Shrimp lo men and Thai chicken wings

I can tell this is a small business, and the lady at the front desk is very friendly. The lo mein was extremely dry and salty, I only had one bite before tossing it out. The chicken wings were ok, while the sticky rice was overcooked and tough to chew. If this is your only option, the wings are a safe choice, but I wouldn't recommend the lo mein.

Now vegan items are available on the menu. Very good fried rice as well. Beef Pho is very good.

    Chashu in ramen

Absolutely no. The meat in the ramen is heavily color dyed and the soup has a weird plastic taste. Found hair in Shumai. The sauce in the hainanese chicken rice is way too sour. The beef pho is the only thing that's reasonable. The price does not match with the quality of food. I usually love to support local businesses and restaurants but i was really disappointed tonight.

Totally not what I expected from Hainanese chicken rice -- it was just tough chicken breast, couldn't even chew it properly.

Three star reviews: I understand the 3 star reviews some folks have provided. Compared to big city locations it might be below some expectations. But, the food was very good compared to other restaurants in the area we went to. My review: I give it a five star because the food was tasty, the view was great and it was laid back. I'm pretty critical and straight forward in my reviews and I gave "sunset 89" - 5 stars. Was it the best place I've eaten and experienced -no. But for the area and our vacation - it was the best place we ate at. Normally: If this was a place in my hometown I'd probably give it a 3 star. Cost: The cost was a little high. But everything was a bit high in this vacation spot. We split the short rib bowl between two. If you are real hungry then it should easily fill you up but you should not share then.

I was going to get the Loaded Fries for my entree, but they were sold out of the short ribs. For my entree I got the fish and tots ( the entree is originally fries, but i switched ) My friend got the BBQ pork belly Bowl. The Yakisoba noodles were a bit chewy, the Steamed Rice was perfect. I was going to get the Churro Sundae, but the evening got too late.

I was pretty excited, paid ~ $22 for this meal (added extra tofu). However, this place was nothing but disappointment for the price and quality. The food tasted fine - but it was extremely greasy (understand it is fried rice, but still). It had less veggies and there were like two basil leaves - basically not what one would expect. Well, now comes the packaging, for this premium price why would you not pack it in a compostable box, but a styrofoam box with foil paper in it. I was not happy with the wastage created - also a compostable box would have absorbed some oil which would have helped me and this review. Unfortunately, I would only probably not recommend this place much, coz it's not worth the money and did not seem as a healthy or wholesome option for vegetarians. They took my order on my phone and quickly got it ready, that part was great. Thanks for saving me some time. The restaurant looked just okay, nothing fancy. Otherwise, this restaurant is conveniently located in the downtown / restaurant / shopping area. Plenty of parking spots and pretty close to Horseshoe bend (one of my favorites from the trip :))

Some of the wings still showed pink. I asked him if fall off the bone. He said no. He's not a picky eater. I would have been uneasy. I had the japchae. It was a very generous serving. Little bits of beef. Too many green bell peppers. Just right amount of carrots and yam noodles. Served atop rice. A meal in itself. I'd been wanting to try a Korean corn dog but didn't want to pay Bay Area prices. So I ordered one here. It came laced with ketchup & mustard. I was already content with my japchae bap so I only ate half. But I'll give it a try when I get back home for comparison. The business is run by a Korean couple. The wife came out of the kitchen to ask us if we enjoyed the food. Of course we did. They are transplants from Los Angeles. Who knew there'd be an authentic Korean restaurant here. Located in a strip mall with Safeway as the anchor. P.S. we bought a egg & tuna gimbap rolls for later. We had it the next day. Still very good.

The pizza flatbreads and pasta were definitely the highlight of the meal: fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly delicious. The biggest downside for us was the ambience. The bar has a great selection of spirits and a pretty good selection of local and out of areas beers. For the appetizer, I ordered the pretzel sticks. They came with thick stone ground mustard and some jalapeno cheese dip. There were six sticks, and for two people, it was a lot. They tasted excellent! For dinner, we both had chicken sandwiches. My wife had grilled, I had fried. I like dry chicken and this place did not disappoint me. It was the way I like it! My wife on the other hand, didn't care for her grilled chicken. She said it was dry. She did however eat it, so it couldn't have been that bad! I had my sandwich with first, my wife had a salad. Both sides were really good. If you are in Page AZ, this place is a great stop for a meal or some drinks. The bar should have something you like.

Basically no flavor at all. $18 for very basic rice. The pineapple fried rice was exactly the same thing with the addition of a few chunks of pineapple. The noodles were fabulous and we basically fought for the last bit - looser got stuck with the rice. The Thai iced tea is a generous portion and helped raise our spirits over the otherwise unfortunate choice in restaurants.

The server was the waiter, cashier, bascially was everything. I was visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to try out the Korean food around here. Firstly, the one guy was really really selfish. And his attitude towards my family was so rude. He assumed we were like poor Chinese farmers that had never eaten Korean food. Although we were Chinese, we were dressed like normal people who had a normal personality and attitude. He literally also 'taught' us how to use bowls, and what we use them for. It was pretty humiliating. Second, the Korean army pot's food were okay, but the rice cakes and ramen costed extra even though the whole thing was already $45. The extras were $3.45 each. Also, the spam and rice cakes were cut in half; I guess to save money. Everything was really cheap, and the guy was just way too talkative, even getting anxious when our 4 person family wanted more than one set of the Korean side dishes. Lastly, he called out to us when we left, just to say he needed to count the cash. Also, they automatically put the tips in(about 15% for 1-4 people and 18% for 5 or more). I guess that was reasonable but when he was talking, his spot got onto my hands, and he even commented how I wasn't talking that much, but I was just really hungry. By the way, my family members were already ordering. I feel like 2 stars is already really too much.
