After a long day of travel & canyon tours, we needed a good meal. The Barnyard was within minutes of where we were staying, so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted right away by the hostess and seated in a great spot outside. Carmencia was our server and she was attentive and beyond kind. Our party ordered the sirloin dinner and the grilled shrimp dinner; both were delicious, especially the shrimp! For dessert we split the apple tart, and let me tell you, it was one of the best desserts I've ever had. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We had been on the road for 6 hours, and just wanted a decent meal in a nice family friendly place. Read the reviews and since it was close to our hotel decided to give The Barnyard a try. Just what we needed! If you want a nice place with top notch service, fresh food and the nicest most attentive staff, this is THE place. Seriously. We each had the one time through salad bar and my husband added a steak. Perfectly done, healthy and not one bit of guilt after sitting on our butts all day. It was Saturday night and several people were having the prime rib. Their meat looked amazing and the baked potatoes were huge. Outside there is mini-golf that we would try if it hadn't been windy. Out front there are rocking chairs like at Cracker Barrel. You get nice quiet country music for background. A lovely experience. We are snowbirds and the meal was very reasonable. Cute restaurant and was empty for lunch on a Wednesday. Sydney the bar manager recommended a Caesar salad so that's what I went with along with a beer. Overall it was good, she's extremely nice and attentive to the customers needs. She also mentioned different events that are thrown there and a DJ on Fridays. Arrived Saturday afternoon with a group of 6. Some of us were golfing and two of us were not with plans to order food/hang out. When we first walked in, there was no one at the front counter. My friend and I left, opting not to spend our money here. The friends that stayed said the waitress became very friendly after we left and did not have any issues. Not sure what that was about, but my friend and I were happy to have found somewhere else. My friends had a great time golfing, but they had no nice things to say about the food unfortunately. Even though we were the only folks there in mid afternoon, the food was painfully slow coming out of kitchen, over an hour and most of it was overcooked. The waiter seemed overwhelmed with one table, he was insulting, my husband ordered onion rings for an upcharge of $4, was given fries instead, when I requested the onion rings he was annoyed even though he repeated our order as we gave it. When the onion rings did come there were 5 rings, shown in photo, husband ate most of one before I could take a photo. Additionally, his sandwich was supposed to be served with Au Jus, we had to REQUEST the Au Jus, which seemed to surprise and annoyed our waiter. Page, AZ has a great place for adults and kids alike!! Think Dave and Busters with a better view, and fewer electronics. Not pictured are the foosball tables, air hockey, basketball, and awesome board games. There's a full bar and you can take your drinks outside. So many fun activities or just a great place to grab a meal and relax. Our waitress was Korinna, and she was a delight. She treated us like old friends from the start. The food was great. I asked about any changes because previous reviewers indicated some inconsistencies in the meals--and our meals all came out great. They just opened in October 2023, and recently underwent a staff/chef change. The current chef is doing a great job and a new business will always have some hiccups. We were all happy with the portions and the menu offered options for us all. This is the sister restaurant to another Page establishment, Big John's Texas BBQ. The food was good. I ordered a Patty melt and I liked it, but it wasn't something I'd come back for. I would say that the drinks was where they lacked. They were overpriced for water downed drinks. There isn't much in this area. It's very tourisy. Although we didn't have a terrible experience, it's wasn't worth the money. It was a good one time experience. Stopped in for an early dinner after touring Antelope Canyon with Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours. Three of our group of four were happy to see Chicken Fried Steak on the menu. Two had the half order and one had a full order. Everyone said their meal was delicious and filling. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch salad with the dressing on the side. It was fresh, had generous toppings and the chicken was warm. The wait person was friendly and attentive. The restroom was co-ed, clean and spacious. The decor was western and the music was delightfully Contemporary Country. This restaurant had a pool table inside, calf roping, a small play structure, and corn hole among other outdoor games outside by the covered seating. The other side of the restaurant had a putt-putt golf course. We travel with our grandkids a lot and will definitely come here when we're in the area. read more

They were out of almost everything and the service was terrible. Even after our order was taken she brought out our food missing things and when we asked about it she would only then inform us that they were out of that item too. No offer of a substitute or anything until we asked and then we never received the substitutes. The food came out cold and the flavor missing. Then the bill came and we had been charged additional drinks and items that we never ordered or received. It took almost an hour and a half. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a very long time. Can't really rate the food because we never got it. Waited over an hour and a half for basic fried foods, again, that never came. Tried to order a beer twice and never got it. The server brought us a plate of fries as an apology but there was a hair in them. The place wasn't that busy so completely unexplainable what was going on. I respect how hard people in the food service industry work, but this was just awful. We had told our waitress that we needed a couple of minutes to figure out our order and ended up having to flag her down about 25-30 minutes later. The food then took about an hour or so to come out and it wasn't even consumable. BY FAR the worst steak I've ever had. $33 for a thin piece of leather that I wouldn't even give my dog out of fear that she'd choke. My girlfriend's burger was like a hockey puck on a bun when she asked for it to be cooked medium.
