Food was good (normal diner stuff - I do recommend the Chile rellano), but holy cow was the service was inconsistent. The first table we got seated at was extremely wobbly so we moved to a round table that had four chairs at it; then we got told we couldn't sit at that round table because it was a five person seating table so we moved again. We had to wait 15 mins for refills on our coffee so we asked for a pot to share. The coffee came in a decaf pot, but supposedly was regular. We got told no to adding jalapeños on top of our breakfast order so they had to come in a separate dish on the side and we had to add them ourselves. Also, we got charged an extra $1 for them putting the gravy on top of our biscuits rather than it coming on the side. Ridiculous! One more thing, I tried to pay in cash and that took an extra 15 mins also since they had to run to the back for change. I think they expect most people to pay with card. read more

We stopped here for a bite after a 9-hour drive from San Diego. They served breakfast and lunch, so some of us had breakfast while others had lunch. I had half of the Philly cheesesteak and half of the page special sandwich. Both were good, but I liked the Philly cheesesteak more. It came with a very generous serving of sweet potato fries. I was pleasantly surprised that the upgrade from regular fries to sweet potato fries was free. The fries were really crispy and fresh cut. I had a taste of the buttermilk pancakes. They were light and fluffy. Overall, we enjoyed the food here and our waitress was really pleasant. She gave us some tips of what to see while we were in Page, AZ and told us how to get to the secret cave that was a few miles down the road. read more

When we ordered, we had very high expectations but it took a long time for the food to come out. We thought that the waiter was also the chef because no other guests had food. We're still not sure if he was the chef. When the food came out, my partner visibly look disgusted when he saw the eggs. The eggs look greasy and they also tasted very greasy and they didn't look right. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was pretty much the worst I have had in my life. The hashbrowns were disgusting. They were crunchless and fully limp. The worst part of the meal was the rice. It tasted like it had been steamed in someone's butt crack. I spit it out. The beans looked to have been refried multiple times. The best part of my partner's meal was the toast which was burnt and so the only thing that saved it was the jam. We had an assortment of breakfast options, including, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, several types of eggs, has browns, sausage and coffee. Everything you would expect from a breakfast place is what the Ranch House Grille is. Service was good, food arrived quickly and wait staff was friendly. Lots of places to eat in Page, so I cannot rate it relative to others. I am sure there are other more high end and low end places in the city but you will be fine with Ranch House Grille. read more

Definitely did not go stingy on that! I wanted something healthy but not too filling, so I ordered the grilled chicken wrap. Between the fact that they used low calorie dressing and stuffed it with spinach, I was beyond happy. Yes, it's a plain-Jane item, but it was everything I wanted. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon. There were 2 other parties in the dining room. the food was mediocre at best. Ordered a steak and despite their lack of business it arrived at the table cold and very chewy. The server was barely attentive and did not come back to check on us until the meal was almost fully eaten. When she was told of the condition on the food, there was little concern expressed. During a recent visit with my friends, I requested a mushroom burger with curly fries after being prompted by the server. However, I was served a bacon burger with Swiss cheese and regular french fries instead, despite asking for a medium rare burger. Even though my friend who ordered after me received curly fries with her junior-sized meal, I was informed that the fryers had been closed when I tried to rectify the mistake. This level of service was unprofessional, as I believe that a customer's order should be corrected appropriately rather than being replaced with a completely different meal and still got charged for the wrong meal. Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday before exploring the area. We only had to wait 10mins for a table. Hubby ordered the steak and eggs special. He's never had Steak for breakfast (other than chicken fried), and it was not what he expected as it appeared to be tenderized or just a thinner piece than he thought. But the flavor was great, it was well seasoned and cooked to his specifications. It was a decent piece of meat with very little fat. It was delicious and tasty! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns were delicious. I ordered the veggie omelet no mushrooms and some extra veggies. I love that the eggs were cooked well (I don't like when the inside of the omelet feels slimy or like both sides aren't cooked) and it was packed with veggies. The hash browns were crisp and I didn't need to add any salt!! Tia was fantastic and so patient and helpful with all my questions (I am picky and also have food sensitivities). We decided to have breakfast before our Antelope Canyon tour. Ranch House Grille looked great on Yelp and wasn't a franchise so we elected to go there. They were extremely easy to find and had a spacious private lot to park in. We were greeted and seated within moments of arriving. Our server was Baileigh and she was amazing! 5 stars on customer service from her. The restaurant must be popular because they filled up quickly. We loved the decor as it was Native American items on the walls of the restaurant. Staff were wearing masks and even their restrooms were very clean. The servers all used tablets to put customers orders in which was great. It didn't even take long for the kitchen to get our orders out. Mink and I ordered a Southwestern Country Fried Steak, Breakfast Sandwich, a side order of a Pancake and 2 Coffees. The coffees came out quick and hot. It was perfect because it was cold outside. Baileigh kept our cups filled and even provided us to go cups of coffee. Both the orders came with hash brown and mine came with toast. I really enjoyed the Southwestern Country Fried Steak since it has been awhile since I had country fried steak. Their Homemade Pork Chili Verde was a perfect vs the tradition gravy. Mink really enjoyed her sandwich and pancake. Portions are huge and we couldn't finish it all. This was the perfect breakfast before our tour and we definitely recommend this place. read more

