Came in for dinner and let's see how it is! Friendly lady that works almost everything is probably the owner! They open for dinner at 5 and close it 9! Being up here in the mountains of Utah in a small community you just don't know how it's going to be! Ok they pass it's fantastic and the meals or Hugh enough for two so we had enough for four! The inside is dated but who cares the food is great!

Had went up to Kenab, Utah this past Spring Break for some fun hiking. Happened to come across the only Asian restaurant there so gave it a try. Noticed there were only two employees there but they were so efficient. I noticed the pricing was reallly high for Chinese restaurant food. But what made me change my thought was how big the portion was. Loaded with the main course, rice, chow mein, and gyoza for the combo plate.

Small Asian restaurant in Kanab (maybe the only one) that serves big portions. The noodles in the combo plate were really good. Limited staff but they were great. The place is clean but could use some upgrades.

If you are looking for a fulfilling meal in the heart of Utah, fusion House is in for the rescue. Everything on the menu is freshly made and tastes good. This is the best type of food you can find in the middle of this hiking region of the core of Zion. I recommend this place when you are not looking for a fancy place but just for a warm delight!

Craving for Chinese food and this tiny place hits the spot. No outdoor seating unfortunately. Started with deluxe appetizer so we can have a little of everything (tempura shrimp, cheese wonton, pork gyoza, spring roll, chicken karaage). Main courses were: black pepper steak with egg fried rice. Chose mild spiciness as I can't enjoy the flavoring if it's too spicy and this was really well flavored. Then wifey had the lunch special of orange chicken (she picked medium spiciness) . It was also really good but could have the sauce on the side to keep the chicken crispy. Serving is really big and we had to have it to-go as we couldn't finish it. Glad we got to try this place.

What a sweet place. I had the incredible vegetable udon soup. Hubby had Kung Pao Chicken. Great service and wonderful colorful fresh food!

Nice to find some vegan options in a small Town. We were able to order online and pick up. It was ready when they said it would be as well. The Thai Tofu Curry was particularly good. I would love to see more vegetable focused dishes on the menu, even as sides.

Covid friendly to start with was a nice surprise. Staff wearing masks and gloves, table spacing, table sanitizing and a sanitizer station when you walk in. This is a small local spot. Nothing fancy just simple and straightforward. The Menu was a bit of a surprise. It wasn't the standard boring presentation. Sure most selections were familiar but the read was more interesting. There's Fusion selections, an extended vegetarian section, main courses, family options, Japanese curry choices, udon noodles soups and lastly some sushi rolls. Kinda nice for a change. I was hungry and opted for the Mongolian beef and Tempura Shrimp and my wife choose the Black Pepper Beef. The prices aren't inexpensive but the again compared to the rest of the restaurant options in Kanab we checked out it was in line. One of the things that caught our eye was the "Certified Angus Beef" noted in the menu. I was immediately a bit skeptical as this is not normally seen in small mom & pop Asian restaurants. When our food arrived promptly we we pleasantly surprised. The presentation was appetizing and the portions were legit. Best of all the flavors were soooooo good. They really do use "CAB" Angus beef! My Mongolian beef was excellent and so tender. The Black Pepper Beef was the biggest surprise. You generally expect it to be chewy but this was crazy flavorful and tender. We had both orders"medium spicy" and it really was. That perfect, just on the edge of hot but not burning. We spent the rest of the meal with smiles on our faces. What a find. As travelers you learn not to have to high of expectations, but this broke the mold. We'd been in Utah for the last 10 days with mediocre to barely passable/survivable dining experiences. How refreshing. The server " Andy" was a nice, polite, informative, attentive young man. We left full and happy thinking we'd be coming back. No

Another vegetarian-friendly spot in Kanab, I was so excited to see meatless chicken on the menu, as well as lots of other vegetarian choices. My food was delicious, a very decent price, and lots to choose from to please any type of appetite. And good adult beverages choices too.

    Chicken Katsu Curry. Oh yes!

This eatery is something different, in the best way. COMFORT FOOD with family like service. Visited 20 minutes before closing on a late Thursday night while visiting Kanab. We were tired of the same old thing and I was in need of some veggies, with an Asian flavor that I miss from back home. Ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and the Chicken Curry Noodle Bowl. Both were SO rich in flavor. The sweet lady (guessing owner and chef) running the place was so helpful. I would marry her for her cooking skills! Love at first bite.

Alright food for the area, but you are better off eating in the Zion for practically the same price.

The teriyaki bowl was tender and flavorful with just the right amount of sauce, and the galbi was well-marinated, juicy, and grilled perfectly. The katsudon was crispy on the outside and soft inside--classic comfort food done right. The teriyaki bento was especially impressive with generous portions and a great variety. I also appreciated the Korean kimchi on the side--it was clean, flavorful, and paired really well with the dishes. We also tried the seafood salad and a few rolls, and everything tasted fresh and light, making the meal feel nicely balanced. What really stood out was the customer service. The owner is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about the guests, making sure everything is just right. That personal touch really elevates the experience. This spot is also perfect for visitors and tourists--the menu is approachable, the service is welcoming, and it's an easy, reliable place to enjoy a great meal whether you're in the area for a short visit or just passing through. Overall, this place feels consistent, thoughtful, and easy to enjoy. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and confidently recommend. Many thanks to owner family for wonderful foods!

Anyway, the female staff member was nice to me and helped me with my needs. I think she was serving almost all the tables and everyone was happy with her service. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken dish since I was doing a lot of hike in Utah region and needed good protein. It was good. I will definitely visit again because of the same female staff members. The ambience is good but they should handle the guests with a care is what I want to see improved.

Three star reviews: I understand the 3 star reviews some folks have provided. Compared to big city locations it might be below some expectations. But, the food was very good compared to other restaurants in the area we went to. My review: I give it a five star because the food was tasty, the view was great and it was laid back. I'm pretty critical and straight forward in my reviews and I gave "sunset 89" - 5 stars. Was it the best place I've eaten and experienced -no. But for the area and our vacation - it was the best place we ate at. Normally: If this was a place in my hometown I'd probably give it a 3 star. Cost: The cost was a little high. But everything was a bit high in this vacation spot. We split the short rib bowl between two. If you are real hungry then it should easily fill you up but you should not share then.

I was going to get the Loaded Fries for my entree, but they were sold out of the short ribs.
