My family used to love BBQs. We frequently visited when I was young with my family and decided to go in for my dads birthday. He had a boot on since he tore his Achilles and was using crutches. We went in 4/27 around 8ish at night. The manager who was on site this day DOES NOT need to be working at a restaurant. What an absolute ***** fill in the blank as you wish. They tried to sit 6 of us in this tiny little corner and we kindly asked if we could be placed somewhere where my dad could spread his legs out a bit more. This guy didn't even let us finish our sentence and RUDELY escorted us and to another table where he we began talking to him AGAIN AND HE RUDELY cut us off and walked away from us again. Gave us the biggest attitude, pointed to the table and left as if we were bothering him. I asked our waiter if he was a manager and shared my complaints with him because well if that's the manager and he acts like that, then I could only imagine him if we approached and confronted his behavior. I will never be back to this BBQs ever and whoever that guy is definitely needs a couple lessons in service. As someone who used to work as a waitress herself, I was completely baffled at his attitude especially since we were just trying to accommodate our dad who I must repeat was IN A BOOT AND CRUTCHES. Wish I would've gotten his name but absolutely left a terrible taste in my mouth about this place. Thankfully our server was very nice and made up for that man's unpleasantness. read more

A nice place with a simple menu. Great for an inexpensive dinner. The food prices start from $10.99 up to 24.99. I had the surf and turf meal. Which consisted of rib eyes steak, baby back ribs and shrimp. The steak was nothing to write home about and I probably wouldn't order it again. The baby back ribs were just ok. However, the fried shrimp were excellent. They were golden brown, crispy and flavorful. The cornbread was good as well. Sweet and savory. I had it the next morning with coffee. The portion sizes are big and you can eat at least two meals out of it. As for the drinks I had a seltzer water with lemon. It tasted awful like the fountain wasn't cleaned. I also had a Long Island iced tea. Which was really good and gave me a buzz. If I go back here it will be for the cornbread the shrimp. read more

This was not our first visit to Dallas BBQ in the Bronx but it will definitely be the last!!! Yesterday my family and I encountered the worst service ever! The server was overwhelmed and the order was brought out wrong twice! The manager tried to blame my daughter for the fiasco and the attitude of both the server and the helper! Overall it was a horrendous experience. I should have followed my husband's suggestion and gone to RIBS ON THE RUN AND MORE in Yonkers where they know how to treat people and the food is always outstanding! read more

The food was delicious and the lady at the take out area was also very kind and gave positive suggestions. The wait didn't take long, and nice music playing in the back ground and the restroom was also clean I went around lunch time . The food was delicious. I will definitely be back back. The rice was not stuck together and the ribs were tender and moist. The chicken wings full of flavor also. I will definitely be back read more

The chicken wings and sticky ribs were fresh and hot! The 10 wings and double rack sticky wings were $22.99 EACH. The prices have definitely gone up over the years- which we understand with this economy! Even with the price, the wings are still big and juicy and we still bring leftovers home! Dallas bbq is one of our go-to spot. The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because our server was slow. He disappeared quite a few time when we needed him. Mind you, the restaurant was nowhere near busy when we were there. Because he was MIA, I had to personally get up and find him so he could give us the check. He was nowhere near our eating area. For 20 minutes he was not visible. read more

Dallas BBQ has always been a family favorite, and I love coming here, especially for the sticky wings...they're unmatched! The flavor, the crispiness, and the fact that they serve full wings (leg and flat included) make them a must order every time. No skimping here, unlike many restaurants nowadays. No wonder they offer a 10 piece option...I could keep eating them forever! That said, this location had its challenges. Service was very slow, though I have to give credit to our waitress. She was trying her best and was running the entire floor by herself, and I appreciated her effort. We were seated in a booth with a rocky table. They came to fix it, but we later realized the issue was actually the uneven floor. Another downside was that the bathroom is located upstairs, and the only elevator was out of order, which meant a disabled person in my party couldn't access the restroom. That was really disappointing and needs to be addressed. Lastly, the drinks took forever to come out. We ended up going to the bar ourselves to buy drinks separately because the wait was just too long. The overall ambiance of the place looked like it was a night club or could be a night club based on the layout. Overall, I'll always love BBQs because of the sticky wings, but I definitely wish the service and accessibility were better at this location. read more

I used to eat at Dallas bbq when I was younger, so I reserved a table for today to eat before watch a movie but was the most bad service that I ever had, the waiter justo take our appetizer and drinks, but she bring something else that what I order, when I ask her to change the drink she never bring me the drink that I order so me and my girlfriend prefer to leave, we don't even touch de drinks but she charge for both read more

