We were coming back from Upper Antelope Canyon when we spotted this. K-Pop. We drove over. It's around 2:00pm. The menu is posted above the counter. Left hand side is Mexican. Right hand side Korean. Ordered Korean- * japchae bap * ramen coated Korean corn dog - half cheese half hot dog * Korean fried chicken wings Hubby wanted the wings. No dressing. Some of the wings still showed pink. I asked him if fall off the bone. He said no. He's not a picky eater. I would have been uneasy. I had the japchae. It was a very generous serving. Little bits of beef. Too many green bell peppers. Just right amount of carrots and yam noodles. Served atop rice. A meal in itself. I'd been wanting to try a Korean corn dog but didn't want to pay Bay Area prices. So I ordered one here. It came laced with ketchup & mustard. I was already content with my japchae bap so I only ate half. But I'll give it a try when I get back home for comparison. The business is run by a Korean couple. The wife came out of the kitchen to ask us if we enjoyed the food. Of course we did. They are transplants from Los Angeles. Who knew there'd be an authentic Korean restaurant here. Went here after our Antelope Canyon tour.We were really excited because it's very rare that you get to see a korean restaurant in a small town and it's rated well. Sad to say my husband and I was super DISAPPOINTED. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE KIMCHI FOR BANCHAN! We ordered the soybean soup and tteokbokki.For the price we paid,their serving is very little.The soybean soup didn't have that much meat,tofu and veggies like it said in their menu description.It has very good flavor but wished it's packed with ingredients (Paid $17 for it). Stayed here for a night as part of a road trip and really wanted something comforting when we arrived at Page. Unfortunately we arrived past 9PM and they were already closed, so I was really fixated on getting some food here the next morning. I went straight to K-Pop Kitchen when it opened; it's a cute little corner shop in a shopping complex. They have a lot of Korean street food, as well as texmex options as well. We opted for a kimbap and a carne asada burrito. I think the kimbap options changes during the week or day. There was only tuna and spicy tuna kimbaps when we were there. Initially I thought, $14.99 for kimbap was a little expensive as they're usually ~$7-8 in NY, but then I realized each box of kimbap technically contained 2 rolls and they were pretty loaded, so they were worth it in the end. As for the carne asada burrito, I really enjoyed it because it was packed with protein and everything inside melded so well together; I did wish there was a little more char to the carne asada tho, but otherwise the flavor was def there. Would highly recommend coming here to pick up some snacks for your road trip. There's a lot of options, super portable and easy to carry around and will easily hit the spot! read more

Food is more like a 2.5 but made it 3 stars because service was friendly, food not as good as other review said. Portion is average and taste is average road trip Asian food quality, got a Gimbap and just taste like it's loaded with fish sauce or msg, not tasty, not because they used tuna, but the rice is a bit mushy, pickles have little flavor and all I can taste was msg, it's cost $15 before tax while Gimbap usually is below $10, so mess it up at $15 is a big no no. Was giving this place a try to decide if we were gonna load up some food on the trip and nope! Had much better food at Bird House few blocks away for the same/lower and price their fried chicken was , much better food. Might sound bias judging this all base on a Gimbap but as a Korean shop, you just can't mess that up. I'll rate the Gimbap as good as a California roll from Safeway or maybe worst because of all that msg. read more

I was really looking forward to eating here my wife and son were craving sushi and rice when I called 30 minutes before they closed, confirming the time that they closed I was told they closed in 15 minutes and they couldn't take my order. So glad we came here for lunch! This food was insanely delicious. Korean soul food sure hit the spot. My teenage son was in heaven over the egg avocado sandwich. He couldn't stop talking about it. I tasted it and was an instant fan. I've never tasted an egg sandwich that good in my life. I never thought eggs could be addicting but this sandwich melts in your mouth like a marshmallow and sends you straight to heaven. It's like Texas toast with smoked ham, creamy avocado and egg and an incredible sauce. So much flavor bursting in each bite. I ordered a Korean corn dog that was also out of this world. It had fried diced potatoes on the outside and melted mozzarella and hotdog inside. It was made fresh, rolled in sugar, and blew my mind! The melted gooey cheese with the dustehomemqd sugar somehow works really well together! I also ordered jjajang bap and wow! Savory beef in a thin hearty beef gravy over the best rice I've ever had with fresh lettuce on top. It was like a comforting stew. The owner was so kind. She treated us like family and brought us lots of free little extra sides to try. She smiled and kept bringing us extra of anything that she noticed we liked. She made lots of suggestions of what we should try on our food and how we should eat it and I'm so glad we took her advice such as the red pepper granules on top of the jjajang bap. She brought us a cup of a soup/broth to drink to help wash down the rice. It was amazing!! The Korean pickles she brought out were addicting. They looked like sliced yellow radishes and were sweet. Such a treat! She also brought us out some homemade kimchi and then brought us more! And my younger kids got the quesadillas. They were huge and so delicious. They the entire thing and also loved the little salsa bar. I also recommend the Sangria soda! I've never left a food review this long but it needed to be said. Just the right amount for me. I imagine you can change up spice level if you want to. Good so I ordered again. Japchae bap it is. Generous portion. Paired well with fish cake soup and I don't know the name of the Korean pickle. All very good. They are still starting up and it being winter, service quick and team was courteous. One menu features Korean food and the other Mexican food. The owner was nice and made recommendations on what to order. Actually, everyone that works at K-Pop were friendly. We ordered the soy garlic chicken wings and tteokbokki with fried dumplings. The chicken wings were good and I would order it again. It was my first time trying tteokbokki and probably my last.
