Poke and unagi in huge bowls. So fresh!

Don't believe all of the so-so reviews from 2025. We stopped in here after a day of hiking in the slot canyons (thank you Deer Springs Canyon tours - that will be a separate Yelp review). Not wanting pizza, burgers or other fast fried food, we ordered the poke bowl and the unagi (eel) bowl. A bowl of miso soup started off our meal. Both bowls were so refreshing! Each were full with rice, avocado and seaweed salad. Plenty of poke and eel. Topped off with some mochi ice cream ended a perfect day.

Came here for dinner during a trip to Page, AZ. The miso soup is complimentary and alright. Unfortunately, they were not serving udon as it was not wintertime. We opted for the eel rice bowl dish instead, which was outstanding. We had a sushi roll, but this is a definitely fail. The rice was stone cold and the tempera shrimp inside was chewy. Service was fast and straightforward.

    Too expensive for $18.99

Worst sushi restaurant ever. It looks like a Thai restaurant, a Korean and a sushi restaurant are the same owner. Bad customer service, the food is overpriced. Not recommend. Don't know why google reviewed Yelp so opposite

    Crunch roll

We went on a weekday around 11:30 and the place was empty. Service was great. The crunchy roll was fantastic. Miso soup was as expected. Prices are good for what you get. Would definitely recommend!

THE BAD REVIEWS ARE FOR THE THAI NEXT DOOR NOT THE SUSHI PLACE. Hubby found them on google with great reviews, I looked on yelp and was surprised it was poorly rated. Started reading the bad reviews and it was people rating the WRONG place. There is no bento box or pad Thai here. It's sushi, Thai place is next door, separate restaurants. For a sushi place in the middle of the desert... this sushi was great. Not the best sushi in my life but definitely not a single complaint. Family atmosphere, freshly made. We would eat here again.

The K-Bingsu place that is connected is so good! Their shaved ice is a great portion and their mochi is yummy as well.

We happened to see a brochure for New York Teriyaki and decided to check them out and we are super happy that we did. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center just a few miles from the tour meeting location and is inside of a former tourist excursion paddle boat (named the "Canyon King"). One cool thing that my wife and I noticed is that when we were sitting in the back of the "boat", we could see the engine of the boat below us. As soon as we walked in, we were promptly seated and were given our menus. After we placed our order, we received our food shortly thereafter and were blown away by how good everything was. My wife and I like to go to sushi restaurants in San Diego and really liked the California rolls and crunchy California rolls that we ordered. The edamame was a great appetizer and the drinks were also refreshing. The manager came to check on us and my wife and I found out that he is originally from Orange County, CA and was also the one who prepared the sushi for us. Super friendly guy! Major kudos to the staff at New York Teriyaki for an awesome meal and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area!

Anyway, the female staff member was nice to me and helped me with my needs. I think she was serving almost all the tables and everyone was happy with her service. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken dish since I was doing a lot of hike in Utah region and needed good protein. It was good. I will definitely visit again because of the same female staff members. The ambience is good but they should handle the guests with a care is what I want to see improved.

Ordered Chicken with yellow curry and rice . Very good Chicken with garlic basil and veggies . Came with rice. A little salty. Pad see wee was tasty . The noodles were cooked right. The seaweed salad was refreshing The sweet sour fried chicken wings were mouthwatering. Tom kha soup was not appetizing. The coconut milk or paste was clumping above the broth. Not a fan . The best was the price was very reasonable for a party of 6 We will be back

I…read morespecifically didn't order from the other Thai restaurant(better reviews, I regret) nearby coz I like my fried rice to not have eggs. I was pretty excited, paid ~ $22 for this meal (added extra tofu). However, this place was nothing but disappointment for the price and quality. The food tasted fine - but it was extremely greasy (understand it is fried rice, but still). It had less veggies and there were like two basil leaves - basically not what one would expect. Well, now comes the packaging, for this premium price why would you not pack it in a compostable box, but a styrofoam box with foil paper in it. I was not happy with the wastage created - also a compostable box would have absorbed some oil which would have helped me and this review. Unfortunately, I would only probably not recommend this place much, coz it's not worth the money and did not seem as a healthy or wholesome option for vegetarians. They took my order on my phone and quickly got it ready, that part was great. Thanks for saving me some time. The restaurant looked just okay, nothing fancy. Otherwise, this restaurant is conveniently located in the downtown / restaurant / shopping area. Plenty of parking spots and pretty close to Horseshoe bend (one of my favorites from the trip :))

Took awhile to both be greeted and get seated for our reservation and even then, the service wasn't particularly friendly - they seemed rushed, busy. Our male waiter seemed sort of apathetic - we weren't checked on often and no explanation when dishes were brought out. Cocktails were good but very ice heavy. The best dishes were the toasts. I'd rate it a 3.5 if I could because i had high expectations and that probably made some of the more disappointing dishes- like the sweet and sour ribs as well as the chicken satay (overcooked and dry) - more disappointing. The meal overall was pretty good, but just wasn't consistent and didn't match the price point.