A lackluster experience all around. Took awhile for a hostess to come to the station for us to be seated. Took awhile for a waiter to come to our table and he just asked if we were ready to order. No drinks first. Very poor service from waiter for our table and almost every table in his sections. Food was ok but nothing great. read more

I didn't expect a whole lot when eating at Dallas BBQ and that's exactly what I received. The food was okay and so was the atmosphere. I had the Petit Sirloin. I think serving it on a pita bread is a waste of a good steak since the bread absorbs all the juiciness from the steak. The Lil' Onion Loaf was good. The Mac & Cheese, not so much. read more

I have not been here since before the pandemic. The food is still good, love the onion loaf. Like every thing else the price has gone up. Things that were free now cost. For what they now charge ($3.50) for a piece of cornbread you cans make 3 pans of it yourself. I also had my usual Virgin piña colada which was not good at all. It had a weird taste like bad pineapples or something. read more

Took my daughter to BBQs for a dinner date. We both ordered the half rack of ribs. Mine came with a baked potato and my daughter got the fries. Our waitress was phenomenal and attentive. Food was decent nothing to rave about honestly due to my ribs being dry. This location is a bit ratchet too. The table across from us was playing loud music from a personal speaker. They were super drunk and loud which made it uncomfortable to enjoy our dinner. Will I be coming back ? Probably but for take out only. Not sure I'd eat in this location again though. read more

I stopped by Dallas BBQ and grabbed an order of their famous Sticky Wings, and they definitely lived up to the name. These wings are huge compared to most spots, and they were really good. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the sticky sauce had a solid flavor. I'd definitely recommend the wings if you're looking for something filling and tasty. I'm already planning to come back and try more from the menu. Since I got my food to go, I can't really speak on the dine-in experience or service, but based on the food alone, it's worth checking out. read more

We stop in for a quick bite to eat most people come here for the wings and they are always on point. A little disappointed about the shrimp and crab cakes. Service was good timely the waitress also was very patient while we decided and created drink drinks. The place is clean. They have TVs for watching sports events. They also have an outside for summertime. Music is cool volume is medium. You can go here with your family, date night or hanging with friends very affordable and they have free parking. read more

First time at this location, normally I grab a bite in Times Square after hitting the theater. My daughter brought my wife and grandson here for dinner, this location is at the co-op city Bartow ave mall facility. This area is bustling with activities and numerous restaurants and shopping centers. So the food is just like the other restaurant sticky wings and gargantuan drinks. My wife and daughter ordered the sticky chicken wings, corn on the cob and fries. I ordered the chicken and rib combo with the yellow rice and cornbread. Very tasty and flavorful. My grandson who's a track runner and jumper and always goes with the healthy choice ordered a power bowl which consisted of spinach, quinoa avocado mushrooms, and beans top with shrimp grilled he said it was delicious. The server was friendly enough however, once we received our meal, he never did come back over to see if we are all right. He just would look at us smile and walk away. Like I said nothing radicals to complain about but every now and then you like to know that your server is aware that you are there and you may need something. I would go back however if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

It's been a couple of years since I've eaten at BBQs and I was craving those delicious piña coladas. Had a chill date night with my partner. Once again, the piña coladas are tooooo die for!! After 2 regular sizes, I felt a buzz. I ordered the Hennessy wings and they were sweet. The coleslaw is always good, I don't know what magic they put in this. The Buffalo wings were sooo delicious. I would order those the next time I return, as well as the crispy shrimp. read more

I'll keep it simple. I came out with my mom and siblings for dinner. The service was poor and the food was mediocre. I was not expecting much but I was very surprised when the waiter made it clear that he was inconvenienced by us asking for an extra sharing plate. This guy was super impatient and lacked friendliness. I don't expect a fine finding experience when I go to Dallas BBQ, but I think it's surprising to have such a subpar dining staff. You don't usually go to Dallas BBQ expecting the best food. I thought the sticky wings were cool and my mom ordered the beef bbq ribs and those were also not bad. The cornbread itself was lackluster. My baby bro got the cheeseburger and ate it up quickly. We got 3 pina coladas and those were amazing. I know their drinks are their highlight. Friday evening out with family. The menu offers a selection for everyone. Great music playing. Plenty of seating available. The only thing I did not like is the bathroom is upstairs. I went yesterday around 2 pm and was glad to see it was not crowded at all. The host said we had to wait 3 minutes for a table I sat down on bench in front of him. Ordered takeout with some colleagues. Originally decided to order takeout for their Hennessy Frozen drinks which are always strong and delicious but decided to order food as well. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was pretty good for chain take out. My colleague ordered the burger. Unfortunately she could not tell if it was rare or raw in the center so she only ate the outer edge of the burger as she didn't want to drive back. Another person in my office ordered the wings which were messy but by far the best thing ordered. Of all the items we ordered I would recommend the wings which is why I give this restaurant 4 stars. The person up front handling orders to go was quick and friendly. read more

