. The onion rings were very very greasy. The wings were great and the pizza was just okay. The pizza was very bread-y tasting. The sauce was very tomato-y. It was okay though although we left half the pizza on the table when we left. The wings were very good. We got hot and they were hot but not too hot. The service was terrible. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy. The waiter was chatting with maybe locals, I don't know. He would look at our table but wouldn't stop to check on us. It took up to 15 minutes, maybe longer to get our water refilled. After refilling twice the third time he said really? We drink tons of water normally but we did order hot wings and the cups were half full of ice. If it bothered him he should have just left a pitcher. He seemed bothered to even check on us. We finally decided we were going to leave. Our plates were nicely stacked and he still didn't come with our bill so I finally put my card half off the table and he was right by. We come to Page often. I do not think we will be back to this place. If we do we will only order the wings and bring in our water bottles. read more
