This place is ok nothing special. Quick in and out kinda place. I asked for a steak bean and cheese burrito and they put rice in it and I am not a fan of rice. We went through the drive through so didn't know there was rice in the burrito until we got back to our room The flavor was okay. I do really like their avocado salsa that made the burrito better. My hubby got the carne asada tacos he said it was good. I like small hole in the wall kind of places so we gave this place a try. The service was great. Needed a quick bite as we were getting to Page late. Seems like fast food but the quality is better. Got the carnitas burrito and it was stuffed with pork- wasn't fatty- chips and pico was a hearty portion. Rollled tacos were like understuffed taquitos....better with cheese and quacame. Grabbing a quick dinner in Page after a long day of exploring, we decided to hit their drive thru and bring the food back to our hotel to eat. Drive thru was quick and efficient. Food was nothing special. We got carne asada fries and an order of rolled tacos, which were basically taquitos. Both were average at best. The rolled tacos were hard and crunchy, not in a good way. And they weren't filled with very much meat. But they did give plenty of guacamole to dip them in. Overall, this place was fine but I wouldn't go back. read more

We love Paco's Tacos so much! Please tag along for a little story time. This morning we pulled up to Pacos. Not a single car in the lot nor a single patron in the dining room. Our hearts skipped a beat as we thought it was closed FOREVER. A truly sad moment that would be. We cautiously proceeded to the drive thru and timidly waited all of 5 seconds before a friendly voice came on the speaker and said "welcome to Pacos tacos what can I get for you" we were stricken with such relief we told the gentleman we needed a minute to gather our thoughts. With fists in the air, we rejoiced. Even our 20lb chihuahua had his little paw up in the air as he also knows what a delight these burritos are. During an otherwise somewhat stressful vacation to Lake Powell, Paco's Tacos was a refreshing experience that left my boyfriend and I with our taste buds tickled and our bellies happy after both visits. The restaurant is super unassuming - it's right next door to another, larger chain Mexican place, and only painted windows on the building provide indication that there is, indeed, another restaurant right next door to this more widely known eatery. Inside the restaurant is really no different. If you're familiar with the typical layout of fast-casual places, Paco's Tacos is exactly that. The seating area is large enough to accommodate quite a few people, but still allows for a bit of privacy (so to speak) if you wanted to sit in an area that wasn't full of groups - which was precisely what we were looking for. As far as the interior and ambiance are concerned, the infrastructure and décor are definitely older and are a bit run down, but the dining area and what I was able to see of the kitchen appeared to be decently well kept. The restaurant was pretty quiet both times we were there, and both times, we ended up being the only table in the restaurant by the time we were finishing up our meals. Ordering - just like any other fast-casual dining experience - is easy and straightforward. While the menu is surprisingly large, each of the combination plates are numbered, and smaller, individual items can be ordered a la carte. I believe I remember seeing breakfast items too, which I'm sure would be bomb! If I ever find myself back in the area, you best believe I'd be hitting up Paco's Tacos to sample more of their menu. Anyway, during each of our visits, I ordered one of the combination plates: first was the chili verde plate, and then came the carnitas plate. Boyfriend had enchiladas the first go-around, and the carne asada plate on our return trip... sadly, no pictures of our first visit, but taste is the only memory I need! The young girls at the front, if I may add, were super polite, very friendly, and patient with us (mainly me... so indecisive!) while we were figuring out what to eat. After we ordered and found our seats, I returned to the counter to grab some of the self-serve salsas and some of the pickled jalapeños, carrots, and onions they had set up for customers. Not sure if it sounds strange, but the veggie combo and it's heat level we're super yummy; salsas we're pretty amazing, too. Once I got back to the table, it didn't take long for our meals to be brought out. In addition to the meat, combo plates come with sides of refried beans, rice, and a small scoop of both pick de gallo and guacamole; you're also given a piping hot, fresh, homemade tortilla on the side (YUM). It may be deceiving in the photos, but it is a ton of food; I wasn't able to finish my plate either time, even though I wanted to stuff my belly full of this goodness. The other thing worth mentioning is the horchata... seriously the answer to peace on earth. This stuff was BOMB. I've not had too much of this sweet drink throughout my life, but I know that the ratios of all ingredients need to be spot on, and Paco's knows what's up. If you find yourself in Page, GO TO PACO'S TACOS. Food is fresh, staff is friendly, and you get a ton for what you pay... I know I'll be back if I ever have the chance! read more

