We came here for a family dinner as we take a family road trip. The restaurant accommodated all 9 of us easily on a weeknight. First of all, the interior is very festive, very fun, bright and friendly. They have plenty of tables and the dining room, tables and chairs are clean. Now for the food and drinks- margaritas? They come out with a flaming lime! FLAMING LIME! I didn't order one, but of the 3 in our party that did- they said they were great. Everyone ordered something different and there were no complaints at the table. I ordered the Mar y Tierra burrito (surf n turf). I ordered without sour cream, but the crema that comes on top of the burrito was absolutely fantastic. I could have used a bit more "surf" (shrimp) but I honestly have no complaints. The burrito was so good I had to finish the whole thing. In Page to do some kayaking, and we stopped in for a late lunch. The parking lot isn't the best, with a limited amount of spaces and they are tight. Bright, colorful atmosphere. We were seated right away, and then had a waiter address us almost immediately. The hubby got a Pepsi $3.99 and the Combo Appetizer $20.49. He dug into the combo app and he said he can't wait to go back again as it was delicious. We had a microwave in our room, so he ended up taking half with as it was a lot of food. I got the Vegetarian Combo $17.99 with a cheese enchilada and a bean tostada. The cheese enchilada was fabulous! The sauce was perfect....not too hot but not overly mild. We got a take out and we loved how the food was tasty, healthy, and not expensive. It was worth the money spent. Their chips and salsa was amazing (so fresh and the taste was to die for). The waiter suggested the prickly pear house margaritas (between a couple of flavors I asked about), it came out with a pretty orchid and a lime full of tequila on fire! The presentation was awesome and the flavor was delicious and not overly sweet. A real show stopper! I had the quesobirria taco and pastor taco with extra grilled onions and jalapeño. Both were amazing! The quesobirria was toasted with cheese and the meat was tender and extremely flavorful. The pastor had grilled pineapple and the meat was perfectly seasoned. My husband had the carnival tacos and enjoyed the flavor and that the pork was slightly toasted, but not dry. But regardless, I guess another staff member joined in after a while to check in on us. Honestly, his attitude alone changed my opinion of the ordeal. I tipped him well. He deserved it. I still have no idea what happened to my original waiter.. we didn't see him for the remainder of us there. Either way, I recommend this place. It isn't expensive and the food is good. Came in and shared with the host if they could accommodate our group of 3 without a 45 min timeframe so we can make it to our tour on time. This is the prettiest Mexican restaurant I ever visited The colorful ambiance says it all... We were staying close to Horseshoe Bend and I'd recommend anyone going to that side of Arizona to visit this wonderful restaurant for a wholesome meal. Luckily, they have a section of vegetarian items separately mentioned on the menu which made it easier for us to decide being vegetarians. I loved the preparation, the presentation of a flag with each dish, and the taste. We respectfully put the flags straight up on the side of the table so that they could reuse them later.