It was hot and tasty The server asked me if I wanted a biscuit instead of toast. Unbeknownst to me it was an up sell. The biscuit was not great and the gravy with it was pasty and bland. Do not order the biscuit and gravy. My wife ordered a bowl of green chile and is was more like green chile gravy than what we are used to for New Mexican cuisine. This was one of the saddest, most disappointing breakfasts I've ever had. Thought anything would be better than the free buffet at our hotel but I was wrong. My 'Spanish' omelette ($14.50) was scorched, tasted funky and the 'chilis' were from a can, like Rotel or probably a cheaper brand and if there was avocado in it as specified on menu, the pieces were microscopic. Everything tasted like it was of the cheapest ingredients. Knew it wasn't the kind of place were you complain and there's anything better to be brought out, knew a remade omelette that was obviously made of fake eggs poured from a carton couldn't be much better, even if not scorched. Coffee was awful too. Our breakfast for two was $40 after tax & tip and I did and up eating some of the hotel breakfast bar crappola as to fill up for the day which only made me feel sadder : ( I suppose they feel they don't even have to try because customer base is mostly tourists who'll never return anyway. The food came out quickly, but it was just okay. I had a sausage and cheese omelet that was very light on the cheese despite the menu saying it had both cheddar and jack. The sausage was chopped up link sausage cooked into the body of the omelet, not as filling. It was fine but there are other places to eat. My companion had the standard breakfast and said it was okay. It's in an old motel that's been converted to offices. The inside of the restaurant is cavernous with very little decor. Bizarrely it has the front end of a red car attached to the wall. We went here because of the great reviews and felt misled. We had a craving for a French dip and this was the only place on our way back from Utah that had one. It was super difficult to choose a dish because everything sounded and looked good. Both dishes were good and I can see why the chili is award winning. The only slight downside is that half of our fries were over cooked and inedible. In the movie "Cool Hand Luke" there is a famous line that goes: "What we have here is a failure to communicate." That pretty much sums up our experience (10/4/24). When the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink, I said two glasses of water - he brought one. I asked for decaf coffee to be poured into my insulated container - he brought a mug of luke warm coffee. I ordered a 3-egg omelette with bacon and cheddar cheese - he brought an omelette with ham. My wife ordered hash browns cooked with onions for which there was an extra charge. Guess what? No onions. We had to flag him down to get the check. Because we had been waiting for a while for the check, we asked him to wait so we could pay and leave - he walks away from the table prolonging our growing aggravation. He probably expected a tip.