They ask if you want ice in it so be prepared to make this choice. The horchata was very good. Not too much cinnamon. Just the right amount. Very refreshing after a 13 mile hike. The carnitas taco was loaded. It came with tomatoes, cilantro, and onions. I added guacamole. It was pretty good. The only complaint is that the taco wasn't double wrapped like I normally receive them. It fell apart pretty easily. The fork they provide does the trick though. This was the best food we had in Arizona. My husband got a fish taco (which was delicious), a carne asada taco, and a beef taco, and he was impressed with all three. I got the combo with a cheese enchilada and a beef burrito.. That beef burrito was life changing. I will be going back specifically for that beef. This little hole-in-the wall Mexican place is in a renovated fast food restaurant. I was a bit dubious about eating here because of previous comments on the condition of the building but contrary to previous comments it was very clean inside and the ceiling tiles were not in disrepair. It was mostly quiet with just a few customers. The ambience was very casual. The service was standard. You ordered your food at the register and then they called your name to pick it up. They also had a drive through available should you want to get your food to go which is a nice option. Seating ranged from 2-4 people per table. They had a good selection of food. We decided to share a carne asada burrito which was roughly 7 dollars with tax. The prices were not outrageous for the quality of the food. I would consider them standard prices that you would see at most Mexican places. The outside of the burrito was soft, chewy, and delicious and seemed to taste hand made. The meat itself was well cooked. It was a hair on the salty side for my taste though but then again, I don't add salt to my food regularly. They had a selection of toppings you could add to your food such as lime, chopped onion, cilantro, and several types of salsas at a small bar near the register. I am rating it a 4 stars because the restaurant was clean, service quick, and the food wasn't bad either. All in all it was a good place to stop and get a quick bite to eat. read more

People: fun for all ages, they have a few high chairs for the ninos. Perks: this is a great taco/burrito joint in Page. I stopped by to grab some lunch after visiting Antelope Canyon. The atmosphere in the restaurant felt old and a little run down. The prices for the food were a little high for a fast food type restaurant (same price as sit down place). I came in with low expectations only because the Mexican place next door was filled with customers and this wasn't. I was too lazy to wait 45 mins for a table at the place next door and saw that this place was fairly empty. I went inside and it was your typical chain style fast food place ( think McDs/ Taco bell). I got the Carne Asada Burrito and my bf (who is a hardcore vegetarian) got the Veggie Burrito. When I saw the size of the burritos I was floored! I had to hold it in two hands and still then it was too big for me to wrap my fingers around. It was the size of a small baby. Best part of the burrito... none of filler crap ie beans, rice, shit ton of lettuce just good quality chopped carne asada (slightly on the salty side), guac, grilled onions, and some veggies. The veggie burrito was filled with the usual bean, cheese, rice and some primo veggies as well. The bf thought it was so good, he asked to have it again for lunch again! Also their sauces were legit. Mild, medium, and the bright one which I didn't try because it looked like fire. Veggie burrito 5.75 Carne Asada 6.40 4 stars for the food! 5 stars for the price! I went here only after hearing some coworkers rave about this place; so, I've been very disappointed with the places I've visited this far and figured I would try it. Quite frankly, it looks like an abandoned McDonalds and has no curb appeal whatsoever. If I didn't hear about this place from people I trust, I wouldn't have stopped. Popped in to order and was greeted nicely. Menu is like what you would find at a typical Chinese/Mexican food place - pics of what they offer. I went with two chimichangas (one beef and one chicken). Priced at $8 each, I expected a Taco Bell portion (small to midsize); thus, went with the double order. Food is prepared to order. Waited about five minutes and was served. Got home and inspected - these things are huge! Ate the beef first and loved it! Great flavors. Tender beef and fresh veggies/toppings. Saved the chicken one for dinner tomorrow. Glad I stopped in - well worth the value. Would have given 5 stars; but, the parking lot and general appearance of the place is not too pleasant to look at - needs a good cleaning. read more