Some of my fondest memories with family and friends are at Dallas BBQ in Times Sq. I've frequented the Coop city location many times and to me the experience is a little different. My most loved dishes here are the salads including the shrimp caesar salad, the power bowls and angry shrimp, appetizer. The pineapple grilled shrimp is also a favorite. You also can't go wrong with the vivacious, large and colorful drinks that can be had with meals. I give Dallas BBQ four stars for that alone. On the other hand, when I've gone to this location with people who are meat eaters they say they don't enjoy the chicken and that it lacks flavor. I remember looking at the rotisserie chicken and thinking that it definitely needed more cook time. I know that most folks go here for barbecue food but my suggestion is to stick to the seafood and you'll be okay. read more

The mega drinks were good, and the food wasn't too hot. The sticky wing was so good that we ordered three to go. The waiter was very nice. Some of the drinks weren't good, so they changed them. The restaurant was very busy and it's in a nice location with shopping and near hotels and plenty of parking. We were celebrating a birthday, and they song happy birthday. They give you little donuts, and they melt in your mouth. If you haven't been their you should take a visit, and you won't be disappointed. They have four location. And try out the different chicken wings. The sticky and henney wing are the best sealer. Don't forget to kick your finger. Lol read more

My first time at this location since Covid and I must say I'm impressed ! I went on a Saturday afternoon at around 5pm with my family of 5 . There was a little wait time but not that long since we were a bigger party . There's a man in the front that is doing a number system . He gives you a piece of paper with your number and you wait outside .When you're called you then have to come in get temp checked and you are let to the table. The tables were all spaced out and cleaned immediately after a party got up . Mask are required inside every except for the table . The food was delish and size was HUGE . We got an appetizer, 5 entrees , 5 drinks and 3 to go drinks and the bill was only 285 with gratuity already added so it's also good on the wallet :) . I would definitely go to this location again . My only complaint is that the bathroom was DISGUSTING! They need to do more cleaning check ups ! Tip: if you can go early please do . When we were leaving at 7pm the wait time was extremely long and it started to get crowded . Happy eating . read more

I was there to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. When we arrived, the front desk staff were delightful. They explained before a party of 10 can be seated at least five people of the party must arrive. As soon as we had five people, we were seated immediately! The food was hot and delicious. I had the Health Power Bowl (OMG). The service was exceptional because Eva was assigned to our table. She was warm and welcoming and had a good sense of humor while maintaining her professionalism. This place is the pure reason why I don't go to D.BBQ's anymore. Sticky Wings: Sauce always good but the wings are over cooked. I ask for no ice with the drink and the drink comes with more ice than drink in it. Salad comes out with your actual meal. I ask for a cup size Mac N Cheese and get a bowl size and Kraft tastes better than theirs. The waitress Andrea was nice. Great smile. But the overall quality is horrible. read more

This spot always seem so lit and packed every time we pass by. Decided to give it a chance after the movies on a Sunday night. We were a bit skeptical because of the reviews so we ordered basic items that can't really go wrong. We tried the sticky wings and the bbq bacon cheese burger. The wings are huge meaning that they give you the ENTIRE wing not that drums and flats being separate crap. The wings were pretty decent but we didn't really enjoy the sticky sauce that much.. it tasted a bit off. Sticky sauce made our fingers super sticky so unless you tryna get down and dirty, I would not suggest this. the buyer however was pretty legit. i would've expected more fries but hey everything there was good. Overall, BBQ is a good spot for drinks I believe (which we didn't get any) but it's a bit on the regular side like an adult Applebees. read more

I came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch. The place was not crowed at all which made it a more peaceful environment. Usually when they are crowed, it's a nightmare with the pop up amature low budget clientele mixed in with family diners. So as for the food, I ordered the Hennessey wings. The sauce had an unexplainable taste. Not sure what happened, but it was just purely not worth ordering form there. Hence wings is a new trend its only about 10 yrs+ old. Seinor kitchen staff/Chef needs to taste every sauce before its served for the day. Now, how can you totally fry 5 pices of chicken wings and all the wing tips are still cold? How does this work? Who is monitoring the food service here. The fried crab was ok; however, it is not worth the 11 dollars for the 6 little fritters. How can a major chain screw this one up, while chain stores can get them right. The Texas size drinks are always on point here so no complaints on the drinks. From my opinion, this place is not worth it, unless you come for drinks. read more
