My family used to love BBQs. We frequently visited when I was young with my family and decided to go in for my dads birthday. He had a boot on since he tore his Achilles and was using crutches. We went in 4/27 around 8ish at night. The manager who was on site this day DOES NOT need to be working at a restaurant. What an absolute ***** fill in the blank as you wish. They tried to sit 6 of us in this tiny little corner and we kindly asked if we could be placed somewhere where my dad could spread his legs out a bit more. This guy didn't even let us finish our sentence and RUDELY escorted us and to another table where he we began talking to him AGAIN AND HE RUDELY cut us off and walked away from us again. Gave us the biggest attitude, pointed to the table and left as if we were bothering him. I asked our waiter if he was a manager and shared my complaints with him because well if that's the manager and he acts like that, then I could only imagine him if we approached and confronted his behavior. I will never be back to this BBQs ever and whoever that guy is definitely needs a couple lessons in service. As someone who used to work as a waitress herself, I was completely baffled at his attitude especially since we were just trying to accommodate our dad who I must repeat was IN A BOOT AND CRUTCHES. A nice place with a simple menu. Great for an inexpensive dinner. The food prices start from $10.99 up to 24.99. I had the surf and turf meal. Which consisted of rib eyes steak, baby back ribs and shrimp. The steak was nothing to write home about and I probably wouldn't order it again. The baby back ribs were just ok. However, the fried shrimp were excellent. They were golden brown, crispy and flavorful. The cornbread was good as well. Sweet and savory. I had it the next morning with coffee. The portion sizes are big and you can eat at least two meals out of it. As for the drinks I had a seltzer water with lemon. It tasted awful like the fountain wasn't cleaned. Dallas BBQ has always been a family favorite, and I love coming here, especially for the sticky wings...they're unmatched! The flavor, the crispiness, and the fact that they serve full wings (leg and flat included) make them a must order every time. No skimping here, unlike many restaurants nowadays. No wonder they offer a 10 piece option...I could keep eating them forever! That said, this location had its challenges. Service was very slow, though I have to give credit to our waitress. She was trying her best and was running the entire floor by herself, and I appreciated her effort. We were seated in a booth with a rocky table. They came to fix it, but we later realized the issue was actually the uneven floor. Another downside was that the bathroom is located upstairs, and the only elevator was out of order, which meant a disabled person in my party couldn't access the restroom. That was really disappointing and needs to be addressed. Lastly, the drinks took forever to come out. We ended up going to the bar ourselves to buy drinks separately because the wait was just too long. The overall ambiance of the place looked like it was a night club or could be a night club based on the layout. Took my daughter to BBQs for a dinner date. We both ordered the half rack of ribs. Mine came with a baked potato and my daughter got the fries. Our waitress was phenomenal and attentive. This area is bustling with activities and numerous restaurants and shopping centers. So the food is just like the other restaurant sticky wings and gargantuan drinks. My wife and daughter ordered the sticky chicken wings, corn on the cob and fries. I ordered the chicken and rib combo with the yellow rice and cornbread. Very tasty and flavorful. My grandson who's a track runner and jumper and always goes with the healthy choice ordered a power bowl which consisted of spinach,quinoa avocado mushrooms, and beans top with shrimp grilled he said it was delicious. The server was friendly enough however, once we received our meal, he never did come back over to see if we are all right. He just would look at us smile and walk away. Like I said nothing radicals to complain about but every now and then you like to know that your server is aware that you are there and you may need something. Ordered takeout with some colleagues. Originally decided to order takeout for their Hennessy Frozen drinks which are always strong and delicious but decided to order food as well. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was pretty good for chain take out. My colleague ordered the burger. Unfortunately she could not tell if it was rare or raw in the center so she only ate the outer edge of the burger as she didn't want to drive back. Some of my fondest memories with family and friends are at Dallas BBQ in Times Sq. I've frequented the Coop city location many times and to me the experience is a little different. My most loved dishes here are the salads including the shrimp caesar salad, the power bowls and angry shrimp, appetizer. The pineapple grilled shrimp is also a favorite. You also can't go wrong with the vivacious, large and colorful drinks that can be had with meals. I give Dallas BBQ four stars for that alone. On the other hand, when I've gone to this location with people who are meat eaters they say they don't enjoy the chicken and that it lacks flavor. I remember looking at the rotisserie chicken and thinking that it definitely needed more cook time. I know that most folks go here for barbecue food but my suggestion is to stick to the seafood and you'll be okay. read more

I was there to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. When we arrived, the front desk staff were delightful. They explained before a party of 10 can be seated at least five people of the party must arrive. As soon as we had five people, we were seated immediately! The food was hot and delicious. This place is the pure reason why I don't go to D.BBQ's anymore. Sticky Wings: Sauce always good but the wings are over cooked. I ask for no ice with the drink and the drink comes with more ice than drink in it. Salad comes out with your actual meal. My first time at this location since Covid and I must say I'm impressed ! I went on a Saturday afternoon at around 5pm with my family of 5 . There was a little wait time but not that long since we were a bigger party . There's a man in the front that is doing a number system . He gives you a piece of paper with your number and you wait outside .When you're called you then have to come in get temp checked and you are let to the table. The tables were all spaced out and cleaned immediately after a party got up . Mask are required inside every except for the table . The food was delish and size was HUGE . We got an appetizer, 5 entrees , 5 drinks and 3 to go drinks and the bill was only 285 with gratuity already added so it's also good on the wallet :) . I would definitely go to this location again . My only complaint is that the bathroom was DISGUSTING! They need to do more cleaning check ups ! Tip: if you can go early please do . Usually when they are crowed, it's a nightmare with the pop up amature low budget clientele mixed in with family diners. So as for the food, I ordered the Hennessey wings. Who is monitoring the food service here. The fried crab was ok; however, it is not worth the 11 dollars for the 6 little fritters. How can a major chain screw this one up, while chain stores can get them right. The Texas size drinks are always on point here so no complaints on the drinks. We were a bit skeptical because of the reviews so we ordered basic items that can't really go wrong. We tried the sticky wings and the bbq bacon cheese burger. The wings are huge meaning that they give you the ENTIRE wing not that drums and flats being separate crap. The wings were pretty decent but we didn't really enjoy the sticky sauce that much.. it tasted a bit off. Sticky sauce made our fingers super sticky so unless you tryna get down and dirty, I would not suggest this. the buyer however was pretty legit. i would've expected more fries but hey everything there was good.
