Poke and unagi in huge bowls. So fresh!

Don't believe all of the so-so reviews from 2025. We stopped in here after a day of hiking in the slot canyons (thank you Deer Springs Canyon tours - that will be a separate Yelp review). Not wanting pizza, burgers or other fast fried food, we ordered the poke bowl and the unagi (eel) bowl. A bowl of miso soup started off our meal. Both bowls were so refreshing! Each were full with rice, avocado and seaweed salad. Plenty of poke and eel. Topped off with some mochi ice cream ended a perfect day.

Came here for dinner during a trip to Page, AZ. The miso soup is complimentary and alright. Unfortunately, they were not serving udon as it was not wintertime. We opted for the eel rice bowl dish instead, which was outstanding. We had a sushi roll, but this is a definitely fail. The rice was stone cold and the tempera shrimp inside was chewy. Service was fast and straightforward.

We went on a weekday around 11:30 and the place was empty. Service was great. The crunchy roll was fantastic. Miso soup was as expected. Prices are good for what you get. Would definitely recommend!

Worst sushi restaurant ever. It looks like a Thai restaurant, a Korean and a sushi restaurant are the same owner. Bad customer service, the food is overpriced. Not recommend. Don't know why google reviewed Yelp so opposite

THE BAD REVIEWS ARE FOR THE THAI NEXT DOOR NOT THE SUSHI PLACE. Hubby found them on google with great reviews, I looked on yelp and was surprised it was poorly rated. Started reading the bad reviews and it was people rating the WRONG place. There is no bento box or pad Thai here. It's sushi, Thai place is next door, separate restaurants. For a sushi place in the middle of the desert... this sushi was great. Not the best sushi in my life but definitely not a single complaint. Family atmosphere, freshly made. We would eat here again.

The teriyaki bowl was tender and flavorful with just the right amount of sauce, and the galbi was well-marinated, juicy, and grilled perfectly. The katsudon was crispy on the outside and soft inside--classic comfort food done right. The teriyaki bento was especially impressive with generous portions and a great variety. I also appreciated the Korean kimchi on the side--it was clean, flavorful, and paired really well with the dishes. We also tried the seafood salad and a few rolls, and everything tasted fresh and light, making the meal feel nicely balanced. What really stood out was the customer service. The owner is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about the guests, making sure everything is just right. That personal touch really elevates the experience. This spot is also perfect for visitors and tourists--the menu is approachable, the service is welcoming, and it's an easy, reliable place to enjoy a great meal whether you're in the area for a short visit or just passing through. Overall, this place feels consistent, thoughtful, and easy to enjoy. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and confidently recommend. Many thanks to owner family for wonderful foods!

Anyway, the female staff member was nice to me and helped me with my needs. I think she was serving almost all the tables and everyone was happy with her service. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken dish since I was doing a lot of hike in Utah region and needed good protein. It was good. I will definitely visit again because of the same female staff members. The ambience is good but they should handle the guests with a care is what I want to see improved.

Three star reviews: I understand the 3 star reviews some folks have provided. Compared to big city locations it might be below some expectations. But, the food was very good compared to other restaurants in the area we went to. My review: I give it a five star because the food was tasty, the view was great and it was laid back. I'm pretty critical and straight forward in my reviews and I gave "sunset 89" - 5 stars. Was it the best place I've eaten and experienced -no. But for the area and our vacation - it was the best place we ate at. Normally: If this was a place in my hometown I'd probably give it a 3 star. Cost: The cost was a little high. But everything was a bit high in this vacation spot. We split the short rib bowl between two. If you are real hungry then it should easily fill you up but you should not share then.

Our server was very friendly and helpful, but halfway through dinner all our drinks were dry. Food was delivered and then we were quietly left to enjoy with no check back. The end of dinner it took another 20 minutes to get the check and a box. We started with the Fried Brussel Sprouts, which were Incredible! I was going to get the Loaded Fries for my entree, but they were sold out of the short ribs. For my entree I got the fish and tots ( the entree is originally fries, but i switched ) My friend got the BBQ pork belly Bowl. The Yakisoba noodles were a bit chewy, the Steamed Rice was perfect. I was going to get the Churro Sundae, but the evening got too late.

With limited options and no fast-food chains in sight--just charming old-town shops--we stumbled upon Fusion House, a true hole-in-the-wall joint. We were greeted promptly by staff--who, despite the worn-out cushions on the seats (they've seen better days), managed to serve up a warm welcome. Ordering was a breeze, though the food took a little longer than expected--probably busy perfecting those huge, mouthwatering portions. When the plates finally arrived, we were blown away. The servings were so generous they could feed a small army--or at least guarantee leftovers for breakfast tomorrow! We went for the combo meals, which came with rice, noodles, an entrée, and a drink--at a price that didn't make our wallets cry. The food? Absolutely delicious. The star of the show was, unfortunately, the lone staff member (whose name we didn't catch), juggling orders, tables, and food delivery like a one-man band, all with a smile and a polite nod. All in all, a fantastic, satisfying stop--proof that sometimes, the best meals come from the most unassuming places. We rolled out of Fusion House stuffed, happy, and maybe a little grateful for the extra breakfast leftovers. Would definitely do it again--next time, with a camera, maybe.
