I've been coming to RD's whenever I visit Page for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, over the last 5+ years, I've noticed the quality has steadily declined. We went through RD's Drive-In drive-thru after dinner to get a sweet treat after dinner nearby. The drive-thru line was long as RD's was one of the few restaurants open until 10. However, the line moved fairly quickly and opened up to several lanes. My guys and I got ice cream and floats. I opted for a butterscotch dipped cone, which was delicious. Came here for a quick birthday sweet treat and had a good experience. The drive thru line moves fast, there were lots of choices, and the prices can't be beat! The service was quick and friendly. I got a watermelon swirl cone and we also had an orange slush. Both were good, but nothing too exciting. We were on our way back home 60mi South of Phx from SLC, UT and saw this place 2 nights before as we were driving to UT. Glad I took this route back so we could experience this cool spot! Nice treat After visiting Horseshoe Bend while on vacation, it was time for ice cream. There were not many choices around, and most were closing for the day. We ended up heading to R D's, not so much an ice cream place, more fast food. We found the restaurant easily enough and even managed to park, only to learn the lobby was closed. That left us using their busy drive-thru. Without being able to get inside, no menu posted outside, no website link on Yelp, we reached the ordering spot without any idea what we wanted. Turned out the choices were limited, four different sizes of vanilla soft-serve with three cone dip options. It still took us a minute, and I thank the order taker for being patient with us as I described the choices to our granddaughter. I ordered the cone dipped in butterscotch, a very pretty looking cone. Once we got the treats we drove away and found parking at a less busy parking lot down the street. When we go on vacation- I try to find local businesses to support when it comes to eating out. Non chain restaurants, "mom and pop" lil hole and the wall places. Page is definitely not a big place and choices besides the local fast food joints were not that many. On one of the nights we were there, we got in late after a day of exploring and we didn't feel like a sit down place and we opted for burgers here. Yelp reviews were pretty good on yelp so I had bookmarked this place for our trip. However, it was not worth the nearly $40 bill at all. The inside was not open when we got there so we went thru the drive thru. There were a few cars already in line when we joined. The menu was very big. Both burgers and some Mexican food and ice cream. We opted for 5 junior double cheeseburgers combos with fries and tater tots. We asked for the sauces that came on the burgers on the side: ketchup and mayo. they charge for extra sauces so I asked for 2 ranch. When we got to the window, the woman was not friendly at all. When my husband was handing over our credit card he asked if they had a military discount by chance , she curtly said No and slammed the window shut. ZERO Friendliness or gratitude for choosing to come here than Burger King or Mcd's. The food was FAR from worth the price! The ranch was watery and not worth the extra charge. (It would have been if homemade) out double cheeseburger patties shared ONE slice of cheese! As in the took half a square of cheese and put it in one patty and put the other half on the other patty!!! REALLY?!?! WOW! And did they add or offer the mayo and ketchup we asked for on the side? Nope. of course we did not notice til we got to our hotel. I passed the front desk on the way in after realizing this and asked the front desk agent if we can have some ketchup and mayo. I exasperatedly told her it was because they forgot to add it in our bag. She took one look at our greasy brown bags and said oh you went to RD's and nodded- she went on to comment that they aren't very friendly there and not at all generous with extras like sauces there. Their fresh banana shake is to die for! We were pleasantly surprised to see how fast the line was moving. Trust me, there was a line of cars in the drive through. Well, prefer not to leave bad reviews, but wish someone would have saved me the $25. A single deluxe, a green chili burger, a fried zucchini and an onion ring. We generally don't eat at burger shops, but sometimes in an out of the way town, there's a gem. This wasn't it. (Drive thru) Long lines even at 3pm! Service was fast and friendly. They really know how to work a fryer. Delicious onion rings, tots, and zucchini. A bit on the pricey side compared to some of the fast food places down the road but good to buy local. While everything was nicely packed to minimize sog and squish during transport, they unfortunately use styrofoam for the burgers. I hope this can be changed in the future to something more earth friendly. Please note that they serve breakfast. Just passing through Page on our way home to California. Was looking for something quick, casual, and yummy after a long 9 hour drive. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger, chili cheese dog, fries, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. Was so pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty everything was. Smack!! Pull threw the drive thru and was amazed at all they had to offer. Ordered the double patty combo burger with onion rings and a root beer. Then I seen the sauces. Had to add the fry sauce, tartar sauce and some ranch. Dip those onions rings "which were prepared to perfection " in the tartar sauce that combo go crazy! Overall everything was good. Was especially surprised on how the lady who took my order was polite and on top of her game the way she repeated my order back to me. Only problem I have is that I don't live closer to this spot. I was a little disappointed when I got my ice cream cone here. The line was long, so I figured it was a great place to stop. They did have a very unique "krunch cone" which was crushed heath bars and sprinkles rolled on vanilla ice cream. I got a chocolate dipped cone and ask for chocolate ice cream, but got vanilla. I'm guessing all they have is vanilla ice cream even when you ask to have a different flavor. Anyways, try this place and hopefully you'll have a better experience!:) read more

Stumbled on this place late at night when no other restaurant in town (except Denny's and McDonalds) was serving food, and so glad I found it. Looks like it's been here for 100 years and greets you with neon advertising burgers, hot dogs, Mexican food, ice cream, seafood and shakes. And it's a drive-thru. Amazing!! Ordered the double deluxe with cheese and bacon with a side of onion rings and they didn't disappoint. Burger was reminiscent of a Big Mac, but homemade on the grill and super flavorful and juicy. Even had the sesame seed bun. Onion rings we're maybe frozen, but fried up crispy and good. Top it off with vintage video games, checkered floors and cafeteria tables and the experience is complete.
